This guesthouse has beach chairs where you can just lie back and watch the strong winds, which was incredibly relaxing. "I stayed here for three days and two nights. The views were different on each floor, and the scenery varied greatly. I appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness and am leaving this review now from the high-speed train. Reasons for a positive review: 1. Free pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed train station! A must-have for those without a car. 2. The room faces the sea and green trees, with a cozy little courtyard right outside the door. Waking up to warmth is like being surrounded by a welcoming atmosphere. The front desk proactively provided detailed travel guides (they also offer car hire for photoshoots, and the photographers are amazing!). The housekeeper even helped us when we couldn't get a taxi. 3. The room was clean and refreshing, perfect for taking photos! They even had latex pillows—the materials were solid and high-quality. Those who appreciate rustic and natural styles will be pleasantly surprised. Many of the paintings were done by the manager. 4. When we encountered a problem in the room, the front desk staff quickly came to resolve it. It felt like they treated the place like home and us like guests staying at their home—very attentive. 5. The breakfast was delicious! The wonton wrappers made by the auntie were very similar to Cantonese wontons—thin and delicious. The breakfast was plentiful, like a delicate set meal, with steamed buns, eggs, a main dish, and one day some fried food. The restaurant auntie asked us which day we had breakfast; apparently, she's a kind lady who doesn't like to serve the same breakfast twice. 6. While sitting in the lobby, the staff proactively asked if we needed tea. We even chatted a bit after getting to know each other better on the second night. 7. Welcome fruit – peaches, super sweet! 8. There was also the dog, Duoduo, who went to work in the morning; when it saw people calling, it meant it was very happy. And there was the British Shorthair cat that came for dinner and then left. Although this island is a bit far for me from Guangdong, I could relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city here. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting; it's very welcoming."

"Sad to admit I didn't felt comfortable at the hostel. Stayed in 4 people male dorm room - very small with missing keys to the lockers inside the room. Beds were clean and comfortable, AC working. Hostel feel run down and corridors and especially elevator need refurbishment. Common space felt like someone's office, good to eat noodles but not to relax. Bathroom is quite small too, humid and with some broken facilities. Looking at their solo rooms when leaving, if I book separate room, my stay would be much better, they really look comfortable Staff is genuinely helpful and accommodating"

"The location is a bit out of the way, so it's best if you have a car, which luckily we did rent. The hotel staff and manager were all incredibly helpful and friendly. We even got a discount at the Haagen-Dazs downstairs with our room key! Everyone greeted us politely when we came and went, which made us feel really welcome. We had a fantastic few days in Pingtan and will definitely stay here again next time. The guys at the pool were excellent; as soon as they saw our kids, they immediately started blowing bubbles and even arranged paddleboards for them. The kids had an absolute blast! The only downside was that the pool area had no shade, so it got pretty sunny. Overall, I'd give it an average of 5 stars. A slightly more elaborate breakfast would make it even better."
