For this price point, I have no complaints. The pool is very clean, and the public facilities and views are great. You can easily get to White Beach, which is about 2 km round trip. You can also rent a motorbike for 500 Thai Baht a day.

So glad I chose Ban Raya Resort & Spa for my two-night stay on Racha Island. I absolutely loved the natural surroundings at Ban Raya. The room was spacious and clean, and most importantly, the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, with no strange odors or dampness. The bed was incredibly soft, and I slept so well here. The hotel also has a snorkeling area, an infinity pool, and individual villa-style bungalows. Plus, I got to see peacocks displaying their feathers every day!

The hotel is located on an island and requires a speedboat transfer. First, about the hotel: it's great, and the staff are very friendly. I talked to the front desk about the mattress being too soft, and they immediately brought a brand new, firmer one. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was abundant. Now, about the speedboat: it was a bit uncomfortable. They kept cramming more people in even though there wasn't enough space. While splitting into two boats might increase costs, the experience for guests on a single overcrowded boat was really bad. I hope they improve that. Finally, I just want to say that Koh Racha is truly beautiful, and you really should stay for a night.

The room was very clean and not damp at all. The lunch buffet also suited Chinese tastes. There's a shuttle service when you arrive on the island. The staff spoke a little Chinese, which made communication quite convenient.

The views are absolutely stunning, and the cleanliness is good too. It includes round-trip ferry tickets, breakfast, and access to an infinity pool. My husband also said it was excellent value for money! This hotel is really great, much better than [Ruì, assuming this is a hotel name or a comparison].

Compared to two years ago, this experience was much worse. The service has deteriorated, and the facilities are old. There was peacock droppings on the paths that hadn't been cleaned, and many railings were broken. However, this is still the best place for snorkeling on Racha Island. If you don't care about the hardware and service and only focus on the scenery, this place is fine. Cons: 1. The service has completely declined. I had to drag my luggage a long way, carrying it up and down, on and off boats, and it was very hot. 2. The speedboat seats were so cramped I couldn't stretch my legs, much narrower than a budget airline. 3. No fridge in the room. On a hot day, if you want cold drinks, you have to buy ice at the restaurant for 20 THB a cup. 4. Neither the lobby nor the restaurant had air conditioning, it was incredibly hot, especially during the 3 hours before check-in and 2 hours after check-out while waiting for the boat. It was boiling. 5. The air conditioning leaked and soaked the entire room. 6. No curtains, so the sun was shining directly on my face in the morning. 7. No phone in the room. To contact the front desk, I had to use my own mobile, which was inconvenient for everything. 8. The sofa was dirty. 9. The restaurant food wasn't very good. Other restaurants on the island are much better. 10. No beach access, getting to the beach was a hassle. 11. Don't go sea fishing here. It's 3000 THB for 2 hours, which is far worse than the 3000 THB for a whole day on Koh Lipe. Plus, the boat barely went out, and we basically caught nothing. The experience was terrible. Go to Koh Lipe for fishing; the service and experience are much better. Pros: 1. Good snorkeling. 2. Chinese communication was fine throughout, no language barrier. Many Chinese tourists, so it was lively. It's truly become unscrupulous since it changed to a Chinese owner. To save money, they've removed fridges, phones, and curtains. They're selling rooms that are basically unfinished shells with incomplete facilities and no regard for the user experience. All the thoughtful details that Thai hotels usually have are gone. There's a reason for the low rating here.

Beautiful stay in a stunning natural setting. The property is surrounded by a large park with giant trees and beautifully maintained flowers, many different space options to practice yoga. Our bungalow (no. 22) on the far left side was very private, peaceful, and facing the sea. The beach in front was an amazing surprise, with some of the best snorkeling we’ve done in Thailand. We saw a moray eel, a snake eel, a boxfish, and even a lobster. The only thing that could be improved a little is the breakfast buffet. Overall, a wonderful stay.

If you're just looking to snorkel, this place is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it for a good overall experience. It's the worst hotel I've stayed at in Phuket, and it's quite isolated. If you're considering diving or fishing, think carefully before booking, as there's a 1000 baht cancellation fee. The diving staff by the beach had a terrible attitude, and the fishing boat was really run-down – it doesn't even compare to other, more affordable hotels. We didn't catch a single fish, which was very disappointing. The peacocks and cicadas were incredibly loud, and their calls were quite startling. Maybe a slightly better room would have improved things. The toilet was also broken, and the water pressure was very low. If you have the budget, just stay at The Racha or a similar alternative; you'll have soft, white sand beaches right outside. Because the experience was so bad, I forgot to take any photos – I only have pictures from other places.

This is a beautiful hotel on Racha Island. Most of the staff speak Chinese, and the restaurant serves delicious food, especially the seafood spaghetti which was amazing! 😋 The hotel's snorkeling spot is excellent, with lots of fish to see, and the instructors are very dedicated. The only minor issue is that geckos occasionally appear in the rooms.

The environment is beautiful and comfortable, offers great value for money, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, truly impeccable! Racha Island boasts breathtaking scenery. You can rent a scooter to explore the island, go fishing and have your catch cooked fresh, and there's excellent snorkeling nearby. Each of the island's three beaches has its own unique charm!

The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, with sea views right from your room. I highly recommend this place for anyone who prioritates snorkeling. The cleanliness was excellent, and the room was spacious and bright. Overall, a fantastic experience. There are three hotels on Racha Island, with The Racha being the best, but also the most expensive, costing over 5000 RMB per night. To be honest, I couldn't bring myself to pay that much, especially since The Racha's beach is shared, not private. Anyway, back to Bann Raya Hotel. Let's start with the pros: 1. They offer Chinese-speaking service. The owner seems to be *********, so the front desk staff speaks Chinese. 2. It has a private snorkeling reef. 3. The hotel environment is lovely and great for taking photos. Now for the cons: 1. The facilities are a bit old, giving it a somewhat rustic hotel feel. 2. The tap water is very cloudy, especially when it first comes out of the faucet; it's yellow. Overall, it's worth experiencing if you love diving. However, if you're looking for a high-quality hotel experience, you should think twice.
