This new hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to 5th Street, the beaches, and the local community. A+ for location! There is also a beautiful and expansive supermarket right under the hotel to get whatever culinary needs you require. We were upgraded to a balcony room as Bonvoy Titanium,.The price point of the Aloft was also a value, and it is a good bargain in using Marriott Bonvoy points. Javier that checked us in was lovely and gracious, and all staff were pleasant and professional. Aloft is an unusual hotel--one that wants to be a wanna-be hip W Hotel and also a Fairfield Inn for Gen Z'ers. It didn't do either very well, unfortunately. The staff wanted to do well, and perhaps there are still newly opened growing pains that will be worked out. Housekeeping was promised daily, but on 3 out of the 5 days we had to call Housekeeping after returning from the day;'s activities to service the room (which they did right away when called) but this was a big fail. The purified water dispenser in the nice gym was often empty. And generally the upkeep of the hotel is not or was not a priority. It's nice and new and ”hip looking” but metal surfaces and walls by the pool on the 4th floor are rusting already, and little bits of trash on the hallway carpeting remained for the 5 days which showed they didn't vacuum the common areas as often as should be. Room A/C and common area A./C were great! 4th floor pool has city and sea views in the distance and we could often see Cozumel and the cruise ships anchored there in the far distance on most days. I wanted the stay to be great, but it was good.

Ia agak dekat dengan taman tema siri x, jadi ia tidak berada di kawasan hotel 7 aksara. Jika anda pergi ke xcaret, saya mengesyorkan semua orang untuk tinggal di sini. Terdapat banyak restoran di sebelah hotel, dan terdapat pusat membeli-belah berdekatan. Terdapat kolam infiniti di tingkat atas. Secara keseluruhan nisbah harga/prestasi adalah okay.

We are a well travelled couple who are generally easy going and not hugely demanding. Positives: - The hotel is centrally located. - The hotel is quirky and a little quaint (personal opinion). - The hotel is fairly cheap. - Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. - Our room was huge. OK's: - Reception staff friendly-ish (some more than others). - Cute little pool but way too much chlorine. Negatives: - The reception staff can barely communicate in English and made no effort to get hold of someone who did. - We booked a room with two beds. The one bed was very firm and the second not useable (it was too unstable to sit on let alone sleep on. - The pillows were made from memory foam and accordingly very hard. Woke up most mornings with back and neck ache. - Air-conditioner leaked non-stop. We had to use both trash cans in the room to collect the water and they needed regular emptying. Reported this to reception on 4 occasions without remedy. - Lack of furniture in the room. The room is listed to cater for 4 guests however there was only 1 dinning chair in the room for use at the little table. - The balcony is a good size but no chairs, however there was a table. Also the railing around the balcony was very wobbly and badly rusted (certainly wouldn't let children play on that balcony. - The shower-head was very old and blocked which resulted in the bathroom getting flooded and a rather unpleasant shower experience. - General maintenance of the room was terrible. Windows and balcony door opened and closed with difficulty. Front door was felt very insecure and the internal locks (chain lock) was barely attached to the door. (granted I never felt unsafe). Holes in the walls that have never been filled or repaired. - One day we noticed what appeared to be bloody foot steps in the pool area. It unfortunately took the staff two days to clean these footprints. Unfortunately, I would never stay at this hotel again. I would also not recommend this hotel to anybody else.

I would like to make a suggestion to management that they take on the responsibility of having the sidewalk and street cleaned up across from the hotel and up to 10th Avenue. It really is disgraceful how littered it is. Yes, I realize it is on the opposite side of the street, and up somewhat from the hotel, ( a vacant lot ) however the way I see it, it is an introduction to 52nd street from 10th avenue and the main property is Hotel 52. It is beyond me how anyone can walk by this garbage and think it’s OK. I’m sure the first retort from the owners or managers of the property is that it is not their responsibility. That would be correct, but that would be the wrong answer. Besides being in there vested interest to have the street clean, it makes the area look nice! Win-win all around.

