We love staying here , everything is great but we stayed last night , they have a microwave In your room but no. Plates or cutlery and ice ! Hotels stopped doing ice when we were in covid time , can we bring back ice , some people like drinks with ice when they stay in a hotel , miss the ice 😁

We arrived in Perth at 2.30am and got a taxi straight from the airport. As it was in the middle of the night we had to press a buzzer and wait for someone to speak to us through the speaker, however they were either asleep or could not be bothered, so pressed the buzzer for a long time, finally someone came over the speaker which was distorted and they were telling me off for leaving my finger on the buzzer, they let us in and again he started telling us off about the buzzer, we totally ignored him stating our name and how many nights we were stating, i think he finally got the idea gave us a key and vouchers to get our breakfast. We just went to bed and viewed the room in the morning. Definitely needs redecorating, bed seem to go go slightly downhill head as we felt our feet were higher than our heads, pillows were flat, we had a sheet then a duvet which was had seen better days and needs a new one and then a top sheet. Bathroom was basic, did have a shower although it made some strange nosies and the temperature was up and down, no plug in the hand basin, there were toiletries which we never used. Breakfast was very basic, just some cold meats, cold hard boiled egg, salad and toast. If you wanted cook you had to pay along with Croissants, pain au raisin etc. Reception staff during the day were pleasant and very helpful, always had a smile. Getting around it was in a good position to get around the city, it was close to the Freebus service called the cat service which you can hop on and off at any time. Would we stay again - No - there's plenty of hotels in Perth .

The hotel is conveniently located, and the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
We were a group of 12 and when we requested extra bottled water, the staff brought it to us with hesitation. There's also a nearby kebab spot thats definitely worth trying!
The only downsides were the lack of soft-closing doors and poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear other guest opening and closing doors loudly, and even conversations or arguments from the neighbouring room.
Despite these minor issues, i still highly recommend the hotel due to its outstanding service!

We wanted accommodation close to the Arena and this was perfect. The staff, cleanliness, breakfast, accessible bathroom, were all great. Shame about the comfort level of the bed and couch. The bed rolled into the middle big time and was very low. The couch was extremely low making it unusable for a person especially with a disability. They had obviously not thought about this aspect of useability only the bathroom to make it an accessible rating. We would stay again but not in that room and we would enquire about the comfort of the furniture.

Loved our one night staycay at ritz carlton. We arrived early and were able to check in early with no fuss. When I booked there were no rooms left with a king bed and river view so had to book 2 doubles but I requested it upon check in and they sorted it for us. The room was amazing, fantastic views, very spacious, clean and modern The pool area is great, we ordered lunch and cocktails that we had poolside in the sun Went back to our room and there was a bottle of bubbly in there with a note to someone else for their anniversary which was a little strange. We were there for my husbands birthday and there was no mention of that even though I made them aware so maybe they got their notes mixed up. We ate in hearth restaurant which was delicious, although service could have been quicker!! The songbird bar was lovely- will definitely return there Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. We couldn’t order items; it was buffet only which was disappointing initially but the quality of the buffet items made up for it. We were able to continue using the facilities after check out. Wish the sauna and hydro therapy pools were not gender segregated

The staff at The Sebel West Perth were friendly and efficient. While not overly luxurious, the hotel's lobby and common areas were tidy and well-maintained. The check-in process was quick, and the staff was readily available to address any inquiries.
The rooms, though basic, were clean and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. While the furnishings were not the most modern, they served their purpose. The bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep after a day of exploring the city.
The hotel's location was undoubtedly its strongest selling point. Being situated right in the city center meant easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. This convenience allowed me to make the most of my time in the city without spending much on transportation.

I have stayed at the hotel over the past 15 years and it has gradually become a little run down here and there but the worst change is the service, nobody has a smile or greets you as a guest, your just another inconvenience for them. I stayed in a ”Deluxe” King room last week and the Bathroom was dirty and the Shower over Bath is a disgrace (see photo). I don't think I'll be staying again until some marked improvements have been made.

I am giving this hotel an average rating because there are some very good points about the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The good: Great location, spacious rooms, massive spa bath fits two people easily. Comfy beds. 2 TV's. 2 Air con units. Very quiet despite being next to the freeway. Well fitted out with everything you need. Good amenities on site eg heated pool, sauna, secure parking. The bad: First up got double charged for my room as I had already paid through Booking.com. Secondly after about 1 hour the main aircon which is basically in the middle of the room started leaking water all over the floor, we put a rubbish bucket under it and called the management. Some guy came up and told us that there was nothing he could do because it was a Saturday and the hotel was fully booked. He admitted that it was a known problem. Unfortunately we had to put up with it and the leak changed ends a couple of times and thwarted our attempts to catch all the water. Also the level of cleanliness leaved a lot to be desired. This is not a 4 star hotel. There were crumbs all over the stove top from the previous tenants, rips in the curtains and some stains on the furniture, and the general condition of fixtures was poor for example the silicon around the basin in the bathroom was loose and falling out. General cleanliness was also poor. Probably would not stay again.

