It's Value For Money. The hotel is within walking distance from SM Asia Mall. Very convenient. Also the hotel is just few kilometres away from airport. It is convenient to those who has a domestic flight to catch.

Upon arrival in the room, I realised that there wasn't a working desk to do my work. Hence, I have to upgrade to a suite for PHP2000 a night. Breakfast weren't the best, but good enough for what you paid for. Room amenities were basic. The housekeeping kept forgetting to replace the towels after cleaning my room, and that's annoying. Shower weren't hot enough but acceptable. Room doesn't have any coffee, but they do give green teabags (with sugar, stirrer, and creamer, who uses creamer with green tea?? LOL) The location was good. Easy access to a lot of places and airport. Chinese food on the ground floor was delicious.

The building is not well-maintained; the layout iw confusing. The room is clean and spacious. The pool water is dirty.

We stayed for two days. Check in/ check out process not that organized. Rooms that we’ve stayed not that comfortable especially the beddings we experienced itchiness, we also reported this to the house keeping. Restaurants inside the hotel were good and yummy.

We decided to celebrate Christmas day at this hotel. Our room was located at a corner of the 3rd floor. The window view isn’t great because of creepy forest-like vacant lot beside the hotel and also it is beside a wide cement wall which blocks the left side view. The bed linen is itchy and also found a bed bug. Wall papers are too old and room has old wet wood odor. Overall the room is not well maintained and appliances are outdated. The in-room food selections and service are good and very affordable. Food taste and quality are all good too. The breakfast buffet at Christmas day had a very long queues. We patiently waited for about 30 minutes standing before we could finally dine in. Replenishment of food is quite slow but their food selections are wide and the food quality and taste are all good. After Christmas day, the buffet breakfast is not that crowded anymore. This is my honest observation based on my current stay here at Golden Phoenix Hotel. I hope for major improvements in your hotel rooms. Thanks

Very close to MOA/ conrad hotel. Accessible and basic hotel. Old rooms may need some improvements and renovations but the beds are very comfortable and aircon is cold. Basic inexpensive hotel with buffet breakfast that is okay also. Big beds if you have kids sleeping in.

Honestly, we were a bit disappointed with the suite. Hard tile floors and different than what was in the photos. We paid extra for an early check in around noon. We went back and forth about the deposit as I only had RMB and they didn't offer currency exchange. I persisted and finally they agreed. There was no direct elevator to the suite. Instead you engage in a small maze of two elevators or an escalator then around the corner. Front desk did not offer any direction about this. We had a hefty room service bill as we took most of our meals there with very little options nearby. It's rare that my reviews are less than positive but I would not return, especially considering all the other options in Manilla.

**Review of Phoenix Hotel Manila** I recently stayed at Phoenix Hotel Manila and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I checked in around 2:45 AM, and from the start, the receptionist was unfriendly and did not provide a warm welcome. I had booked a room with a city view, but when I opened the curtains, I was shocked to find a view of the parking ramp instead. When I called the receptionist to inquire about this, her explanation—that the hotel was fully booked—was unacceptable, as my reservation clearly specified a city view. Additionally, the room itself had an unpleasant odor and was poorly maintained. Essential items like paper towels were missing, and the paper provided on the table resembled scratch paper, which is not what I expected from a hotel of this standard. Overall, I felt that my stay did not provide the value for money.I hope the management takes these issues seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

I got the older room at 2nd floor and it’s older room than my friend who got 1 room at 4th floor .
