Cherie is an amazing host! She communicated fast and gave details for our late arrival check in and everything was indeed as planned. Our room (105) was most luxurious and beds comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and spa bath to pamper ourselves after long drives. The Sails is definitely top tiered among the hotels in Nelson, with easy access to nearby sights and walking distance to many eating places. we give our strong recommendations to everyone who's stopping by to book this place!

This hotel would have got 5 star from me for every aspect if not for its mess over my bill. The hotel, in all fairness, is really good. It’s clean, reasonably spacious, and it’s tastefully decorated. More importantly, it has everything! All kitchen ware, washing machine, dryer, etc etc all in the room itself. Perfect for us who are on a long travel itinerary. Highly recommended. However, after I checked out, they charged me for the nights that I’ve already prepaid. When I got in touch by email, no response. By phone, the receptionist said she couldn’t do anything. Only the manager could handle it and he/she only comes on Sundays. On Sunday, I couldn’t get through the phone. So I’m getting help from a Trip.com agent. So far, this matter is still hanging. Hopefully it can be resolved soon and the overcharge can be refunded.

Beautiful large one bedroom unit, very clean, has two TV s(one in bedroom). Large bathroom with a spa bath, good shower. Kitchenette has everything you need for simple cooking. Bed is comfortable, electrical blanket is a plus. City view from balcony and mountain views from front verandah are very pleasing. Lovely friendly host lady makes our stay even more enjoyable. Location is central as well, easy drive/walk in and out. Loved it. Highly recommended.

房間乾淨整潔，户外視野也不錯，房間很舒服，位置也不錯，户外還有一個小的游泳池。服務也很熱情周到，唯一不足的是在飛機航道下面，飛機飛過會有聲音，但是尼爾森本來飛機也不多，影響不是太大。

The owner Harry was very good and friendly. Room was clean and modern. Basic cooking amenities provided. Pots and pans. Only comment is the shower curtain should be longer to avoid shower water spread all over the toilet

Friendly staff, showed us to our room. Everything you could want. Bed and pillows comfortable . Unusual shower controls, not great pressure. Close to take away places, like McDonalds and KFC.

We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment. We received excellent communication before our arrival, which made check-in extremely smooth. The apartment had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. It is very close to the centre of town (about 2 minutes) with lots of restaurants and shops within easy reach. It is also only a 15 minute drive from the airport. Highly recommended!

Good motel, beds are comfy, room is clean & spacious. All the utilities are clean. Good locations to everywhere. Would come back again next time in the future Happy with the motel. Thank you 🙂

We booked a 2 room cabin, the place was quiet that was nice but the place wasn't clean a dirty oven try left in the oven! Plates with crumbs on them! The bathroom fan didn't work so the cabin was super super damp, no soaps or shampoo dispensers were all empty! The bathroom and toilet door didn't close properly or quietly. The main bedroom must have a leak somewhere it rained on the last day and the carpet in the morning was super wet along the window. Couches were uncomfortable feels like it pushes you head forward and the TV had no Internet connection to watch Netflix like advertised. The place is very run down and needs a really really good clean! The accommodation was close to town and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this place spend an extra $100 and stay somewhere else
