Hotel terbaik di Selfoss

We were working our way around the ring road and originally staying at Vik, but we weren't happy with our hotel. We decided to move further west and found 360 along the way. It is tucked away behind a Christmas tree forest, with a cold plunge, hot spring pool, and a sauna. The decor is really nice, and service was great. They also have two friendly dogs walking around the property that are fun to see. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable, as we had the best night sleep so far of our trip here (10 days in). What really raised the bar was the food. I'm a big eater, and following a carnivore diet, so that can be challenging sometimes. Their chef totally understood the assignment and nailed it out of the park, as my wife and I had a wonderful steak dinner with very generous portions. Breakfast was included, and it was excellent, with fresh cooked eggs, bacon, and an assortment of hams, cheeses, fruits and more. My only regret was not staying here longer.

We were completely satisfied and would have liked to stay longer if we could. We were delighted with the quiet location. The rooms are simple, the hot tub invites you to linger in the evening and the breakfast is lovingly prepared by the owners. We will gladly come back again.

We had a nice night at Country Dream. Our room although not large, was comfortable. we had 1 bedroom and a pull out sofa.... but wait.... The pull out sofa was not like any normal one where you have to pull everything off and have a bar in your back, it was a case of simply pulling a cord and the whole sofa turned upside down into a bed that was as comfortable as the bed in the bedroom. It took 20 seconds to pull out the bed and 20 seconds to put it back the next morning. The room had a small kitchenette which was adequate for cooking a simple meal. There was also a hot tub available to use with our room. As a bonus, we were invited to go into the stable to visit the owner's very friendly Icelandic horses. He also organised for a beautiful Icelandic Sheepdog to come and visit us. Country Dream is on a horse farm about 5 - 15 minutes drive from the main road between Geysir and Selfoss depending on the conditions. In the right conditions, it would give a great opportunity to see the Northern lights. If you are staying here in winter, I recommend that you ask your rental car company to provide you with a car with metal beads (studs) in the tyres as the road was very icy when we left due to rainfall and freezing temperatures.

Absolutely amazing our stay at this hotel. After 2 rough nights in others hotels this was a cherry on the top. It was my husband and I anniversary so we decided to booked this hotel to chill and enjoy our time. Staff were nice at the lobby, hotel comes with free parking, lobby was very nice and stylish, room were spacious and super modern, free buffet style breakfast A+++ and for 30 dollars extra you could use the sauna, steam and massage facility. Hotel its in downtown selfoss so everything was nearby and it's such a cute little town. I definitely recommend this hotel worth the extra money.

Great location and nice view from our king room with river view. Bed was comfy and room was very clean. Desk personnel were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I can't comment on the value, as it was part of a package tour as prices were not broken out of total, but we would definitely stay there again. We had prepaid for breakfast, which was excellent, but we did not otherwise dine at the hotel restaurant, so can't comment on that.

Overall we loved our stay at Grimsborgir, but I would like to begin by mentioning a few aspects that can be improved. When we arrived the room seemed dusty, as if not used by other guests for a long time and then not freshened up before we arrived. This improved after the first night. The cleaning staff also made a few mistakes like taking towels without replacing them and forgetting items like wiping cloths or cleaning sprays in random places - this happened on 3 out of 6 days. Also the design of the double bed was a bit minimalistic - it did not have a headboard - compared to other double beds from less expensive rooms in your hotel this is a mild disappointment. Overall we were very happy with our stay in your hotel - we had everything we needed and we would gladly stay with you again. I just have one question which I would be very grateful if you could answer me. What kind of mattress did the double bed have? We found it to be extremely pleasant to sleep on and I would like to buy one if you could tell me where from.
