We typically do not complain unless it’s really warranted but this is one of those times. My wife and I stayed at the Wyndham in Playa de Carmen Mexico early this year. After a delayed flight and a long travel day, we finally arrived at 11:30 PM only to be told upon check in that our hotel room has no running water. No other room was offered to us and when we asked we were told that we cannot change rooms!! Needless to say this was unacceptable on so many levels! A year later we decided to put that experience behind us and give the Wyndham another chance so we booked into the Proud Karen beach Wyndham in Phuket Thailand. We chose this hotel over another one because their site said the hotel had a roof top pool and a fitness room. I recently injured myself so a gym is very important for my ongoing rehab. However, once we checked in, were informed by the staff that there was no fitness room nor a roof top pool as both were still under construction. I was feeling frustrated as I specifically choose this hotel for the fitness room and felt that they had misrepresented their amenities on the site. Furthermore, It appeared the hotel was still under renovation as you have to navigate yourself through an old car parkade (see video) and long steep drive way to get to the front desk and only one elevator is operational in each building. We were willing to turn a blind eye to these shortcomings but I needed a fitness room so after 2 days we ask to check out early and get a refund only on the last 2 days. When I called (from room) the manager at the front desk about my request and reason why the call was disconnected so I went to the front counter and when the manager saw me he called the sales agent who informed him to tell me that our room was nonrefundable. At this point I asked to talk to the sales agent on the phone as they appeared to have the authority to grant refunds. As I began to explain to her why I wanted to check out early she rudely cut me off and would not let me finish explaining. I asked her to let me finish speaking and again she cut me off and said that I have to go through my booking agent. The booking agent had already emailed the hotel twice with no reply. We were then told the office was closed so we would have to wait until Monday which was our check out date so that would be too late. An hour later our booking agent mysteriously got a hold off the “closed office” (the sales lady who I had talked to) and he said that she denied our request despite our complaint. There was nothing he could do. I email Wyndham’s head office regarding the matter but had no reply ! This company misrepresents itself and takes no accountability should an issue occur ! Stay clear!!!

We stayed with my family in February-March 2023 at the Glow Mira Karon Beach Hotel. It was our most wonderful holiday in recent years in Thailand. The ideal location of the hotel within walking distance from the sea, close to 7/11 shops, fruit shops and restaurants. Very beautiful new hotel, modern design of the rooms and the whole hotel, excellent restaurant with the most delicious breakfasts in Phuket. Great pool and fitness room with new modern equipment. The rooms were cleaned daily, very responsive and pleasant staff, always ready to solve any of our questions. Smiles and good mood are the hallmark of the Glow Mira Hotel. A special thanks from our entire family to the hotel manager Miss Agnes Dela Cruz Galleon, who really did her best to make hotel guests happy with their stay. It is felt in every little thing, which is very pleasant for us as guests. We will recommend the Glow Mira Hotel to all our friends and will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Phuket. Best wishes to Miss Agnes and Glow Mira Karon Beach Hotel. Good location. Rooms are spacious and clean, they are cleaned every day as well which was a bonus. The pool is really nice and it’s a sun trap so perfect for sunbathing if you don’t want to go to the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our flight wasn’t until the nighttime and they let us leave our bags behind reception after we checked out and let us use their pool until we had to set off to the airport. Really good value for price and I would definitely recommend. 10/10 would stay again. Thankyou

Добрый день! Это правда один из лучших отелей по соотношению цена - качество. Чистые, большие номера, бесплатные чай, кофе, вода каждый день, огромная кровать, полотенца. Мы бронировали номер с завтраком и не сколько не пожалели, вкусные, разнообразные, фрукты каждый день. Также нельзя не отметить бассейн на 7 этаже с шикарным видом, фото оттуда получаются бомбические. Но и это не самый главный плюс этого отеля, лучше расположения нельзя было выбрать. До ночного рынка Mallin plaza 5 минут ходьбы ( при выходе из отеля на улицу поворачиваете направо до перекрестка и потом налево). Поверьте мне, на этом ночном рынке вы и будете питаться, потому что там такое разнообразие по приятным ценам ( Том ям с морепродуктами 100 Батт, жареный стейк из курицы 70 Батт, жареная рыба 100-200 Батт). До моря также 5 минут ходьбы, только уже при выходе из отеля поворачиваете налево до кафе Хард Рок и опять налево до конца (лежак 100 Батт) но можно его и не брать. До бангла Роуд и ТЦ идти 1 км, приблизительно 12-15 минут неспешного шага. Так что этот отель входит теперь в фавориты на Патонге. И еще, если вы будете ездить на экскурсии, то забирать вас будут последними , потому что в основном всегда все едут через Карон, а от нас он ближе всего. Но развозить вас тоже будут последними из за одностороннего движения, из за чего приходилось делать круг по всему городу. Мы просто просили нас высадить возле Маллин Плаза первыми и экономили себе как минимум 30 минут. А после экскурсии меньше всего хочется кататься по всему городу.

