Hotel Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO

This hotel is now my number one favourite canaries hotel. The sea view rooms are just spectacular. The room decor is bright, modern & unfussy. Cleanliness is impeccable. The location of the hotel is perfect, quiet, serene & just lovely. It’s an absolute pleasure. One very minor criticism is, it is near impossible to order wine or beer with one’s dinner because that would involve getting the attention of a waiter, who are constantly busy. This one thing would’ve added so much to our dining experience. Lovely hotel.

It was our first holiday in Lanzarote and we were pleased with the hotel: it is located in a quiet and pleasant area, close to the best beaches (Playa de Papagayo, for example). The room was always spotlessly clean and tidy. The restaurant had a lot of variety (both breakfast and dinner) with delicious food (but lunch could have had more variety). The all-inclusive snacks, however, fell far short (they should have had more quality and variety). The cocktails were magnificent! We must highlight the excellent service of the restaurant/bar staff, who were always attentive and friendly: the head waiters were always helpful, the waiters were always efficient (Diogo, a very nice Portuguese boy) and a special thanks to Emanuel, Daniel and the dark-haired boy who I can no longer remember the name of at the bar, who were always very kind, excellent professionals and proactive (a big OBRIGADO () to them for contributing to a wonderful holiday). The negative point of our stay was a situation regarding the tennis court where, having already paid for 2 sessions (2 hours of tennis), the reception staff demanded that we pay for a 3rd session (due to a lack of communication between them), claiming that we hadn't paid for one of the days. It was embarrassing as the tall, slim, blonde receptionist claimed we were liars. Fortunately, the situation was resolved at the end of the stay and we were refunded the amount due. The spa should be free to enter. The entertainment was good and inclusive. Overall it was a good experience.

Looking a little tired food ok if a bit sameie could change towels a bit more but the shocker was the WI-FI absolutely useless just like aircon. Staff friendly. entertainment was very poor and very short and giving room number every time you got a drink was a bit of a bore surely in this day and age there’s got to be a better way maybe reading code on wrist band or app on your phone just saying.

I stayed at the Mirador Papagayo Hotel for the last 2 weeks in August with my 2 teenagers, we had a double, front sea view room. The view from the room was amazing and the room was very clean, the bath did look dated and a little rusty on the side. The bathroom did not have an extractor fan or a window so after 3 people showering the room did become very hot. The hotel grounds were well maintained, each morning the floor was cleaned around the pool and the pool was cleaned. We never had a problem with getting a sun lounger, even after a trip to the market. It would have been nice to have a little table next to the lounger but these were not provided. You could not have balls in the pool but water guns were allowed which I didn't understand as they did get annoying. We joined in most of the activates around the pool. We were disappointed one day as my 13 year old was told she could not join in the darts because she was too young (even though I had paid an adults price for her and she was too old for the kids club). On a separate occasion I signed a disclaimer to allow her to play archery. Once again Pinky (the male entertainer) told her she could not join in, even though she had already played archery twice before, after signing the disclaimer. Sadly Pinky really did let the entertainment team down. He showed no enthusiasm and a clear dislike of children. We spoke to other people around the pool who felt the same. When doing the mini disco he just looked like he did not want to be there. On a massive contrast was Vanesa, she had such a zest for her job and brought such energy! She put her heart and sole into everything that she did and really made our holiday. We loved the yoga and her dance class! The outdoor evening entertainment was defiantly better than having it inside. When I asked Pinky why the entertainer wasn't outside more often, he told me that it was too much work for them! On the whole we enjoyed the food, my daughter is a fussy eater and did struggle to find something she liked on a couple of occasions. All the staff at the hotel were so helpful, it was just a shame about the one member who did spoil the vibe at times. I would defiantly recommend this hotel but maybe less so if you have a fussy eater.

Our family of 5 holidays for 6 nights was nice. We loved the swimming pool on both sides of the hotel. We had half board, so breakfast and dinner. We always found something nice to eat. The rooms and we had lots of space with fridge , stove, sink and microwave. Rooms were, however, we did find little bug ants that seem to be everywhere. We didn't really watch much of entertainment, so I can't comment on this . Locate is good for playa blanca

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel at the start of February for a week, staff were nice and accommodating, pool was nice and cleaned daily rooms were also clean. The only things that were not so great was the food it was cold all of the time breakfast lunch and dinner anything I ate had to be microwaved luckily there was one there. and there wasn’t many options to chose from they served mostly fish. 30/40 min walk to playa Blanca bars restaurants etc The entertainment wasn’t great. Overall would not return here due to the terrible food but lovely hotel
