Cura Sol

Very nice hotel, at the top of one of the many hills, at the Island. The uphill hotel is a nice place to relax, and enjoy and spend time, but also for a base, if you want to see the Island. Dont panic about the uphill place, since there is an elevator to take you to the reception, but also to your level of room, when you've checked in. The reception is the first spot to stop, and the staff is very friendly, just like all the other people there, including the cleaning team. They are always smiling and give you a nice service. Our room was always clean and comfy. No problem there. You will always find friendly staff, who will help or guide you, if you need anything og have a question. Sometimes there was a small amount of waiting time at the reception, som maybe an extra staff member would be great now and then. just like the rooms, the whole hotel seemed very nice and clean at all places, except the restaurant, who could be a step better. The cups and glasses was not cleaned good enough, and we looked at several cup and glasses, before finding a clean one. The breakfast wasn't that great, but it was included with our stay, but you can buy this as an add-on, if you want. I think, I would buy something at the local supermercado SPAR instead. At the 14 days stay there, the breakfast was good though at least two days! We wasn't even there more than half of the days, since the cleaning was terrible! These two days the breakfast was great, the rest wasn't. I think there was another chef at work these days? But yeah, nothing special. The food at the restaurant and the snack offered at the pool area is great though, but from 2023 to 2024, the staff was a bit different in mind, and the service was 3/6 I think. At least there was a smile, but the waiting time was long, when you wanted a nice icecoffe or something else. The year before (2023) the service at the pool area was superb! But please step up at the cleaning in the restaurants cups and wash section, and the breakfast buffet! It's a shame! But overall, a nice and quiet hotel, who has a nice familiar look and atmosphere, and that's why we came back. The view from the rooms are special. Just love it, from the morning breaks, until the night take over. I can sit and watch all day, and always something to see and empty you mind. Great! So lovely rooms, and balcony air most of the rooms. This year we had one of the top rooms, the premier room, but for the price, you should consider, if you want the lower levels? Up to you. But you get an extraordinary view. There are many stairs up, but nothing for a healthy soul. If you need an umbrella for the balcony, you need to pay. That includes towels, for the pool too, but that's absolutely fair. The rooms are much the same in my eyes, from lower level to this one at the top section. it's a little 80/90's in the rooms interior, but enjoyed both stays, and its still lovely. We have stayed at Curasol many times during the last years.This year we stay 4 weeks. No aircondition. Does not matter! All the rest is superb. All the employes are very polite and kindly. We will come back next year,and the years after!

Hi just stayed at apartment Curasol in Playa del Cura. I stayed in apartment 603, it was right at the top. Lovely spacious apartment with Huge balcony plus 3 chairs and a table. I was on a solo vacation. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English. All you can hear whilst drifting off to sleep is the sound of the sea. There are lovely beaches right on your doorstep almost. Loads of activities to book if you are looking for that. Can't wait to return, lovely pools also.

Just returned August 2022 after a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Curasol. Large well appointed apartment, spotlessly clean, great staff. Loved the pool and Jacuzzi and no problem getting sunbeds. 150 metres from the spar supermarket, 5 great restaurants and 2 great bars. A great place to chill out. Will definitely go back. Suggest air con in August which is reasonably priced. Excellent continental breakfast and even the pool bar food was excellent. Taxi rank and bus stop 150 metres away. Taxis are cheap. Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan about 10 minutes away and well worth a visit.

We've just returned from the most relaxing and enjoyable week at Apartamentos Curasol. Curasol is in the perfect location, quiet with beautiful views of the bay and the Spar supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars just a 2 minute walk away. We were a group of 4 adults with 3 apartments booked. All staff were excellent. Friendly and so helpful in making sure our 3 apartments were next to each other ahead of our arrival. The apartments were clean with comfy beds and kitchens stocked with everything you need for easy self-catering. All 3 terraces had sea views and lots of space. The pool area was the best! Amazing views, plenty of sun loungers and even a VIP area if you book a premium apartment. One of our group celebrated a birthday during our stay and had a bottle of bubbly delivered to their door - a little gift from Curasol. We loved our stay and would recommend these apartments to any of our friends and family!

Ottima posizione, zona tranquilla, lontana da caos e locali notturni. Appartamento ben attrezzato con vista oceano, buffet della colazione e della cena abbondante e vario ma purtroppo le pulizie giornaliere (giovedì e domenica non le fanno!?) non sono state adeguate: pavimenti non aspirati e il bagno ripulito sommariamente. Molto curate le aeree esterne e la zona piscine. Nel complesso una piacevolissima vacanza!