Todo estuvo muy bien, las instalaciones son un poco antiguas sin embargo de buen tamaño, de sugerencias sería que agregaran un secador de cabello en las habitaciones y que cambiaran las toallas ya que durante nuestra estancia no nos cambiaron las toallas ni una vez.

one of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

We were incredibly disappointed with this hotel, it looks 5 star but the experience isn’t. We stayed July 2024. On check in, the whole process took over an hour because they had put our reservation down for August…not July. This was eventually resolved and we were given a ‘temporary’ room for a few hours. At this point we were understanding- these things happen and they offered a solution. The man on the check in was pleasant but incredibly slow. We stayed for 4 nights and there is no doubt the setting is wonderful and the rooms were lovely- however breakfast (included) was atrocious and lacking the basics. Bread but no butter or jam etc out, we had to ask every time and often more than one member of staff to eventually get it- often taking over 20 mins. One day there was no buffet at all but no one could explain why. You could order 2 out of the 3 remaining dishes on the menu but you were only allowed one per person. I had pancakes but then had the same fiasco that they came with no syrup and I had to ask 2 members of staff and wait 20 mins to eventually get it. On the Saturday night we stayed there, the hotel decided to throw a party until 2am…. Guests unfortunately were not invited or made aware so we were kept awake for several hours in our room. I went to reception to complain and was told a manager would speak with me in the morning..needless to say they didn’t. Reading between the lines, they host a lot of events for the local community (which is great) but the communication around it was poor and not acceptable for hotel guests. If they had invited hotel guests and offered a drink on the house or something along those lines it would make much more sense. The whole experience was completely bizarre and not worth the price they charged. I would expect this kind of service from a cheap local guesthouse, not a 5 star resort. The staff were not unpleasant at all but poorly organised and lacking basic communication.

This was my second stay at the Westin Cozumel. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and in a nice location - just a 5-10 taxi ride into town. There are several restaurants that are excellent and just steps away. The private beach and snorkeling steps away is a real plus. The staff is very pleasant and kind, particularly Damian at the front desk. We also enjoyed a massage at the Zazil spa on-site - excellent services with hydrotherapy and very skilled masseuse. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and amazing views. Would recommend! The only I thing i foresee needing an update would be the bathroom tile work - it's starting to look a little dated/ragged. PPengguna TetamuI don’t even know where to start. Residence Inn at Marriot Playa Del Carmen has to be on of my pleasant hotel experiences ever. Starting from the positive vibe you feel as soon as you enter the premises all the way to when you checkout, they make you feel like a truly valued guest. Staff Everyone keeps smiling at you and they always try their best to accommodate your requests. Willy(security) was always there to assist whenever we arrived at the hotel. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the area, so he could put you on the right track regardless of which destination you were trying to get to. Gabriela (front desk) was super pleasant to work with during our check-in, when we had to extend our stay and every others time we had to request assistance from her. She always had a smile on her face and truly made us feel welcome. Cleanness The hotel appears to be brand new, with modern amenities and great décor. They keep all the common areas squeaky clean. I had to work from my room, so oftentimes when Domingo and Paulina came by to clean the room, I was in the middle of a meeting, but they never gave up on me and kept coming back until they made sure my room was clean on daily basis. Amenities Considering it is a hotel, they have an amazing gym and rooftop pool. I was hesitant about working out there at first when I made a reservation, but after seeing the equipment, size and clean environment they have at the gym, I actually looked forward to working out in the mornings. Food They serve decent breakfast(included) in the mornings between 7 to 10 am. They also have a specious dining area, so you will never have an issue finding a table. Waiters are also amazing, they try everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will be back!

DD’Gone InternationalService at reception/ lobby is fantastic, helpful and friendly. Also at the pool, staff tries to do their best as many people order and I think they need more staff to service everyone. However, at the restaurant ‘La cocina’ for breakfast as well as Dinner at the Sushi restaurant: service was pretty slow, even some dishes were forgotten and we had cancelled, some food arrived cold — needs to improve the table service. I didn’t appreciate that most of the weekly activities scheduled needed extra $. Need proper beach place to walk along. Is fun they have an arcade for extra entertainment.