PPengguna TetamuThe Westin could be everything you’d want from a great city hotel in a brand new curated precinct with restaurants and bars, let down completely by the incompetence and complete apathy of the staff. The exception was the front desk, with quick friendly service but beyond that it was completely amateur and haphazard. The room service was spotty everyday, and on 2 days the room was not made up, every other day the room coffee cups, milk or spoons or coffee pods or sugar or milk was not replaced or towels not provided. You’d think service staff have a checklist, should be easy right!? The lobby cafe in the hotel called Haven was more like Hell, I had to dedicate a separate review for that as the service was non existent, appalling. Garum again has so much potential, alas the service is astonishingly haphazard, food not delivered, 30 minutes to bring my wine, served up after my meal. Frankly the staff have no idea, the poor manager made up for it, but he is terribly let down by his team, who don’t seem to miss an opportunity to disappoint. Wow so much potential absolutely wasted by something very fixable, if you can’t change the people then change the people! There was clearly a lack of middle management. The porters at the door were equally incompetent or inexperienced, I fumbled my way through the two large entrance doors, and after I made my way through, there was a feeble attempt by one if the porters that lifted his head up from his phone to assist with my hand luggage into my car, he seemed so pleased with himself that he was my knight in shining armour, hopeless. Come on Westin, prove me wrong, really I want this fantastic hotel to succeed in my neighbourhood, I want to recommend you to my colleagues and friends but fix your rubbish service!! Until then I can’t recommend you, I have a reputation to protect something you should care about as well.

We arrived at the hotel at around 7pm, check in was a breeze, except that there is no porter to assist. We have many pieces of luggage but thankfully the receptionist. Jessica, helped us with the luggage before my husband was back from parking. Parking is a slight walk away and it is not very convenient.
Please give the breakfast a miss. Our room came with breakfast but the breakfast was so bad! Everything was hard and cold, there wasn’t even coffee like cap or flat white available. When we asked the waiter for it, we were not informed, but the coffee charges were billed to our room charge.

Frankly, I like the room layout but the housekeeping has some room of improvement to go. Though we turned on the ‘please clean the room’ button before leaving for the day, the room wasn’t cleaned until we called when we were back. We were told that room is only cleaned upon request! (But we did request for the whole day). The receptionist who answered the call offered to change the towel only but I insisted my room to be cleaned. When the housekeeping team arrived, he only changed the towel (and forgot the main bath towel) and no vacuuming was done at all. Conditioner was off as someone may have added water to the bottle but the housekeeping team did not check and refill properly too. (307)

PPengguna TetamuFrom the moment we arrived to the last second of our 2 night stay we were treated like royalty, the room was luxurious with well appointed amenities and soft luxurious bedding. The view is to die for looking out over perth city and the Swan River, and really is breathtaking of a night time. The hotel has a vast amount of thing to entertain you so realistically no need to leave, (and we didnt). Everything is within walking distance so it is very well situated. The pool area is divine with infinity pools and 2 jacuzzi's for those slightly cooler days. The bars and restaurants are excellent with a wide variety of food and drinks to satisfy every craving! Even if it is some dirty old mcdonalds haha. Overall this experience was a 6 star experience. Definitely one we will be doing again very soon in the future.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here for two nights after a 17 hour flight from London Heathrow to Perth after waiting more than one and half hours for our luggage we got a taxi to this hotel and the service was very good. We checked in and went to our room where there was tea and coffee available in the room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable as were the pillow up to the standard of Holiday Inn around the world. We went down to Ivy and Jack's which is attached to the hotel. The food was very good but more like share platters and good for the occasional drink rather than a main meal. I believe this is where they service the breakfast if you have a breakfast package with the hotel. This hotel is right in the heart of the city so close to everything but not a lot of restaurants to eat at during the dinner service. Most hotels seem to only service lunches or late afternoon snacks.

PPengguna TetamuStayed here for 3 nights, arriving after long flight from UK. No problem checking in, room in quiet location as requested. Some construction work going on at back of hotel, but nothing that disturbed me in the evening. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Corridor and room carpets could do with replacing, but I guess that is a big expense after the last few years. Breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of choice. The hot buffet was all fresh and frequently replenished. The young man in the restaurant (sorry I don't know your name), was very helpful and polite. Reception were helpful in booking a very early morning airport taxi for me, and on the morning of departure made certain that I safely got into my taxi. As a solo female traveller, it's the little details like that that mean so much. I would definitely return if i was visiting Perth again

We had a great and awesome stay. Love the service provided during our stay. Staff very helpful and very friendly. We will stay again very convenient for family especially the Jacobs Stair case. Great stay.

SShareTipsGood value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

PPengguna TetamuLoved this hotel. I was a little nervous about some of the review/descriptions describing it as shipping containers -- but once you are there, it just feels like any normal hotel. The rooms are compact, but totally sufficient. The design is great, beds are super comfortable, AC worked well, bathroom was really nice.
And the service was fantastic. It's a boutique hotel and you really felt the personal touch. They warmly greeted us on arrival, were happy to store our bags, gave all kinds of great advice, etc. On the morning of our check-out, we had to get an early start and hit the road at 7am (to catch the 7:30 ferry to Rottnest Island). Breakfast starts at 7am, so when we asked the night before if we could get some kind of to-go box, the lady at the front desk said she would just arrive a little early in the morning and have everything ready at 6:45 so we could eat something before we left the hotel. Amazing! They also let us just leave our suitcases in our room and said they would bring them down and store them at the front desk. We really felt like they actually cared about us and were willing to do whatever to make our stay great. Highly recommend!
