DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The hotel’s location is a dream—offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained, modern rooms that strike a perfect balance between comfort and luxury. The amenities are pristine and thoughtfully designed to cater to every guest’s needs. What truly stood out to me, however, was the staff’s attentiveness. I’d like to extend a special shout-out to Miumiu, who went above and beyond to make my stay remarkable. She was incredibly helpful, addressing all my questions with patience and ensuring every detail was just right. Her dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this hotel apart. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a convenient base for exploring the area, the Bandao Resort Hotel is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return and experience this slice of paradise again!

Our family had such a lovely time at Guohui Hotel! From the warm welcome (complete with a fresh fruit platter!) to the spacious, clean room perfect for our kids to play, every detail was thoughtful. The huge, spotless bathtub was a bonus, and our little ones had a blast!
A special shout-out to Mr. Lihuihuang (Culinary Manager, Floor 32) for his outstanding hospitality. He ensured every meal was delicious and satisfying, with a rich variety of tasty dishes. And Mr. Da Fei (Customer Service Manager) went above and beyond, texting us breakfast reminders and providing instant, step-by-step guidance whenever we needed help. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service!

EEric19911991We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful, especially looking out toward the beach—it was exactly as shown and completely worth it 🌊✨
The place is very kid-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable as a family. The service was outstanding—thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special highlight was the afternoon tea and evening snacks thoughtfully placed on our door handle. It was such a lovely surprise and really showed how much attention the team puts into small details. We absolutely loved this thoughtful touch 💛
Although the weather wasn’t very favorable during our stay, we still enjoyed relaxing by the window, taking in the sea view, and feeling the calm atmosphere. Even on a cloudy day, the experience was peaceful and enjoyable.
Breakfast was another big plus—delicious, satisfying, and generous, leaving us happily full and ready for the day 😄
Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a beautiful seaside experience. We truly appreciate the care and effort from the entire team and would love to visit again!

The service at breakfast was extreme great. There is a typical Chinese breakfast but with also fried egg. But fist morning we were asked by the manager what we would like after which she every morning managed to provide bread, marmelade fresh lemon, tomato etc
Super helpful staff also at the reception always willing to help.
Rooms are nice but no closet to put your clothes in which would have been nice

PPausini GThe hotel location is good which is right at the cross road junction. 5 min walk away has many many seafood restaurant and we are spoilt for choice.
However, right infront of the hotel entrance are a row of EV charging station and there are many cars parking there to charge. Opposite the hotel is an abundant building which seem like a stop in construction work.
Rooms are clean, there are rooms of same category which are very spacious and there are rooms that are very small. We booked 4 rooms and we are given a few combination of rooms. One of the room is so small that could hardly place 2x28” luggage in the room, we took it because we only stay for 1 night. Hotel lobby is nothing fanciful. I will not come back to the same hotel again. There is no WOW factor during our stay.

2、早上起來房間地面很潮濕
3、一樓的 海景房晾衣架很小，對於在海邊玩水玩沙的人來説，換洗衣服的話，就沒有地方晾曬了
4、沒有停車場，車衹能貼在外面牆邊停（如果開的車比較大，會不太方便、因為路邊也很窄）

❤️紅：民宿是一整個建築羣，作為特色傳統體驗推薦，風景獨特，人流量少。
‼️黑：附近沒有商業，需要自駕前往，衞生條件一般，上觀景台和下到海邊都需要爬山。
🚘交通：酒店就在貓頭墘徒步梯起始點，自駕上山比較推薦，停車位有限但住客有預留，上山路窄，遇到節假日可能堵車，最好錯峯或晚些上山。
🏞觀景：民宿即可觀海看山，但是日出日落需要爬到山上觀景台，也有山脈遮擋，山上燈光不多，觀星也很合適。（P5為山頂俯瞰建築羣效果、P6為往山頂觀景台途中風景）
🔦服務：民宿工作人員很熱情，會接到房間門口交代注意事項，提供觀景建議，也有提供驅蚊水，退房時還送了一份伴手禮。
🏚軟硬件：有網有WIFI，入住送現做咖啡/飲品。住宿其他硬件一般，床品和毛巾會有小蟲子和一些未知顆粒物，但整個民宿很明顯是原生態住宅改造，整體環境可以接受，我是用自己的衣服墊上，如果對衞生要求比較高的慎重考慮。
