I am very disappointed that out of all hotel in Prague we needed up with Ambassador hotel ! Since day 1 and the staff are not friendly nor helpful though we are traveling with an infant and a toddler! The room is not clean either ! we have found a spider web dangling on the rooms’ ceiling ! The worst part of when we try calling the front desk , their phone seems to be damaged and they cut the line as they can’t listen . We had a 6 hours flight and we need to be comfortable and happy with finally reaching the hotel but this hotel is definitely not what I was expecting or hoping to experience . This is the first experience at Prague and I hope I don’t get disappointed further.

Extrêmement déçu pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. C était notre seconde venue sur Prague en amoureux. Nous avons l habitude de parcourir l Europe plusieurs fois par an pour ces occasions là. Nous avions pris une suite junior : insonorisation déplorable, cheveux dans la salle de bain, bonde de baignoire sale Le petit déjeuner n est pas à la hauteur : jus de fruits en supplément, café expresso en supplément, 2 ou 3 variété de thé en sachets bas de gamme, les tables de restauration ne sont pas nettoyées au fur et à mesure. Dans la salle de petit-déjeuner, certains éléments du personnel ne sont pas attentifs et passent leur temps à ”glousser” appuyées à 2 ou 3 personnes sur le meuble de couverts. L aspirateur est passé au moment du petit déjeuner. Une seule taille d'oreiller disponible, il s'agit d'oreillers dossiers, extrêmement décoratifs mais peu confortables pour le sommeil, et si vous demandez, aucun autre format n'est possible. Un peu de mobilier cassé. Cela gâche une chambre exceptionnelle, un personnel malgre tout agréable et une localisation privilégiée. Bref pour un Ibis 3 étoiles, j aurais dit excellent, pour un 5 étoiles ce n est pas admissible. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

We were a group of 6 people and booked 3 rooms, I have requested separate beds for all the rooms and our requests were noted and rooms were prepared as we wanted when we arrived. The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood and very close to a shopping mall, once passing through the mall, you will be right at a more busy area with lots of restaurants, shops and public transportation. The hotel location is excellent, we can go to all the famous sights around 10-15 minutes by foot, or easily take public transportation to outskirt of the city. In additional to the great location, the rooms were good size and very clean, the daily breakfast offered at the hotel was great, there were good selections for breakfast and we were all satisfied with the food quality. The most important part was the hotel staff, they were all very friendly, not only they helped us to book the car service to airport, pointed us best way to get on hop-on-hop-off bus, they even arranged a breakfast-to-go box for my early departure since I had to check out the hotel by 4am. This was this first time we visited Prague, Michelangelo Grand Hotel has made me feel like home, I will definitely stay here if I visit Prague again!

Booking from 14/02/2023 to 21/02/2023 for 4 people in BHG APARTMENT We overnight stay in APARTMENT 2 and on 20/02/2023 (dd/mm/yy) from 2 p.m. the water felts in our apartment so we had unease about hygiene and services (cooking included). We talked with reception and they said that we had to wait. At 6 p.m. we called again the reception to search for more information and we waiting until 7:30 p.m. They called us and said that finally we’ve been change our apartment with another. We were really tired (in order to not having a place were we could relax ourselves for hours before go out again in the night). So on, the other apartment was far from the first hotel; far from the central place (OLD TOWN SQUARE) where we want to overnight stay and of what we payed; and it also was in a place not really quite. The apartment was really bad, doesn’t respect the standards of a 4 stars hotel because it was really dirty, smaller, fetiscent and with no services (bidet, terrace, hob, oven…). We hadn’t a room from 2 p.m. if we liked to have a shower, we couldn’t! It was 9 p.m. and we really don’t even know where we had to sleep, where we had to go to the toilet and where we had to put our 6 luggage! The girl who stayed at the reception, Tatsiana, (and her manager too) propose us to have the night free and stay in that bad apartment, and also they will give us a voucher from 200 CROWN (exactly 8 euros) so on we could spend it for a dinner in the terrace with a special sit to admire the view! For what? If we’ve accepted, where we’ve to sleep? Certainly not in that dirty apartment! Obviously we said no and reject her propose (you can’t buy people with money or offer them a voucher from 200 crowns, when they are telling you that don’t have a place to overnight stay!) Over that, she told us that she was already called others hotels looking for a room, but they were all full! And also their sisterhood hotel and their presidential rooms was full! That’s no possibile! There are so many hotels near by Old Town Square! And a real hotel can’t be full on a Monday in February! Hotels always have a spare rooms! After 30/40 minutes a man come to us telling that they found a room in another hotel who was 2 minutes from “Hotel U Prince”! Weren’t it all full?! It was 10 p.m and we were really mad, tired and we couldn’t enjoy our last night in Prague! Leave and learn. I will never recommend this hotel.

