I had a wonderful experience at this homestay. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They even assisted by bringing my food delivery directly to my doorstep, which was a very thoughtful touch. On my departure day, they also helped arrange transportation to pick up my luggage and send it to the airport, making my travel much easier and stress-free. The room was clean, the environment was comfortable, and the service truly exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in China. There's nothing I could point out as a downside (except maybe the air conditioner might seem a bit noisy to some, but I fell asleep just fine). On the plus side: · Very friendly staff. · Five-star customer service. Thanks to the hotel's tips, I visited a great night market after sightseeing – details like that are often difficult for foreigners to discover on their own. · You can also get recommendations for restaurants and attractions there. · The rooms are new, and the amenities (from robes to shampoo and even a scale) are excellent. · The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which was very good. Upon check-in, they gave me a very nice welcome gift and also provided some snacks. The location is quite convenient – you can walk to Millennium Park in about 25 minutes. In summary: one of the few hotels I would definitely choose again if I ever return to Kaifeng. Here, I truly felt like a guest, not just someone temporarily staying in a room.

The place has a home feel to it. It's a small hotel owned by a couple. The owners are nice and generous and offer tips for various things, and allow me to use their humble kitchen on the first floor for making my special diets three meals a day. My room is kind of small and bare ( no TV) but most times I was out a lot so never felt confined. The room is clean. There is free laundry though you have to hang to dry naturally. Location is great since it's near the middle of the city so I can walk to visit landmarks and shop different stores. There are restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious local food. Though there is a middle school next to the hotel and they have a loud PA system that starts to play a bit music followed by announcements from 7 in the morning to like 9 pm. But it doesn't interfere with my sleep since I wake up early. All in all, I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel and would strongly recommend.

The hotel is very quiet and in a great location to enjoy all the local attractions. The staff are very friendly and polite. The rooms are excellent and very clean and the restaurant has a great verity of food to suit your tastes. I would recommend staying here on your trip to Kaifeng.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are high-end, comfortable, and clean. While smoking is permitted in the hotel, I was pleased to find that my room did not have a smoky smell. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the breakfast offered a good selection. However, I found that some essential services for foreigners were lacking. For example, assistance with booking a taxi, sending packages, or arranging tours was not available. I was surprised that some essential services were not included, especially given the number of staff available to assist with carrying luggage and opening doors. This was a missed opportunity to enhance the overall guest experience which is something other hotels in China typically offer at no extra cost. Overall, while the hotel itself is nice, I believe it could benefit from providing these additional services to enhance the guest experience.

Very good location just next to pier for the boat ride and less than 5 min walk to Millennium park. The room view is good facing the water way. Will stay here if I come again

Location is near to attraction (wansuishan) but not adviseable to walk since it will be a long day walking Hotel Entrance is on a small street and tend to have traffic congestion due to the illegal parking Reception are friendly and helpful to a certain extend. Got free breakfast from member signup but the spread is disappointing . Went at 9am and most of the beverages are depleted. Instead of topping up, the staff tilt the dispenser for more beverages. The only meal item in the breakfast is just the mini hotdog Rooms is quite spacious, with separate bath and toilet. Lights switch is a mess with the bedside switch working on and off. Digital bidet is not working. Hot water is limited. Waited 5 mins for hot water and then halfway thru, the hot water ceases. Only 3 tv channel with no digital app available. Air ventilation quite bad as we can smell the smoke in our room. Althought there is a non smoking sign in the lobby, ppl are just ignoring thd sign. Direction to the laundry is not clear.

The hotel room was sufficiently designed for families even though its a smoking permitted room it did not smell as much of smoke as I thought it would. The reception staff are friendly and showed professional hospitality during our stay. My only qualm was that we paid for the “breakfast included” package but the breakfast fas anything but varied, even if it only served Chinese breakfast with more options it would be better… but this was not the case and to top it off the dining hall that needed to serve the whole hotel did not provide sufficient seating space for all the guests… many tables where set up for group dining so many guests dining as a couple took up a 4 seater table and placed personal items on the chairs to keep others from sharing the table. The hotel will benefit from providing guests with more breakfast options and sufficient seating space!

The housekeeper knocked the door while I was still in bed , she wanted to clean the room. First time she knocked the door I didn’t answer. She was continuing knocked and shouted loudly Fu Wu Yan until the third times of knocking totally 10times+ of knocking the door while I was frightened and looked for the jacket to wear. I was in not properly sleeping suit. I walked to the door and asked what? She said Fu Wu Yan clean the room. I said I didn’t ready to let you cleaned the room. She said Da Rao Le and will clean later. Hmmm I was like?!!! I have never met housekeeping knocked the door until you replied like this in another hotel. If this is normal for this hotel I think it has better way to do than knocking the door until the customer replies and it’s noisy when I didn’t wake up and had to wake up because of housekeeping wants to clean the room….

For some of the weekend, I took a train from Xi’an to Kaifeng. This weekend, a cold front came in. It didn’t matter because the Gulou night market had everything I needed to adjust. I found some hidden spots (like Bayu Morning Rikaye Alcohol, Lecker’s Leban German Restaurant, and Jieyou Grocery Little Bar) while exploring. The Millenium Park, Gulou Market, and Wansui Shan Wuxia City are very close. The hotel property is great for walking, and the room was really comfortable. Front desk was easy to communicate with despite the language barrier, and everything very efficient. There is a nice gym and pool, but I was out exploring. There is also a shuttle which can take you to a couple of spots nearby. This property is good for conventions or families, but I was fine as a solo traveler. Food good.
