Oporto City Flats - the White Box House

We stayed in the family room for one night and found the hotel perfect. A super spot for sightseeing and extremely comfortable, spacious rooms with a lovely lounge/breakfast area that guests are free to use. The staff are what made the experience. Absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at this b&b with family. It is very well located.. We really enjoyed it as it is v.homely. Excellent breakfast&coffee always avlb in the lounge Friendly staff ,very helpful. Highly recommend this plc.. We stayed in rooms# 3&4. Porto is a lovely city..below this plc many good restaurants too

Lovely stay at the whitebox. Staff friendly, offered help with bags as there is no elevator. Didn’t bother us as we didn’t mind the extra exercise but I can see if you have mobility issues this would pose a challenge. We were in room 6, too floor, large space. Nice and bright with skylight. Very private and quiet. Breakfast just perfect, the lady who takes care of breakfast was very friendly. Location superb. Quiet area, pedestrian street. 10-15mins to get anywhere in Porto.. Would highly recommend

Fantastic hotel in center of Porto. Great hospitality, delicious breakfast, quiet, very near Metro and the main market Its on a pedestrian street, so it is very quiet. There are wonderful restaurants nearby.

This company is very unserious regarding legal documents (invoice issues). Do not book if you need invoice on the company. If you are traveling for business and need invoices this company is not willing to issue legal document!!!

This is a fantastic hotel in the centre of Porto. The rooms are superb and spacious with excellent decor. The breakfast every morning is delicious with variety and coped with my gluten free diet, no problem. We arrange an airport transfer with the owner and again 5* service. Highly recommended.

Spaventata da una recensione negativa (letta dopo la conferma della prenotazione) sono partita con molti dubbi e tornata con una certezza; non sempre le recensioni aiutano. Non è un hotel ma un B&B, pulitissimo, arredato bene e con una colazione buona con una giusta scelta fra frutta, dolce, salato e bevande. Silenzioso ma in pieno centro, vicinissimo alla metro fermata Bolao. Bisogna solo avvertire che le scale sono ripide e se sei in mansarda molto ripide e devi essere se non atletico, almeno in forma ma soprattutto con un piccolo bagaglio! Detto ciò per me ampiamente promosso

L'unica cosa positiva la posizione della struttura in posizione centralissima. Per il resto tutto da dimenticare. Le foto non sono veritiere, sicuramente photoshoppate eccessivamente, colazione scarsa, scala per accedere all'ultimo piano scomoda e impossibile da salire con valigie pesanti. Rapporto qualita' prezzo inferiore alla realta'

L'albergo è in zona centrale, con una bella scalinata e una bella zona comune per la colazione. Fine dei pregi. Le camere sono MOLTO più piccole e messe male visto che tutte le foto usate sono ritoccate e con ampio uso del grandangolo. I pavimenti in legno scricchiolano facendo TANTO rumore anche quando a camminare sono i clienti della stanza affianco. Assurdo. Sono abituato al parquet per terra ma così è eccessivo, sembra veramente di avere qualcuno in camera che cammina. Le stanze sono sporche, con lenzuola macchiate e muri con zanzare spiaccicate e relative macchie di sangue. Gli infissi delle finestre sono scrostati e messi male, opportunamente photoshoppati. La TV in camera è rotta. Il condizionatore di marca infima non si regola molto bene ed essendo piazzato sul letto, o ti congeli o stai al caldo umido persistente. Sulle pareti del bagno ci sono appiccicati capelli e peli. I pavimenti sono "gommosi", ballano di brutto quando qualcuno o qualcosa cammina pestando i piedi o cade per terra nelle altre camere. La colazione a buffet è decente, ma a questo prezzo è davvero inaccettabile proporre una sistemazione del genere. Per la prima volta in vita mia, voglio che le ferie finiscano per potermene tornare a casa.
