Suites Cielo y Mar

we stayed in suites for two nights and it was amazing time hotel is in quiet area but still close to shops,restaurant and to the beach. pool on roof top is not big but you can cool yourself after walking in the heat breakfast is simple but there will be toasts,cereal,tea,coffee rooms are very nice and clean and spacious and we even had a coffe machine and fridge in them staff is very friendly and helpful i wanna say thank you to Sergio for helping us renting a bike:) enjoy and relax in Suites:)

Overall this was a four star for us. The hotel Is basic but has what you need. The rooms are clean and great views. One complaint was the shower head in our room was not working. It was spurting water out if the sides with no flow through the shower head itself. We decided to just make due since we were there only 4 days but it was definitely something that should be fixed. The staff are extremely friendly however most speak little or no English so if you have any issues or questions its hard to communicate. Overall good experience and we would prob stay again.

We stayed here over Xmas. I assume prices were higher because of that because the value was bad. The room was ok but lot of small broken things like a noisy ventilator which made is unuseable. Pros: The view and the location since its short walk to the beach and shopping street. There was no internet for 2 days and internet issues the day before. Major problem. Staff always looks like they're trying but I found that they all just act in Mexico, the moment they turn around they stop bothering about your requests. 3 Days without internet in a Hotel where you pay 100Eur/Night is just ridiculous and unacceptable.

The place is very good for the price, and every nicely situated if you want tranquility. The building is 4 years old (as I was told, as for Dec. 2021), it still seems relatively new. Nice ambience, 5-min walk to one of the best beaches. Good firm beds, smart TV, nice balconies with relaxin chairs, a beautiful garden where you can meditate (which is rare find in the area). Good elevator. Nicely equipped kitchen with microwave, enough of blankets and towels. Nice service, they texted me asking what time we are arriving. They have bicycles, but the center is in like 15-20 min walking distance. Those were the pros. Now the cons :) The toilet doesn't flush nicely. They forbid to through the paper into it. The paper would not flush down anyway. To get the warm water you have to let the shower run for like 5 minutes. But this water situation is a normality in B&Bs of Playa del Carmen as I understand. We stayed for 4 nights, of which we did not have internet for 2 days. We left and there was still no internet. It was a problem, as we needed to work and book our next stay. However, the stuff was helpful initially and shared another wifi password with me. I saws they were working on fixing it, but it was on the Christmas Eve day, and they didn't finish. And on the next day, noone was there and no internet as well. The breakfast was poor, we tried it ones, but then thought it doesn't worth waking up early :) I wanted to put 4 stars, but still put 5, as now we have seen other options and can compare, and I still think I would have extended our stay in Suites Cielo y Mar, regardless all the cons. However, they were fully booked and we have switch. For internet, there are tons of coffee shops in 15-min walking distance. But if you need to be constantly online, that might be not the option for you. I still recommend the place very much.

petit hôtel , au calme , quartier tranquille , bien sécurisé , premier restaurant a 500 M , quartier très animé a 1,5 kms , 15 mn a pied , promenade piétonne tout le long , partie commune et chambre très propre , couchage de qualité , salle de bain complète , belle vue . La petite piscine , bien entretenue sur le toit est très agréable quand on rentre après " la mer " ou après une excursions . Les petits déjeuner sont simple mais vraiment complet et a volonté , le café est excellent . nous avons séjourné 11 nuits , et si nous devions revenir a Playa Del Carmen , nous y reviendrons , un Merci particulier a Sergio , pour son accueil et son professionnalisme . 2 petit bémol , les chiens des voisins , la l'hôtel n'y peu rien , la seule chose qu'il faudrait amélioré , c'est le bruit de la pompe qui se trouve au dernier étage , est qui resonne dans les chambres . un petit plus serait d'avoir , un bureau d'excursions ... Merci

Fui con mi esposa a fines de octubre de este año y la verdad todo espectacular, comodidad, la atención del personal excelente, el desayuno es tipo buffet muy rico, y la habitación con su gran balcón, cómoda y espaciosa y con aire acondicionado. Y tenía en el último piso la piscina y áreas recreativas para descansar y relajarse. La ubicación está muy cerca de la quinta avenida. Volvería de nuevo.
