PPengguna TetamuWe stayed for one night on the 16th as a family of five and had a really great experience. At first, the hotel couldn’t reach us because our phone number isn’t registered in China, but once we got in touch, they sorted everything out quickly and had our check-in arranged in no time.
The staff were super responsive the whole time, whenever we needed anything, they were there right away. They also kindly let us check out later so my son could spend more time in the water, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect, the beach is right outside, and having a pool in the room makes it especially good for families. We also appreciated their help when we went to Crocodile Island, they suggested a walking route that avoided a lot of uphill walking. They kept us updated about the heavy rain as well and were very flexible in helping arrange transport to the pier.
Overall, everything was handled really well, even the small details. Would definitely recommend for families.

CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block.
The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:)
Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island!
Overall A+ experience!
(Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

PPengguna TetamuI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

PPengguna TetamuGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

PPengguna TetamuThis was an excellent place to stay. It's a bit far from the city center, but with access to DiDi, that was quite alright. It's very close to the beach so it's perfect for travelers to Beihai who want to enjoy Silver Beach. I invited a friend to come check out the city and travel a bit, and the two bedroom space was perfect for us. Honestly, it's a travelers paradise. We had a few days by the pool to relax, and it was wonderful.
The boss was fantastic. Any questions I had, he always answered quickly and thoroughly. The place was very clean and very comfortable. The appliances were brand new and the house had cooking utensils, pots, and a few plates to use. Although, it's worth either going into town or ordering food, there is a convenience store and a couple of restaurants literally outside the complex. A handful of other people who sell tasty treats and fruit were also often outside, which made grabbing some treats fast and easy.
I recommend this place. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Beihai.

PPengguna TetamuThe homestay is beautifully laid out and much thought has gone into the design. It’s very quiet and relaxing, and has lovely benches and swings outside surrounded by beautiful plants. The owner is very eager to please. You can walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach - the beach and the park next to it is beautiful and stretches for miles.
When I stayed in March/April, the weather was miserable and cold so I didn’t make use of the pool.
One thing to keep in mind, is that this is a homestay catering to Chinese people - that means breakfast is standard Chinese and the mattress on the bed is also Chinese-firm. Neither of the owners speak English, but you can add the lady on Wechat to communicate with her. Being a homestay means less crowds and more relaxing.
The owner was very kind to refund me one night when I decided to shorten my stay due to the crappy weather. I really appreciate that she was flexible and accommodating with this.

PPengguna Tanpa Nama這家酒店在我看來譭譽參半。先説好的地方，酒店建在冠頭嶺上，可以俯瞰整個海灣，所以大堂風景絕美。酒店走下沙灘不到5分鐘的距離（圖三），和銀灘相比冠頭嶺這邊人比較少，沙灘也更乾淨，商業也更有品味，沙灘邊上一家叫山夏的融合菜館相當不錯，是託斯卡納風，很出片。酒店的小童樂園非常棒，設施齊全空間大，清潔做得也好，玩具和裝修材料應該用得蠻好的，沒有異味。酒店還提供一日四次的小童課堂。咖啡吧的出品都還不錯，蛋糕烤腸飲料都好吃。接下來説壞的地方，一樓房間走道外不知道為什麼老是有一股臭味，像垃圾腐壞的味道，和服務人員反應他們來處理就沒味道了，但是過一會又臭起來。酒店有很多年輕的員工，但是感覺他們沒有帶教，經常一問三不知，也沒有人能求助的樣子，耽誤了很多事情。最令人不快的事情是，五一期間酒店所在的冠頭嶺交通管制，入住前酒店也沒有來電告知怎麼上山，讓我在關卡那溝通了好久，耽誤我和的士司機的時間。離店時問過前台有沒有預案，前台沒有告訴我酒店有司機班等候，衹説讓我預留好時間，從山下叫車上來。好不容易有司機願意接單，各種聯繫報備車牌等山下關口放行，一出門發現酒店門口就兩台空的士在候場。真是浪費我時間精力。

位置特別方便，走路幾分鐘就到銀灘，玩累了回來躺平超舒服。民宿是温馨的簡約風格，大廳寬敞明亮，有投影和休閑區，和朋友在這兒喝茶聊天特別放鬆。房間乾淨整潔，床品軟軟的，睡一覺起來神清氣爽。
老闆人也很熱情，會主動給我們推薦當地的美食和遊玩路線，還免費提供了停車場。帶寵物入住也完全沒問題，這點真的太貼心了！
性價比超高，下次來北海還選這裏！

I recently stayed at a beach view hotel in Beihai with a few friends, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities we needed. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the ocean right from our balcony—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The bathtub facing the ocean was an absolute treat, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the incredible sunset.
The kitchen was well-equipped, and we found it convenient to prepare our own meals when we felt like staying in. The hotel is located just steps from the beach, so we were able to enjoy the sand and sea without any hassle.