PPengguna TetamuThe Carmen is clean and well situated. The ocean front suite was nice, bright, and spacious. However... - the reception checking in is horrible. There is a cheapo app that you must type all your data in to even though they have the reservation. One typing mistake and they say you are not registered. - Then you must type in your credit card (yes, type -- no reader) to this app. Very insecure! Took around ten minutes and the app never worked. The clerk ended up typing it in. With the Carmen, gone are the ”good day sir, welcome back: times. - On the card, they charge 100 US for ”incidentals”. I actually never found any incidentals to spend anything on. After two days and a message there are still two of these charge on my card and no reply for refund. - then they snag you with a pointless ”bracelet of death” for no visible purpose. The thing is like military grade plastic with little teeth inside. If you have the misfortune to pull it too tight you cannot remove it and you cut off circulation to your hand. You need a knife or scissors, and what traveler has those? There is no need for this whatsoever, and it is very dangerous if you pull it. If you get it caught it will take your hand off rather than breaking. - I had a ”luxury ocean front suite”, and the room and bed were nice. There was a puny little balcony with two very uncomfortable plastic chars. The jetted tub was cold and the jets did not work! In the room there is dangerous glass partition on the shower. Running into this at night could be a serious injury.

PPengguna TetamuThis was our second vacation trip to the Xcaret Mexico hotel. We really enjoyed the ”ALL fun inclusive” experience, with exclusive transportation and access to ALL Xcaret group parks. We were a family group of 5 rooms, with combination of adults, and adults/children in several of the rooms/suites. We had two concierge services representatives (K.C. and Laura), and they were very attentive and accommodating to our needs, requiring two suite changes to better suit our needs. They also helped us with the restaurants' and parks' reservations (for those which required it), and also with the wheel chair arrangements for my mother-in-law. The restaurants are big, and even though the hotel was fully occupied, we did not feel crowded or had to make lines to enter the restaurants. A most do is the Sunday brunch at the ”Las Cuevas” restaurant. Their meat and seafood offerings were way above what I was expecting, with even a Tuna processing experience made by the chef, ending in a delicious Tuna tartar appetizer. My wife is FULLY vegan (I am not), and we went to their vegan restaurant ”Bio”, and were able to taste almost ALL of their breakfast and lunch menu offerings, with every one having its own palate pleasing taste. Add to that their freshly pressed juices shots, and specialty frozen shakes. By the third day, Xiomara greeted us by our names, and waiter Edgar had known what we already tasted, and ”took care” of us. Kudos to both of them, for understanding and living a true ”costumer service”. This hotel is so well designed, that even there were live bands throughout the lobby and infinity pool areas, the volume was not overwhelming, and you can relax at another area, without it bothering you. Each restaurant had some special drinks, which you can enjoy, so make sure you ask the waiter for the ”special cocktail” of the day. We witnessed two ”destination weddings”, and the open area activities did no interfere with our time to enjoy the hotel amenities, so thank you for that. We even enjoyed another ”shot” of ”free” mariachi's songs while walking near them. On Sunday, we were able to enjoy catholic Sunday mass at the Xpiral chapel. All in all, my family and us had a blast, with ”not enough time” reviews from each and every one of them. We plan on coming back and visit some of the park attractions we did not have time to try, as well as enjoy again the amenities this hotel has to offer its guests. The weather was hot and humid, as it has been in every place in the world at this latitute. Be prepared and drink lots of water! ¡Muchas gracias por poner sus corazones al servicio de sus huéspedes! Let me first start off and tell you that the reception staff and maids are absolutely lovely really helpful my issue is not them at all. I'm going to write this review completely honest because I don't want another person to go in blind like I did. If you like sleep and you like quiet do not stay at this hotel. First of all when we arrived at hacienda del Caribe after an 11 hour flight we were told we were being moved to their sister hotel which is a bit of a walk with a disabled child our daughter and four suitcases anyway we were tired and happily agreed.The hotel is the most noisiest hotel I have ever been in and we have travelled the world.Not street noise that I can understand as it's the town no it is people inside the hotel because the windows are sheet thin and the doors have huge gaps the security do not care. I took videos of the noise.i complained to the hotel who moved us up a floor however we were without a room entirely from 11am until 4pm my disabled son needs a quiet room and this is unacceptable. The noise was just as bad I took more videos of a man trying to kick our door down I rang reception for security no answer my husband ran out to restrain him as he was biting guests and he strangled the receptionist armed police turned up then security I did not feel safe after this and I told them this. It was packed with people who were like wild animals screaming all hours day and night not once told to be quiet? It ruined the holiday if I'm honest but you get what you pay for.oh might I add aswell I had earplugs in! Pros Pools nice but could do with a scrub The staff especially the maids are just lovely Local to everything really If you want to party definitely your hotel Cons Noisy like extremely noisy Attracts the wrong kind of people noisy,rude obnoxious The large windows to the room are extremely unsafe can easily be broken into The beds are like concrete The cafe next door is overpriced for the food you get but that's all of plays del Carmen horrible food

