Hotel di Pantai Kamala, Phuket

We stayed at 1BDR pool villa, and happy to have Gam as our butler. She is sweet and taking great care to us like friend. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast everyday, we love the variety and taste of food, especially the thai soup noddles! We had Tea and Happy Hour in The Club. We loved the snacks and drink in HH more(maybe we are not sweet favour), choice of snacks is not as much as other IC, but are signature. Choice of drinks served alcohol lover~ Staff are cheerful, no matter who you met in the resort. Buildings are beautiful and remarkable! We slept very good for 3 nights with cosy beds and good room temperature, almost no mosquitoes disturbed . only minor cons to remarks: 1. floor in bathroom area is slippery even it is dry, a bit dangerous. 2. temperature of fridge is too high, drink is not cold enough. To conclude, I will certainly back to IC if I revisit Phuket :)

It was a great vacation home. Suite was huge and staffs were kind. They offer free shuttle to Kamala beach, which was very convenient.

When I arrived and the door to my room on the top floor opened, it looked so amazing, a big bright & airy clean room with a great view over Kamala. At just over 700bt a night, amazing value & proved to be a great stay Everything worked as expected, bed very comfy, decent pool, a quiet location, beach within 10mins walk, and Big C supermarket within 5mins walk, with many more shops, restaurants & bars along the main road & down little side streets The staff were all friendly and very helpful My 1st stay in Kamala, a great beach and having a great hotel made it so good. Certainly a place I will stay again on my next visit to Kamala, as I am really impressed by this hotel

After more than 3.5 years we were back and it was like coming home. This time we chose a 3b villa ”Terraces” for our 3 week stay. Do you know the feeling when you enter a room and you feel so comfortable right away? We knew from our last visit that the team would do everything possible to ensure that their guests wouldn't miss anything. The villa was perfectly clean, lots of little details have been thought and it all felt so fresh & welcome. The fridge was already filled with our pre-ordered drinks, a visit to the local superstore did the rest and within a short time you are so well equipped that the holidays can start right away. Due to the heaviest rain the island have seen in 50 years - which resulted in flooding in parts of the island and landslides outside of Kamala that took down 5 power poles - there was no electricity for a certain time. The challenged team took care of us so kindly and gave us updates on the situation. They even brought candles to the villa in the evening which not only brightened the mood but also made it very romantic. We also felt so safe with everyone that our daughter wanted to stay alone in the evenings so that we could meet up with our friends for dinner. Not only are we infinitely grateful to the whole team, we would also like to say a big thank you to Thomas. Not only that the communication with him is so great, but also that he was able to help us with a special request and he was therefore responsible to make the trip possible for us as a family. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts & we'll see you ALL again next year (HILLS next...)

Since the opening of Himmapana Luxury Pool Villas, we have enjoyed coming here every year and it is almost like a ”home away from home” for us. Thomas and his team manage a wonderful resort that leaves nothing to be desired. After a 2 year break - du to Covid19 - we came back this year with friends and had 2 wonderful weeks here. From booking to departure, the experience was simply perfect. Before arrival the team did all the errands for us: such as shopping and preparing a late in-house dinner. The service on site is second to none: the girls at front desk are on hand to help guests with anything they need, the shuttle bus takes you anywhere within Kamala and even the walk to the beach or night time entertainment such as restaurants and bars is neither far nor unsafe. The girls who take care of the household during the day are always friendly and conscientious and leave nothing to be desired. One simply takes the entire team to one's heart and we appreciate the family-like management. The resort has also convinced our friends who were in Thailand for the first time this year and we are already counting the days until we come back next year. Thank you for another unforgettable time!

Excellent staff, helpful and friendly, always offering assistance to my wife who has some mobility restrictions. Large bright room on 3rd floor, comfortable bed resulting in a great sleep. Great shower. Room serviced daily and maintained very clean and hygienic throughout our stay. Enjoyed our included breakfast. Great central location in a relatively quiet area and within walking distance of most attractions and facilities. The hotel could improve a couple of areas;- There is a lack of wardrobe and storage for long stay guests. Handrails required on steps which are fairly challenging for older legs. There is also a lack of steps or similar access facility to pool unless you are staying in a direct pool access room..

My husband and I wanted to enjoy a one-of-a kind wedding and honeymoon, and we found Keemala. We booked well in advance and found that communication with our wedding planner, Gam, was smooth and efficient. She helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, made sure we had a beautiful room, and walked us through our wedding ceremony, and after wedding events. (She even arranged for the bathtub to have flower petals in it!- very romantic!) Everyone was so pleasant and the room couldn't have been more beautiful. The staff is great, the food is amazing, and the view is breathtaking. I would highly recommend this resort. It's absolutely worth the trip.

