This cozy spot gave me withdrawal symptoms after I got home! I'll definitely be back! Even a workhorse like me was super happy and comfortable staying here. The landlady and her two cats (Lele and Qinqin) were just amazing. She picked up my friend and me in the early hours of the morning. As two 'P' type people (perceivers, meaning we didn't plan much), we basically arrived with no itinerary. The landlady sent us a complete guide for food, activities, and drinks. The guesthouse location is also super convenient. It's just a short walk to Patong Beach, making an evening stroll or watching the sunset incredibly easy. The night market and lively areas are also nearby, so you don't have to go far for local snacks and meals. There's a 7-Eleven just a few steps downstairs for water, snacks, and daily necessities anytime. After a full day of fun, you can just head downstairs for a massage and instantly recover. The best part was gathering with friends from different cultural backgrounds to eat, chat, drink, and play games. The landlady was incredibly hospitable. My 'alcoholic' friend even tried drinks they'd never had before, hahaha! And the next day, after a hangover, our food delivery arrived super quickly. The overall vibe was just fantastic; by the end, I really didn't want to leave. P.S.: Being street-facing, honestly, as a light sleeper, I'd usually find it hard to fall asleep, but I slept really well every night for days (I guess I was just having too much fun! 🥳)

Facilities: The in-room facilities, door, and TV were all very old, but there was air conditioning. Cleanliness: Very clean, and the bedding colors were vibrant. Environment: The surroundings were very noisy; I needed earplugs to sleep. Service: The landlady was very thoughtful and offered warm service, which felt very comforting.

I had a pleasant stay at Phuket So Sweet Home. The place was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The location is very convenient—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet enough to relax at night. The staff were welcoming and always ready to assist, which made my stay feel easy and stress-free. Overall, it’s a simple, budget-friendly option that offers good value for money in Phuket.

Even though the owner was very nice and the cats were well-behaved, to be honest, this was the worst accommodation experience ever. There's a huge gap between the quality and the nearly thousand-yuan daily room rate we paid. First, it's located right on a busy street, and the constant roar of motorcycles day and night, combined with the complete lack of soundproofing, led to extremely poor sleep quality. The owner's 'solution' of earplugs was completely useless. Second, it takes more than twenty minutes to walk to the beach, which is very inconvenient. The bathroom had no separation between wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were of such poor quality they were unusable. The bedding was mediocre, and despite being so expensive, breakfast wasn't included. Honestly, there's nothing positive to say; it felt like a total scam. If I had even ten seconds to experience it firsthand, I would never consider staying here, even if it were 100 yuan in the off-season or over 200 yuan during peak season. It was incredibly frustrating, the biggest letdown of our trip, and I hope this helps future travelers.

Your check-in dates were the 29th, 30th, and 31st, which are the most expensive days of the year in Phuket, with surrounding hotels averaging around 1,000 RMB. We believe you chose IKEA Inn, which is under 1,000 RMB, after comparing prices. The 31st is the busiest day of the year in Patong, as only Patong Beach hosts New Year's Eve activities. People stay in Patong because they enjoy the lively atmosphere. You returned before 10 pm that day and didn't attend the New Year's Eve party, so the noise outside was indeed unsettling. Our location is in a bustling area of ​​Patong, and because Thailand doesn't ban motorcycles and has a high rate of street racing, it's bound to be noisy, as I've mentioned in many other reviews (so we recommend that guests who prefer quiet and dislike shopping and parties avoid Patong Beach). IKEA Inn is 1.1 km from Patong Beach, a 16-minute walk, which you can check on a map; it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes (we assume you took a longer route). The bathroom doesn't have a separate shower and toilet, that's a fact. Because this building is an older structure, we can't change the basic features. While the toiletries are indeed of lower quality compared to similarly priced hotels in China during the off-season, what you might not know is that many hotels in Thailand don't provide toiletries at all. The ones we used were imported from China at a high price. Our mattresses and pillows are made of latex, and many guests have said they are very comfortable. It's also true that breakfast is not included; after all, it was clearly stated as not including breakfast when you booked, and we clearly stated this on our website. I sincerely apologize again for your unpleasant accommodation experience. I genuinely didn't know you were so unhappy, otherwise I would have let you choose the hotel you wanted on the first day instead of having to stay in such a cramped environment for three days. We can reserve the room for someone who prefers a noisier Patong. Happy New Year!

The place is close to the beach (10 minutes walking distance), there are two 7/11 stores nearby, a large food court nearby, and at night a small market selling food and trinkets, and the staff who work there are super polite.

A wonderful gem in the middle of Patong in Phuket. The location is perfect within ten minutes walking distance to the main street of patong. We spent our new year's eve here and it was wonderful. The owner who can speak chinese and english helped us during all our trip to find restaurants or nice place to visit. They have two lovely cats as well that were waiting for us at the entrance to make sure we come back safe home. Again, Special thanks to the owner that helped us made our first trip to Thailand so much special.

Honestly, this hostel in this price can be perfect. location is good, owner is so nice, room is clean enough. But the only thing is almost guest is from main land China, speak and close door very loudly, i stayed for two nights, they wake me up a few times per night, its nightmare❗️ they just dont care. without these worst guest, its a perfect hostal❗️

I only stayed for one night as it was cheaper to stay in patong and ride the motorbike, than get a taxi to and from. The host is lovely and I very welcoming. I would definitely use again.

The hospitality was very warm, and the hot water was very comfortable. You should choose a room that faces away from the street, otherwise it will be noisy. Toothbrushes and slippers are provided, which is nice. There is no parking; you need to park across the street. By the way, where is the cat? I can't see it!

The owner and the front desk lady are so nice. They let you store your luggage for free and even helped find things you left in your room. When I first arrived, a resident stopped by to help with my luggage. Everyone here is so nice, including two super cute cats! However, be aware that rooms with balcony views face the street, and Patong is full of motorcycles, which run late into the night. If you have trouble sleeping, consider choosing a different room type.
