CChristianI arrived a bit earlier, but my room was not ready. Okay, I can understand that. Going to the bell desk they tell me I need to pay when I get my luggage. Once I got my luggage, no one asked me to pay. I had a breakfast included but was leaving too early: of course, they do not provide lunch boxes, although they do sell them. The service is rather bad for a 300$ room.

MMarianne TanHotel located near the National Mall and many of the Smithsonian museums. It’s 3 mins away from the Museum of the Bible. It’s in a quiet area with minimal restaurants and cafe. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good with free coffee and tea throughout the day and night.

Передо мной было 5 человек! У номеров уродский дизайн, на полу ламинат без ковра. Звукоизоляция плохая - было слышно, как у соседей лаяла собака. Уровень обслуживания и комфорт в номере не соит уровня 4 звезд и тех денег, которые за него приходится платить.

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill.

PPengguna TetamuGreat location and easy to walk to all important buildings and monuments. Breakfast was really, really good. Only one thing, and I’m not sure if this comes from hotel policy or a policy for the city of DC as a whole. But you pay $100 deposit per day, $5 per day isn’t returned to you, and $30 of it you must spend inside the hotel per day. If you don’t spend $30 a day in hotel, you lose that money. I didn’t like this as it forced me to have dinner at the hotel a few times when, as a tourist, I’d like to eat outside as I’ve heard DC’s food scene is really nice. If this is a city policy my apologies to the hotel but either way travelers will want to know this so I’ll put it here. But my stay was nice.

PPengguna TetamuI did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.
