Everything is pretty decent - clean room with decent space and friendly front desk that speak perfect English. The location is not very ideal for tourists, but it has a bus stop just downstairs of the hotel.

Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

A great hotel to stay at after a long drive. People were really nice and helpful. The room was excellent. Enough parking space just a small walk away from the hotel.

First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus. Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room. There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that! For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions. If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.

LAKE GENEVA HOTEL Très bon produit grâce à sa situation et porte bien son nom LAKE GENEVA HOTEL il est très bien situé et vous offre une extraordinaire belle vue du lac Leman de Genève et de ses montagnes tout autour. Le personnel est chaleureusement accueillant et bienveillant et à l'écoute du client Dès le soir de notre arrivée On nous a proposé une chambre d'angle au 1er étage avec vue sur le lac que je ne voyais pas au primabord puisque il faisait nuit et en plus au moment de la réservation sur site ce n'était pas dans les prédispositions. Mais une fois sur place j'ai tout de suite validé malgré le petit surcoup mais cela en valait la joie et les 🤑 sur l'étendue du lac le lendemain au réveil et de son lit le spectacle etait époustouflant. La suite sera plus agréable avec les petits déjeuner hyper copieux et surtout très bon rapport qualité prix du vrai English breakfast à côté du continental un mélange français Anglais et le restaurant est d'un niveau supérieur et les plats sont servis avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et du savoir faire dans les recettes. C'est à voir pour le croire. Allez y sans calculer mais faites vous un petit budget puisque c'est la SUISSE et c'est GENÈVE et son LAC

Excellent location. Walk distance to Central Train Station and stone away from Geneva lake. Very good value for money. The facilities are pretty good. It even has a separate kitchen in the room. Decoration in the hallway are looking good. Loads of restaurants around the hotel. Got the best spaghetti carbonara ever had. Walkable distance to Geneva Cathedral and other interesting places. Close to central bus station as well which has bus connects major cities in Switzerland and some cities in neighbouring countries. The only negative thing is that the bathtub is quite narrow. When you take shower in it, it is hard not to knock on the side glass or to the wall. Other than that, everything else works great! Highly recommended!

Even though we arrived just before the check-in deadline, the hotel staff were incredibly kind and even gave us some chocolates. The hotel also had great facilities, including a gym and a sauna. The room was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay in. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was immaculately clean and smelt lovely, room was perfect, location was great, right in the heart of Geneva with easy access to train stations/bus stations and activity pick up points, nice chocolate shop underneath the hotel, with a McDonald’s and a wine and cheese restaurant. Although the breakfast buffet was all cold food baring boiled eggs, however choice was great, staff very attentive. Overall would recommend this hotel to anyone, cheap enough for Geneva and couldn’t fault it personally.

The hotel located near United Nations, public transportation is free by traveling in GENEVA, the hotel staff will help to register when you check in. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit old as expected. The breakfast was offered by semi buffet, a variety of food selections, quality of food was nice.

I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received. I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