Saya sangat gembira kerana telah memilih Courtyard by Marriott Patong Beach. Lokasinya sangat bagus. Bilik itu boleh diterima pada malam pertama, saya merasakan cadar dan penutup selimut sedikit lembap adalah sangat mudah Anda juga boleh duduk di balkoni dan menikmati pemandangan indah kolam renang. Saya sangat menikmati penginapan saya di hotel selama tiga hari Kolam renang cahaya matahari dan angin kelapa yang lembut menjadikan semuanya indah. Kakitangan perkhidmatan juga sangat bersemangat dan tidak merasakan bahawa terdapat sebarang diskriminasi terhadap orang Cina Lelaki bagasi di lobi membantu saya, yang saya sangat berterima kasih! Sarapan paginya banyak dan menepati selera saya, tetapi sarapan Cina kurang. Akhir sekali, saya ingin mengatakan bahawa Courtyard by Marriott Patong adalah pilihan yang tepat Bagi saya, kerana saya suka bercuti dan beriadah, saya memerlukan persekitaran hotel yang baik dengan lebih banyak kolam renang saya boleh berbaring di atas kerusi santai sepanjang hari Sebenarnya, , saya pada asalnya menempah Sheraton, tetapi ia tidak mempunyai banyak keseronokan tanpa balkoni, dan terdapat ramai orang di dalam bilik, yang saya tidak suka jika anda mempunyai kawan yang suka kemeriahan atau tidak memerlukan balkoni, ia dikatakan baik. Saya masih gembira dengan pilihan saya! Ia mengambil masa kira-kira 15 minit berjalan kaki ke Jiangxi Lengbanzan hotel.

Great location ... clean room ..only need to take note that there are 2 wings ... 2 different building for the Afterglow Room and Sunkissed Room ... so whenever u book transport there .. make sure to highlight to the driver ... The access to the shopping mall for the Sunkissed lobby is still not open ... but there are free transfer...

Номера маленькие, уборки практически нет. За неделю ни разу полы не помыли. В ванной всю неделю был песок. Шторки в душе нет. Дверь в ванную сломана, пришлось вообще ее не закрывать 🙈 На балкон вообще убираться не заходили. Сушилки нет. Туалетную бумагу не клали. Бассейн закрывают в 9, и даже просто посидеть возле него после 9 нельзя. Очень шумно. Мало того что стадион и клуб под окном, так и совокупления соседей слышишь всю ночь. Одноразовые тапочки не положили. Посуду не мыли. Вообщем от уборки одна видимость. Парковки нет. Все стоит перед входом и под открытым небом. Завтрак скудный, ближе к 10 уже ничего не добавляют. Возле кровати нет тумбочек. Выключатель светильников находится между подушками. Ночью головой постоянно свет включали и просыпались. Вообщем отель совсем не понравился.

If you're only staying in Phuket a couple of days, this hotel is satisfactory. It's quite close to the beach and shopping if you need to buy anything. There are two important things to note: 1) There is a 1,000 Baht deposit you have to pay upon check in. You get the deposit back when you check out. 2) The address/name on the site does not take you to the hotel. The hotel is the ICheck Inn Chill Patong and the address is 18 / 1Rat-u-thit ,200 pee road, kathu, Phuket, 83150, Thailand.

Pros: Good value for money, staff were great, rooftop pool was awesome, spacious rooms with everything you need, dog friendly. Cons: bit far away from beaches and some attractions but close to Phuket old town.
