Everything is really good, it’s right beside the sea, balcony has a nice view of the sea, bed was comfortable, shower facilities are really nice with a bathtub and good soap. They even gave drip coffee packets! Really such a steal for the price. 7-11 is right beside so you can get your supper fixes here 😋
Keep in mind their check in timing is by 2100!

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

PPengguna TetamuVery good service of reception. Helped to booked car back to highspeedrail station as buses stop running cos of typhoon. Reception also gave recommendation to places to eat and where is still open. Helped to check if its still open as well.
Room is very clean. Spacious. We got a free upgrade to ocean view room.
Although typhoon disrupted our plans, this hostel definitely made it alot better. No complains. Feel well rested too.

PPengguna TetamuI was travelling with my mom who was travelling to Taiwan for the first time. The location of this place was near the beach and a lovely restaurant that we loved although it was a bit out of the way from the larger tourist towns (we just took the bus or a taxi when we needed to see sights). They were making repairs while we were there as it was the slow season so it did smell a bit like paint which bothered my mother but I can't fault them for that. The real star of the property was the owner. A lovely lady who took such good care of us while there and allowed us to pick our room because she had many open at the time she is amazing. We loved talking to her, and she even helped us heat up our leftovers one night when we needed a quick dinner. We talked about travel and all kinds of other topics. She was so kind and helpful every step of the way.

AAnnaTsangStayed at Secretpath Bed and Breakfast and had a great experience. The location is convenient and easy to get around. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The public area is cozy and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. They also offer free laundry facilities, with the dryer costing only 30 TWD, which is super convenient for travelers. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay.

JJoyce KaesBig, clean room. We could rent electrical scooters via the hotel. The swimming pool was ideal for kids or to sit in to cool down. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone. The hotel also picked us up from the harbour.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaNo bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.