Отличное местечко прямо около пляжа, балкон выходит сразу на море. Пляж, к сожалению, не очень чистый, но подальше чистят. Номер чистый, на следующий день поменяли все полотенца и белье. Все очень дружелюбные. Прямо на выходе ресторан, гуляют котята. Душ, к сожалению, очень слабенький, но была поливалка для ног с хорошим напором, можно и ей быстро обмыться. Не помешали бы тапочки. Рядом много магазинчиков, ресторанов, массажных салонов, севен елевен с зоной для еды. Очень понравилось, жаль что пробыли здесь недолго.

Since we are a Club Mahindra member, so we chose this hotel in Phuket. Went with my wife and my daughter (18 Yrs). The property over all is very good and away from the busy areas. Some of the precise observations listed below. Hope this helps in making the decision Pros: 1. Smooth Check-in 2. Very clean and tidy property 3. Spacious Room (1 Bedroom Suite) 4. Comfortable bed & pillows 5. Couple of Indian restaurants just outside the hotel 6. Good Indian food 7. Very nice pool 8. Helpful staff Cons: 1. No 7/11 around. The nearest is about a km and a half and the taxi will charge 40 bahts too and fro. So, plan your purchases accordingly when you go there. 2. Little inside the main road. Difficult to walk the beach seems very far away due to the heat as there's no private beach. 3. Not much to do in the area where it's located. Patong beach is 20 minutes away which isn't much but commuting will cost some money 4. Electricity sockets are in a bad condition and not at the right places. Please check the sockets of the room before you are allocated the room 5. No kitchnette inside the room Special mention: 1. Harish Bahuguna, the Indian chef cooks a great food. He cooked a very nice fish masala and lentil (Dal) for us. It was precisely as per the instructions 2. Vacilli at the travel desk. Very helpful and cooperative. One has to negotiate but I definitely give full marks to his sales skills Overall, if you like a quite area then go for this. I am rating it very good due to the pros that I have mentioned above.

Please stay away from this hotel if you don’t want your holidays being ruined. The hotel was actually acquired by Hyatt from others so none of the hardware is up to Hyatt’s standard: 1. The hotel is aged and lack of maintenance. Eg toilet board in my room is loosened (it is me who did the fixing on my own), there are sign of ageing everywhere. The games room in the Mexican restaurant has no air conditioning , they told me its out of order. They just simple accept the condition without any proactive action to do repair even when our family purposely go up there for the games provided. Traces of Poor workmanship is everywhere. 2. Poor design planning and layout: we stayed in the family room number 5xxx. You have to walk to take buggy uphill a bit. That’s not a problem . The real problem is that you have to pass through a very narrow journey with step and corridor, something like a back of house or back lane which is very dark and narrow. The arrival experience is very bad. Right in front of your door is the back of other rooms with all the air conditioning units emitting hot air and super noisy sound to your entrance door which you have to experience the nuisance every time you go out and return!!! The toilet cubicle is way beyond human ergonomics. The length of it is just too short: when your sit on the loo, your knee is just 10 cm away from the other side if the wall. What a wrong design ! The view from our room is blocked by some big trees in front! 3. Hygiene problems : marks and stained are everywhere , poor maintenance is so obvious when you just look around, When we first entered the room , we found that the slippers were already laid out but they are old ones which has sign of being used before !!! The room has flies , and i have killed 3. There are unclean marks everywhere which suggest that the cleaning and maintenance is not well taken care of. The pool area is always dirty with little scraps of food everywhere. Not to mention the kids area near the slide, so messy with all sort of food remains and candy wraps …. You name it…. In the restaurant, many utensils eh bowls are not completely dry. Some spoon for dessert are sticky with i out being thoroughly cleaned. 4. Room service is the worst amongst all the international 5 starts group: every time my request was wrongly delivered either missing something or wrong. The other day we went out for swimming and came back around noon but the room was left unattended for cleaning. The toilet was blocked this morning, the guy came in with the “pump” and surprising he didn’t bring it with a plastic bag or something to carry it so you can imagine the dripping from the pump after service from the bathroom all along until he reached the door, i gave him a towel to wrap the pump up to stop the dripping. How can a 5 star hotels miss this basic attention to service ? Last nite , i asked for some tissue paper around 10pm. You just can’t imagine the guy came to my door and knocked loudly
