WWendThe hotel is new and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool is spacious and clean. The room comes with an amazing view of the mountains. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. There’s also afternoon tea with an amazing fruit platter and the night drink. We had an amazing experience! Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuDe Vivre Daizhai Hotel is more than just a hotel…it is an experience. From the moment you arrive you’ll be treated like royalty and made to feel like part of the family. Nothing is too much effort for Elva and her friendly team.  The beautiful boutique hotel is exquisitely designed down to the last detail, and for keen photographers it’s a dream come true. The surroundings are stunning, and the hotel provides a pocket of peace while still being conveniently located and close  enough to the beach.  This is by far my favourite place I’ve stayed in a long time on all of my travels, and I would come back next weekend if I could! Highly recommended for a weekend, or week, in Wanning!

PPengguna TetamuI only spent 5 days at Roots, but I left the place with so many memories that it felt like much longer. The owners, Shuiku and XiaoXiao, are incredibly nice and welcoming: they helped me find a great surf coach, indicated where to get good food and where to surf the best waves (we even surfed together a few times!). They really made sure that everyone at the hostel had a good time: for Chinese New Year, we had a home cooked Chinese New Year dinner for friends and guests. It was lovely. I only speak a tiny bit of Chinese, but this was no problem, as both the owners and many of the guests spoke English. Finally, apart from the nice people, the hostel itself is very comfortable to stay at: it’s clean, in a calm location surrounded by rice fields and cute coffee shops, and only a 5-10min scooter ride to the beach. I hope I can make it back to Roots one day, I already miss it!

The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

LLilykong000English: If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, I highly recommend booking a family room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go. Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. It was the perfect balance — peaceful and quiet at night, without any noise disturbance. The nighttime atmosphere is especially charming — calm, romantic, and truly relaxing. Also, don’t forget to be kind and take care of XiangShu! The cutest puppy from the homestay! 中文： Gift Seaview Homestay 真的可以说是日月湾数一数二的好民宿，风景如画，让人一住就爱上。 如果是带宝宝或小朋友出行，强烈建议订家庭房。房间空间很大，住起来非常舒适。我们原本只订了一间一张床的房型，老板非常贴心，直接免费帮我们升级到了家庭房，真的很惊喜，也很感动。 民宿的地理位置很好。虽然不是步行就能到海边，但站在民宿就能一眼看到大海，而且实际距离海边也非常近。出行完全不用担心，民宿有接送小车，微信群里说一声，小哥小妹马上就到，想去哪都很方便。 因为带着孩子，民宿位置离酒吧一条街稍微远一点，反而刚刚好。晚上非常安静，不会被吵到，睡眠质量很好。 夜晚的景色尤其迷人，安静中带着浪漫，特别适合放松心情、慢慢享受度假的感觉。 千万不要忘记好好对待享墅（狗狗）！ 明年一定还会再来住这里！

CCanyueruxue第三次選擇入住，依然是因為這裏無可挑剔的服務和環境。所有房間都面朝大海，陽台超大，孩子帶着滑板都能玩得開；客廳也很寬敞，配有十人帶轉盤的圓桌，自己做飯特別有氛圍。這次家庭旅行想試試火鍋，買完食材剛清洗好，插電就跳了兩次閘。管家第一時間趕來排查，發現是我們自帶的電磁爐短路了，還特意把自己做飯用的電磁爐拿來給我們用——真的太感謝了，讓我們的晚餐得以繼續。 不過相比前兩次入住，這次明顯感覺傢俱老化得厲害，陽台椅子和高腳凳都出現了生銹、褪皮的情況。如果這方面能做些改善，就真的完美了。希望下次再來時能看到更好的細節。

PPengguna TetamuThe vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one … When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own. In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho. The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
