Completely disappointed with the hotel. Paid a higher price as its a 4 star hotel but the look of the hotel and the rooms doesn't even fit for 2 star. Reception is not very good. We have been told that there is no booking reserved for us and we had make calls to Trip. Com to get it sorted. And finally its the receptionist who couldn't able to read our names. No guidance in the hotel and we need to ask for everything to reception and the receptionist clearly doesn't wanna help. Not recommended at all

The location is by the river, and you can walk to the Millennium Bridge and the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. However, the facilities are relatively old and there is no hot water kettle. The only highlight is that the breakfast environment is very good and the variety is very rich.

The hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient for travel. There is a parking lot inside the hotel and it is free. The breakfast is also good and the room is relatively large. There is a small river behind the hotel, the environment is beautiful, and it is very close to the attractions.

The hotel doesn't feel like a four-star standard, it's similar to a fast one. You can stay here if the price is cheap. The strange thing is that some hotel rooms are on the first floor and you need to go down the stairs from the front desk. There is no elevator. It should be very inconvenient to bring big luggage. The room The cleaning smell was strange and the corner of the bathroom shower was not clean. There is a river view outside the hotel and it is not far from the city center.

Rezeption und Lobby sind in einem sehr guten Zustand. Machen auf jeden Fall einen noblen Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind allerdings schrecklich. Der Teppich ist äußerst dreckig und von dem Badezimmer möchte ich gar nicht anfangen. Dort befindet sich in der Dusche Schimmel, die Dusche hat 3 Funktionen, aus allen Löchern läuft Wasser, dementsprechend ist der Druck schwach. Genauso gestaltet sich das bei dem Waschbecken. Es gibt keine Seife, aber eine Seifenschale. Die Klobrille war kleiner als das Klo selbst. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer und waren zu 2, es befand sich aber nur ein Stuhl am Balkon. Frühstück bestand aus Buffet und die 10 € á Person sind es nicht wert. Warme Gerichte waren stets kalt, das Brot war so trocken, als wäre es vom Vortag. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel the receptionist who checked me bin ws was very professional and helpful and friendly. She is a credit to this hotel. I loved all aspects of my stay the room was so spacious clean and comfortable. The only thing that I did not enjoy was breakfast which was very busy and confined space. the food was not to my own taste and trying to get a hot drink was difficult. I later returned to that restaurant for dinner and had a very much better experience. Overall the hotel was fantastic nice stay and I would highly recommend it.

We booked Hotel Podgorica expecting a comfortable 4-star experience. Unfortunately, this hotel may have earned that rating 20 years ago, but it no longer lives up to it. The room was in poor condition – cracked and dirty bathroom fixtures, mold in the shower, peeling walls, exposed wiring, broken toilet buttons, stained carpets, and visible signs of neglect throughout. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. Even the towels looked old dand did not smell fresh, which was deeply unpleasant. The noise was unbearable. The patio—supposedly the highlight of the hotel—was constantly booked for loud events, with music blasting until 3:00 AM. Since the hotel is small, and our room was right next to the patio (as most rooms are), it was impossible to sleep. We were never able to access or enjoy the patio ourselves because it was closed in order to prepare for events or the events themselves. The breakfast was mediocre at best, with limited options. We ended up not staying in the room for two nights out of the three we booked, despite paying in advance, and eventually released the room early. The hotel staff at reception refused any refund due to upfront payment. On a positive note, the AC was working well and the location is very convenient – just a 5–10 minute walk to the city center. We moved to another 4-star hotel in the area, and the difference was night and day – clean, quiet, modern, and professionally run. It really highlighted how far behind Hotel Podgorica has fallen. We do not recommend this hotel unless major renovations and policy changes are made. It is simply not worth the price or the rating it claims.

A very good hotel, well located and easily accessible. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food and service was very good, and the waiter called Vaid was the most polite one. I definitely reccomend it for business or family staying in Podgorica.

Outdated hotel, rooms, entrance and service. Rooms are in bad condition (we had 3), shower is broken in one, bathroom is dripping or the shower handle don't exist, vent in the bathroom don't work, the next one don't have safe while others have, stupid rules like 10 euro charge if you lose your room key (go figure), and much more. I am unfortunately so upset with this stay that I recommend to avoid it. I will share only one picture. I think it says it all.

Kind stuff, peaceful atmosphere, used room, not so clean, could be better for it's price, overall it's good location for traveling around the city, especially for those who want to be close to city center, recommendation.

This is not only a hotel, but a sightseeing of the city. The location is great. You can have a nice walk to the park and to the river and at the same time to walk to the city center. Nevertheless it is very quiet. The atmosphere is that of the communist period. The staff was helpful and the rooms big, well equipped but a little bit dated. The only thing I found average was the breakfast. There was a numerous choice but the quality not really great. Even if you don't stay there, visit the café for the great view.