The location is great for access to the beach and walk around 5th Ave. The bartenders and the travel shop/scuba shop were great the hotel maintenance and front desk staff were not the best. We did have issues with our rooms and they were fixed eventually except the king room that we booked was not available and we had to share a double bed. Iit’s an older hotel with musty smells and stuck drawers. The pool closed early on a Saturday night (8pm) but the mariachi/karaoke can play until 11pm and the noise will carry into the room. The kelp on the beach is filled with sand fleas and we came home with over 100 sand flea bites between the 5 of us. The buffet was ok but not worth $45 per day per person.

PPengguna TetamuFour family couples rented 4 condos here in Feb 2023. We were there a week. Playa Del Carmen (PDC) is no longer a sleepy fishing village and Google says has 340,000 population. The touristy pedestrian 5th Avenue is flanked by a great music scene reminiscent of New Orleans - IMP. Lots of great live music everywhere, afternoon and evening. As with all tourist destinations it was not inexpensive. While you could find deals (25 peso tacos at The Best Tacos Ever on Mondays) - and local beer from 50 - 65 pesos, hamburgers were 250 pesos at the beach clubs, and we paid as much as 500 pesos for lunch portion of grilled mahi-mahi with a small portion of yam fries. This seemed to always include fresh corn chips, salsa and very often live bands, not mariachis, but 3 to 5 piece bands. This is a new condo hotel residence located at 42nd Street and 5th Avenue, which is 2km north of the ADO bus terminal, the ferry terminal and the centre of the tourist area all of which are on 5th Avenue. It is about 4 blocks to the clean and modern Chadraui Grocery store and 4 blocks to the beach. It is a very pretty building with marble floors, open air lobby with front desk and coffee shop. Great cappuccino. The front desk is manned during the day time. Carlos was friendly, spoke English fluently and was very helpful. The desk’s job was to call the owner if there was a problem with a suite. There is a security person at the building lobby entrance 24 hours. Fresh linens were on Wednesday. This is not a full service hotel. The condo units are owned by different people - meaning, to us, each unit has different kitchen supplies and maintenance, for example. The one bedroom units have two bathrooms, and are designed to be locked off to create 2 separate units. The square footage of what you are renting is listed on the website. Check this carefully to know what you are renting. We had a full ( both parts - Suite 205 and 205L) of a one bedroom suite with balcony. One part would be bedroom with king bed, TV and bath. The other part has kitchen, table height dining bar for 4, TV and a pull out couch and bathroom. The building opened November 2021 and with travel restrictions, I am guessing this season could be considered their first. Like all new buildings, it has construction glitches to be worked out. Hot water was intermittent, water pressure was highly variable and for 24 hours there was no water. The safe in 205L did not work. One of our group (305 and 305L) had next day service (24 hours +) on getting their safe open when it failed. The entrance key for the suite is kept in a lock box beside the entrance door. You will be given a code to access your key. The locks are fussy. We requested and received a key card for the second entrance door. The balcony doors slide back to create a full open air kitchen. The bedroom had blackout curtains. The kitchen had dishes and cutlery for 4. It had 2 non-stick fry pans and assorted non-stick pots and cooking implements. There was
