Veda5 Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat

Wonderful stay at a special resort in the mountain above Rishikesh. Fantastic food and wonderful service - especially from Yogi Nagi, Aarti our waitress and chef Divendra in the restaurant and Maju in the treatment centre. Well done Sanjay!

Our first visit to a yoga retreat and we can't wait to return. We overlapped with some of the other reviewers below and we corroborate everything they say about this wonderful resort nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a little slice of paradise that enveloped us in its holistic care and attention to our wellbeing. Ritesh, Rahul, Ira and Neeraj 💝 featured highly in our fabulous experience too, as well as Devendra the chef and Dinesh the very careful and reliable driver. Arati ( I hope I've spelled that right) in the dining room went out of her way to help by making coffee for anyone who wanted it at breakfast and just the way they liked it and gave us directions to walk to the temple at the top of the hill. By the end of the week, as a result of the daily yoga, delicious food, treatments and sunshine we felt healthier than we have in a long time. Oh, and not forgetting the laughter shared with staff and other guests. We met so many wonderful people in our week's stay. It was such a joy, sharing our experiences over meals each day and linking up for trips together. I can't praise the experience highly enough. Keep doing what you're doing Veda5, you've got something really special there!

The location of Veda 5 is beautiful. The rooms are all surrounded by breath-taking views of the mountains. The staff are all so welcoming and so very helpful. A shout out to Rahul & his Team in the restaurant who went out of their way to serve the delicious banquet of food made by the amazingly talented chefs. Another shout out to Naveen & the staff at the Ayurvedic treatment centre. Manju, was the therapist who looked after me & she was extremely professional. The yoga teachers, reception staff, cleaning staff, gardeners & maintenance staff were all friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Veda 5 to anyone looking for a spiritual retreat to unwind and rejuvenate. Thank you Veda5 from Bhavna.

Great place, excelent and friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful therapies. Definitely a must go and stay retreat, outside Rishkesh but yet close by. It is quiet, you can hear the sound of the birds, wind and be part of nature while watching stunning views.

This was our first visit to India, without any special expectation... But! It was GREAT! Veda5 is a very clean Retreat in every aspect: room, kitchen, restaurant, yoga hall, treatment rooms, garden...everything. Our room was beautifully cozy with nice terrasse. Veda5 is situated on the hillside with beautifully designed garden, pool (was not working during our stay), outside gym, etc. The view from Veda5 is wonderful, too. The food was excellent, and the main Chef Devendra Negi is a great guy - always ready to meet your special wishes (as long as it does not include Lamb chops 😊). We found it very important because in Veda5 comes people from all around the World with different cultures and taste. Not all Indian tastes are common worldwide 😊. But all meals made by The Chef are super healthy and he led cooking classes to teach you. Generally, all Veda5 staff are outstanding individuals and professionals. All our requests and needs were fulfilled in the best manner by charming Mr Abhvdav Sindgh and beautiful Lady Itara (pronounced Arti – like Hindu ceremony). All staff are supervised and led by Mr Rahul Patil (The Captain – The Legend). Regarding the treatment, therapists Mrs Neeraj, Mr Luvprasad and Mr Rishabh are top professionals, and they made us younger at least 10 years 😊. They are extended arms for Dr Ravi Joshi, the main doctor in Veda5. Dr Joshi radiates with confidence and the knowledge to solve almost any health problem. Yoga and meditation were real revelation for me. Mrs. Ira and Yogi Gajendra Negi are on another level. Thanks to them yoga and meditation will be an important part of my future life. The way Mrs. Ira performs OM sound - I will remember for the rest of my life... it is not possible to describe... you have to hear it... Our driver and tour guide Mr Dinesh Negi showed us Rishikesh in the most interesting way. We were on the trip to Kunjapuri Temple to wait for sunrise, too. Wow, what an experience! Mr Dinesh is very patient and attentive, and he helped us to understand hundreds of scenes ***** the way… very, very informative and useful.