I was in the hotel with my partner for 4 nights, and here is our experience. 1) A hotel has the rooms downstairs, and if you are a girl or an elderly person, you could suffer bringing your luggage down the spiral stairs without the help of the hotel members. No elevators, no bell boys, nothing. 2) We didn't have a safety deposit box which had been promised in the booking details. After a few attempts to get it, we got an annoyed answer that it's broken and if we need something to store, we can leave it on the reception... leave money and valuable goods to the reception, where it's every day a new receptionist. One moment we decided to ask for a discount because we hadn't had a promised amenity and received an answer that everybody asks for a discount. Should we, as a guests, care about who asks them about the discount? Finally, after our decision to talk to the manager, the safe deposit box finally mysteriously appeared next morning. Truth to be told, it's magic. 3) We also didn't a Do Not Disturb sign, and it was quite an adventure to get it. For some reason, we had to ask it several times, and finally we got it. Not sure what was the problem here, but okay. 4) Also, when we booked the room, we certainly mentioned that there are going to be 2 adults in it, but suddenly we hadn't found any amenities for a second person. No 2nd slippers, no shampoo/conditioner stuff, not even a second hand towel. After our question we finally got a second pair of those, but, guess what, the next day the 2nd hand towel disappeared. 5) Sometimes you, as a guest, can use a piece of tableware in the room for your needs, such as using a glass, for example. So did we, and left it on the table, being certain that the hotel staff could accomplish such as simple task as washing their glass. It was quite obvious that it was used. It is not like we, as a room guests, have detergents to clean it. They ignored us. We left it untouched to see what happens next day. They ignored us. We ordered a food at their room service and left this glass among other tableware from this dinner, in the middle of it, and... they left it alone dirty on the dirty table. 6) One day they brought us a single roll of toiler paper while we had 2 on the check-in day. Typical rolls of hotel toilet paper aren't the largest one, neither were these ones. Next morning before leaving the hotel for our trip I asked the receiptionist to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper this time. They did so. Next cleaning day they left us with even less than 1 whole roll. Not sure why I had to ask them every day. 7) Another morning we came to the breakfast, which was included and wasn't bad, and my partner decided to make a cappucino from the coffee machine located in the breakfast area. So she chose the beverage, pushed the button, and there was no milk, only coffee. After a while she decided to ask the restaurant staff about this problem, and the waitress found that there was no milk in the coffee machine. After replenishing

Excellent location and closeness to the city staff is very kind but the hotel needs a kind of improvement generally building furniture etc. Great potential though. I would reccomend this place for a stay.

We stayed at this hotel on April 26, the first day of our visit to Montenegro, and we are staying at this hotel on May 1-2. We are experiencing more problems than we experienced in our first stay. During our first stay, they forgot to put an extra bed in the room for our children, and when we entered the room, there was a sign on the shower glass saying "the shower is defective, do not use it". When they came to the room and looked at it, they said that they had just seen such a writing on the window. Like a joke. When we came to the hotel today; They gave us another room on the first floor we stayed in, and when we entered this room, the same situation happened again. It said, 'The shower is faulty, please do not use it.' At the hotel where we came as 4 people, they put an extra bed in the room. When we came to the reception and asked why there was a bed missing; They said that a football team was staying at the hotel and all the extra beds were in other rooms and the hotel was completely full and they could not give an extra bed. Where will our second child stay? The young man who spoke to us at the reception behaves disrespectfully and arrogantly, and talks to you while chewing gum. The really funny thing is this: The same person said that 'a Belgian family had previously stayed at the hotel and they had written off the showers as a solution because they broke the shower glass.' However, he said the showers were working but unfortunately the showers were not working. Let's explain which of the mistakes... After these processes, when I talked to the hotel manager on the phone, they said that they would give a second room for my children. It's surprising that they give us a surprise room in the hotel which is fully booked. The manager stated that the showers in the rooms were faulty and that there were other malfunctions. You are a 4-star hotel and you cannot be so amateur that you cannot fix the malfunctions. The problems in the hotel have not been fixed until 5 days have passed since our first stay. The shower is broken again. There is no person at the hotel to carry your luggage, you carry your luggage yourself as there is no elevator, the minibar is empty, the rooms are not clean. There are dirty water stains on the carpets at the entrance of the bathroom. Hotel rooms are very old and worn out. I can only say that the location is good. It's definitely a hotel I won't recommend.

I usually write rather restrained reviews, I even gave myself time to cool down, but the memories still make themselves felt. I remember how I walked into the reception with 2 huge suitcases and the look of the man behind the counter fell on me in bewilderment. They told me something in Montenegrin, I apologized and answered in English that I didn’t understand it. To which he fell silent. He didn't even offer to help me! I am a girl 155 cm tall!!! I have 2 suitcases containing 30 kg or more, one of which kept falling!!! Was it really impossible to show at least a little bit of concern and help? At first I thought that the problem was a language barrier, but then my husband came in with 2 of his heavy suitcases, started talking to him in English and he started answering him!!! We were not offered a trolley for our suitcases, although there was one, we later saw it ourselves in the corridor. The attitude of the staff was, to put it mildly, not very good. This is the first time I’ve encountered this in Montenegro, although I’ve already lived here for 9 months and I know how good, kind, sympathetic and welcoming everyone is. But not at this hotel. The room was dirty, the furniture looked like it was from Soviet films, the flush button in the toilet stuck and took on a life of its own. It was also surprising to see a sign that you cannot bring your own food and drinks into your room... it was just some kind of joke! The breakfast was the most tasteless in Montenegro, worse than this was only 1 restaurant, where they brought me pizza with a hair from the chef. It would seem how you can ruin bacon and scrambled eggs, but it turned out to be easy. Overall, I highly recommend not staying at this place unless you have no other choice.
