"This is by far the most beautiful hostel I've stayed at in the Philippines. It's literally comparable to hostels in Japan!! ♥️ The kitchen, the room and the common areas are very clean. It looks like a hotel except there are other people in the room with me. The lockers are big enough to store my luggage and other important things. The common area has a separate eating/dining area and a ”quiet room” for those who work remotely. The bathrooms have a lot of toiletr cubicles and shower room, it even has 2 changing rooms. I am beyond amazed! Lastly, the staff are amazing even the guards outside. Kudos to everyone!! 😍 i would definitely stay here again!"

"I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport. Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues."

"I had a wonderful stay. The place gives a homey vibe, and the staff were so accomadating and friendly as well.They offered breakfast and you will also get entertained by their resident cats😺. I would love to recommend this place to my friends to stay at as it is so accessible to the airport."

"The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. I like the interiors. It feels like you were in the old era, or should I say in the Spanish era. The room is clean. It has a window. The bathroom has complete toiletries. It has a bathtub too. The hotel provides coffee, creamer, and tea. The bed is soft. I slept well. The location is good too. It is near the World Trade Center. The staff are great. They are very accommodating, respectful, and nice. The food is great too. You can also request for a packed breakfast of your choice from their menu list if you do not like the buffet breakfast. We also had the chance to sing with the singer of the night at the second floor. Overall experience was great. The accommodation is a value for.koney too. Thank you"

"I purchased this hotel room for my sister-in-law who had a next day flight and it was amazing. You call them to get picked up at the airport and they offer drop-off service too. The van used to bring you is a fancy Benz. Overall, a great experience!!! P.S. My 6-year old nephew said it looks like the hotel is made of gold🤭"
