The room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice. PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. Отличный отель! Очень добрый и вежливый персонал, особенно администратор (или она владелец). Есть хороший бассейн, прокат байков прям в отделе, с трансфером до пирса помогли и даже купили билет на Пхи-Пхи через стойку в отеле. В общем нам понравилось.

Front desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location. Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal). Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage. One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time. Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day). Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program. Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach. Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay. Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better. Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded. Will I stay again? Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists. No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

Wonderful find. I spent hours trying to find rhe right place and I did. Rim Khao is a lovely little group of bungalows that back into the forest, but are conveniently on the main road and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. This is a brilliant place for a really good price. I spent hours watching the monkeys, ants, lizards, frogs, birds and butterflies that were very present. As I had no transport and only a walking budget, was limited where I went. But there was enough. The beach is beautiful for swimming and sunbathing. There is little shade, but if you walk to the end of the beach, theres a lot more shade there. If tou are happy to scramble the rocks, there is plenty of wildlife there too....fish, a billion crabs and brazen seabirds.there are plenty of restaurants, both local and tourist all just a stones throw away and the walking street is as good as any. The room was very quiet with air con and a fan that were efficient. The hot water was plentiful in the shower and cleaners were operating every day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and English was really strong which of course is always appreciated , but never expected. The pool is more of a plunge pool, but thats all i personally ever need. You may consider it needs a bit of tlc, but it didnt bother me. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the road could barely be heard.just remember that the call to prayer can be heard almost everywhere. Oh, and a 7/eleven right next door. Amazing, and i hope to go back.

In the middle stretch of the island, if you prefer a quieter spot. Accessible if you are able to ride motorbike to explore other parts, otherwise tuktuk could be expensive to go around @300bht/couple or so. However, a 5-7mins walk out to a short street of food, massage, mini mart & bakery, good for our short stay. Nice clean, comfortable & spacious villa of various type. We stayed nearest to the frontal row towards road/concierge, a walk-up pool & forest facing. There are other larger villas nearer beachfront restaurant/another pool or facing the beach. Beachfront is very short stretch, private & rocky beach. Nice & relaxing view within the hotel area but not to be explored out from the beach. Low season during our stay was not overcrowded but when all the guests stayed in, may face a shortage of deck chairs; we brought our towel to lay by the beach instead.

There is breakfast, it is a case, the environment is very good, very feeling, very quiet, the beach is beautiful, the sunset is super beautiful, the hotel rents a motorcycle is very convenient, 250 plants solve the traffic problem one day.

We stayed over NYE in a Deluxe Villa. It was great for the 2 of us. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and House keeping came everyday and cleaned the room, changed towels and topped up the glass bottled water. This place is on an island- there will be insects and bugs! They didn’t bother us. Shower pressure was good, there was ample of hot water and the bathroom size was good! We had stayed in a standard room before NYE and then came back to Royal Lanta after staying in Ko Phi Phi. The staff really make this place- always friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile if you show basic manners and respect. In the short time we were gone the sun lounger mattresses and umbrellas had an upgrade and on NYE all guests received a thank you letter and bottle of wine. The resort does need some improvements but overall we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were awesome and we would stay here again during peak time.

Die Lage war perfekt. Und ja es ist minimalistisch aber genau das was ich eben gesucht habe. Es war sehr sauber und ruhig. Richtig schönes Bungalow. Gerne wieder.

We traveled as a family with young children and stayed at Chomview Koh Lanta. The room was spacious and big enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which was very convenient for our family. However, there were several issues during our stay. The walkway to the room had no lighting at night, which felt unsafe, especially when traveling with children. We also experienced water shortages, and the room had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. The location is quite far from the main road, so transportation is necessary to get around. This may not be convenient for families without their own vehicle. On a positive note, the staff hospitality was good and they were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel has good room size and kind staff, but improvements are needed in maintenance, lighting, and water supply.

Hotel ini terletak dengan baik dan berpusat untuk meneroka pulau. Malangnya, hotel ini tidak diselenggara dengan baik. Untuk kemudahan seperti ini, pekerja tidak mencukupi untuk memberikan perkhidmatan yang baik. Hanya ada sarapan pagi dan anda tidak boleh mendapatkan apa-apa lagi untuk dimakan atau diminum di hotel. Bersebelahan dengan hotel terdapat restoran pantai kecil dengan makanan dan minuman yang lazat, yang menjadikan penginapan anda lebih mudah. Kolam renangnya besar dan bersih, tetapi tiada payung, jadi anda perlu berjemur di bawah sinar matahari atau kembali ke bar pantai. Bilik-bilik tidak dibersihkan sepanjang penginapan kami; kami terpaksa menukar baldi tandas sendiri dan meminta tuala segar. Sungguh memalukan bahawa kemudahan yang begitu indah telah dibiarkan merosot seperti ini. Kakitangan berusaha keras, tetapi tidak dapat berbuat banyak kerana kekurangan masa dan tenaga kerja.
