Особености: 1) Очень маленькие номера (размеры как в отелях Гонг-конга или старых зданиях европейских городов). Вдвоем в номере перемещаться будет тесновато, чемодан полноценно раскрыть можно только на балконе. 2) Бесплатных лежаков не хватает на всех, поэтому занимать удобные места надо с вечера или рано утром. 3) Персонал в баре у бассейна иногда хитрит, работая без чеков или продавая напитки по цене выше, чем в меню. Плюсы: 1) Чисто и ухожено все, включая номера, общие зоны и территорию вокруг отеля. Номер убирали каждый день. 2) Большой собственный бассейн, достаточно много лежаков вокруг него, также вокруг есть своя зеленая зона на траве с лежаками под зонтами или в тени сосен и кипарисов. 3) Неплохой ресторан-столовая с напитками, включенными в стоимость завтраков и ужинов. За 2 недели отдыха надоесть не успел, блюда на ужине меняются каждый вечер, по четвергам день местной кухни. 4) Детей бесплатно кормят обедами. Для семей с детьми это просто спасение. 5) Множество бесплатных развлечений в течение всего дня, начиная от аквагимнастики йоги и волейбола и заканчивая дискотекой для детей и шоу для взрослых по вечерам. Ксждый найдет что-то свое. 6) Хороший пляж в 1 минуте хотьбы от отеля. Нет необходимости платить за лежаки на пляже - можно оставлять вещи на лежаках у бассейна и ходить купаться в море.

Cons: The hotel was built many decades ago. Therefore, there is no elevator in it and you will have to drag your suitcase up the stairs. First from the reception to the lobby, then depending on the building where you were settled. If in building C in second floor, then 3 more floors on your own with all the luggage. I do not know the reason, but the smell at the reception and in the lobby is very bad: periodically it smells of sewage. The lobby looks very nice with new and good furniture, and we would really like to sit there, chat, maybe play something, but the smell of drain forced us to leave this floor as soon as possible. The same smell is observed in other places on the peninsula when you walk around the pools of other hotels. Maybe the reason for the smell in the lobby is the pool, which is located on the same level behind the wall? Well, knowing that doesn't help with the smell. Dear management, please fix it. The rooms are VERY small. I've never been in such a small bathroom before. I've never sat on such a small toilet. I've never showered in such a small shower. Well, but everything was clean and seems to be recently refurbished. It is OK for short or business stay.

Ich bin alleine ohne voraus zu buchen nach Novigrad gekommen, das Hotel hat mich angesprochen. Nach einem kurzen Gespräch mit einer Mitarbeiterin konnte man mir noch ein Zimmer vermieten, leider ohne Balkon und ohne Sicht aufs Meer. Selber schuld würd ich sagen, wenn man ohne zu buchen hingeht. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, für eine Person sowieso. Das Frühstück ist für mich als kleinen Esser völlig ausreichend, jedoch begrenzt sich die Auswahl auf 4qm. Die Qualität hingegen ist in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Bademöglichkeiten gibt es ab 15m vom Hotel entfernt zu genüge. Im Großen und Ganzen für 3 Tage völlig in Ordnung und ausreichend. Leider musste ich trotzdem den Preis für 2 Personen im Doppelzimmer bezahlen.

Hotel “Lone” is located in a beautiful park, near the sea, about 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of the picturesque town of Rovinj. The building itself and the interior design of the hotel are a masterpiece of contemporary architecture. Hotel “Lone” is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels on the entire Adriatic coast and the only member of the “Design Hotels” group in Croatia. All public areas of the hotel, as well as the rooms, are extremely spacious, full of light, with minimalist contemporary decoration. All furniture, artwork and staff uniforms are specially designed for the hotel. Hotel “Lone” is designed as a five-star hotel. It has a large congress centre and a magnificent spa, as well as several restaurants. As there are two other very luxurious hotels in the vicinity of this hotel, which belong to the same “Maistra” hotel group, “Lone”, apart from being a congress hotel, is primarily intended for slightly younger guests and families with children. The hotel's ambience and its guests could be described with some of the following words: image conscious, business, casual luxury, wellness. The staff is very professional and efficient. During my stay, I stayed in the Premium Room, which is beautifully decorated, with all amenities. Perhaps the in-room bar offering could be slightly improved. The room also has a balcony with a view of the park. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with “Malin+Goetz” toiletries. The cleanliness is impeccable. Turn-down service is not provided for this type of room, which might be expected from a hotel of this category. As “Lone” is a very big hotel, breakfast can be a bit chaotic, but the staff really tries. The choice of food is very good. In addition, for lunch or dinner the offer of food and drinks in the hotel is diverse: there is a restaurant that specializes in burgers and is also possible to try some classic dishes of Croatian and international cuisine. In addition, the hotel also has a superb Japanese-Asian restaurant “Tekka” with an excellent offer. The wellness area extends to 1,700 square meters. As well as the entire hotel, it amazes with its decoration. Everything is perfectly maintained. Perhaps the only thing that should be provided is a more cosmetics. In short, “Lone” is a phenomenal hotel. If, by any chance, a little more attention was paid to the personalized service, as well as the food and drink offer, the hotel would certainly be one of the best in the Mediterranean.
