We were very much lured in by the allure of a 4* hotel in an area that was quite expensive but given the premium that you pay for such a hotel I can say wholeheartedly it is not worth it. The hair dryer in the room had no filter which meant that it trapped hair constantly. However, the biggest issue was with the shower leaking profusely to the point that it flooded the entire room. Upon alerting the receptionist, who did not seem phased in the slightest, we were handed a stack of towels and left to deal with it ourselves. The flooding caused a significant amount of damage to both an already damaged room and our personal property which can only lead me to conclude that this was not the first time that this occurred. The door strip threshold was damaged to begin with but the leaking of the shower meant that the bathroom door did not even close. The room was not as described and the rooms look like nothing like the pictures. The location of the hotel is isolated with no transport links which means any potential savings you may have made on the hotel you end up spending substantially more on taxis. The hotel was unbothered by this and not only were we given the wrong email to send our concerns to but they responded essentially defending the fact that they were 4*s and there was nothing we could do as we did not report it at the time, however if they read my email correctly they would have seen that we did. I did not want to leave a negative review but the hotel has left me with no choice but to do so as they have not adequately responded to my concerns despite giving them ample opportunity to do so. I do believe that the apathy of the supposed director of the hotel shows that this establishment is run clinging to its 4* status and does not believe that the product the provide has to match this status. I do hope that this honest review with pictures will deter other travellers from staying here as it is not worth the aggravation and upset.

Everything not acceptable for a hotel this size (a) Attitude of the staff, bordering on being ****** (b) Ineptitude in changing the room when complained about blocked basin (c) lack of adequate number of staff to attend to our minimal requirements (d) although a Spa- no access during decent morning time citing Covid as an excuse and a charge of EUR 10 (e) cold breakfast, seemed catered from outside with no intention of making anything nice (f) Dinner time only one guy taking orders and delivering in a haphazard manner as if working was too difficult (g) strange room layout, separating each of WC, bath, shower, and basin thus no sense of privacy, dignity eor hygiene as the WC glass door is the partial height
