★★★★★ BEST STAY EVER - STAFF MADE MY FATHER FEEL SAFE AND CARED FOR! My father traveled alone for this stay and was so impressed that he made me promise to write the best review I could. They were always on hand to help with anything he needed - booking taxis, suggesting suitable local restaurants that were easy to get to, and checking in on him daily to ensure he was doing well. He said he never felt alone or worried during his stay, which meant the world to our family. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but it’s the outstanding, personalized care from the staff that made this experience truly exceptional. He’s already planning his next trip back! Highly recommend for solo travelers, especially seniors - you couldn’t ask for better support and service.

I came to Wanning with no expectations or plans, I was on a short layover in Hainan and decided to spend one night here. My stay even for one night was nothing short of amazing. The hosts Cicy and Jerry welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel right at home, the room was in pristine condition and felt very personalised and inviting. The place itself was nothing short of superb, but the real highlight was the hospitality offered by the hosts Cicy and Jerry. They knew I was staying only for one day, so they planned a full 1 day itinerary for my time here. I was given suggestions on activities in the surrounding area, and I was driven around by them to some authentic beatiful locations such as a coffee plantation and local restaurant. They made me feel like I was home away from home, even in a country that is so diffferent to my own (England). I can recommend anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic retreat in this area to come here, and I will certainly be coming back. Thankyou Cicy and Jerry.

The location was good, the traffic can be pretty bad at peak times coming on and off the island, the apartment has great views but it’s a little dated. We watched a movie and the TV started smoking, they removed it and left us with no TV, which was a little disappointing. Overall we had a nice time.

這家Harbor民宿真的絕了～ 推門見海，出門就是浪點，早起抱着板子走兩步就能沖早浪，懶人狂喜！房間是簡約ins風，超乾淨，陽台直接看海景日出，隨手拍都出片📸 老闆人超nice，會根據浪況推薦浪點，還會偷偷告訴你本地人才知道的美食小店🍜 晚上在院子裏和新認識的浪友聊天喝酒看星星，氛圍感拉滿🌊✨ 已經準備二刷了，沖浪黨來萬寧直接鎖這家！

A perfect place to stay in Riyuewan Bay. Chuck and his lovely family are your caring hosts. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean with a cosy matress. Everything you need is in walking distance. Especially for me, the surfrental right infront of the place, the surfspots around the corner. Chuck helps you to arrange everything. From surfboard, transport, travel recommendations. The bunk bed was rock hard, and the thin “mattress” was filthy. The showers were falling apart, but there are also newer showers in the bathroom stalls which were usable. Wifi was incredibly slow, I could not load a single web page on my laptop. This is an absolutely gorgeous area, and there are a ton of cute cats and a cute golden retriever, which were a huge plus. The communal meals were also delicious and cheap. If you can put up with the hard beds and lack of cleanliness, and don’t need WiFi, this would be a great place for you. But I needed WiFi so I left this place after 2 nights.

The vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one … When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own. In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho. The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