Great hotel! We checked in right at 8pm and the receptionist was so nice to stay past closing to get us checked in. We stayed four nights and on the second day we noticed that our sink was leaking water everywhere. We called reception and they immediately came u pro look at the situation and moved us to another room. It was a nicer room which was great but we appreciated how quickly they resolved the problem. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. We also liked that there was a fridge and the AC. The location is great because there’s cheaper food places around the hotel but it’s like a 20 minute walk to the main square. Overall we loved this hotel and totally recommend it especially with the price.

I don't often leave reviews, as I always give the hotels a chance to rectify issues which are usually resolved. I've worked in the same industry for over 15 years, and dislike the reviewers who have not given the hotel a chance to rectify an issue before posting. However on this occasion I was very disappointed. I had explained to reception that my room was not cooling down with the air conditioning, which was advertised for your rooms when I had made this booking. I was told maybe I wasn't doing it correctly. I explained I did it correctly. I was told that maybe I should open the window instead. When I had said that it was very noisy and my room was right by the highway. There was also someone watering the plants with a jet at around 10pm on that very day. I was then told the air-conditioning units do not work until later on in the year. If they do not work, then why was I asked if I understood how to use it. It just felt like the receptionist was contraditing themselves. I just came from a short break in tenerife and also had an issue. The only difference was I had maintenance resolving the issue. Not once was I offered to speak to the duty manager if you have one. I wasn't offered maintenance to have a look. I wasn't offered anything to make my stay better apart from something like ”I'm sorry there's not a lot we can do”. Now to the positive parts. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the mall and the trams are easy to get around. The hotel is generally quite good for the price you pay. The other bonus about this hotel was the unique cable cart. Unfortunately I've had to cut my holiday short and I had decided to book a hotel where the air-conditioning is actually working as advertised.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel, which is situated in a great area. We found so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, markets, parks and shops in Zizkov and Vinohrady that, on this occasion, we rarely chose to travel into the city centre. However, if you do wish to visit the centre, or indeed anywhere in Prague, there is an abundance of first-rate travel options at your disposal. The hotel itself is exceptional,  with large rooms, which are  very clean and comfortable. There is also a fantastic breakfast buffet avaliable.  All amenities are provided to make your stay a home from home. Hotel Carlton is a hidden gem, and front office manager Blanka and all the members of staff with whom we were in contact (receptionists/breakfast/housekeeping) could not have been more professional, personable and helpful. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Carlton next year. Taking everything into account (hotel, location, staff, atmosphere) we simply wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Prague.  Very highly recommended.

Things I liked: * Excellent location * Reasonable price * Very good breakfast * The front desk people are superb. Thank you, Martin and Jacob. * Bed was comfortable and I really liked the pillow. * The room amenities are meager, but perfectly adequate. Time in Prague shouldn't be spent in your room, except to sleep! Things I disliked: * Small shower. I'm slim yet I felt very, very cramped. If you're a large person, you will hate the shower. I'd be inclined to get wet, turn off the water and then rinse off, but the shower has a manual temperature controller (the norm in the US, but more rare in Europe) so if you turn off the water and turn it back on, it won't be the same temperature. * Noise. It's next door to a bar that plays loud and/or live music, and on the weekends, you can hear it until 2 or 3am, even if your room isn't facing it or the street. Also, because it's an old building, the plumbing is not insulated, so when somebody in an adjacent room (same or different floor) flushes their toilet, it's loud. Unlike the shower, you can overcome this with earplugs. * Keys. There are three keys (two metal, one electronic), and the keyring also has a large wooden fob identifying the room number. The thing is bulky and uncomfortable to put in your pocket if you're wearing slim pants. * Locks. After hours, you have to pass many locked doors on the way to the room. It's tedious. Conclusion: If location is important and you're not sensitive to the issues above, the I would recommend this hotel. If I return to Prague, I'd look for a different hotel with this value profile, but if I couldn't find one, I'd be very content to stay here again.

We spend 2023 New years eve there (3 nights) delicious breakfast, staff incredible friendly and serviceable. The rooms are nice and with good space. They have the option of A/C if you want it. Location it's in the middle of everything, walking distance to the places you need to see. They have elevator They even let us keep one of ours group members room for free to store our luggage on the last day so we can explore Prague even more. This is going to be our Hotel selection for Prague every time. Thank you

I was looking for a reasonably priced room for 2 people/2 nights that is a) close to Lucerna Music Bar and b) has a nearby metro station so we could leave for the airport very early in the morning City Leaf met all those conditions. It's a simple and comfortable room in the heart of Prague. Private location, quiet, and clean. The room had a good Wi-Fi and TV had Netflix. Check-in is done online by filling the form with all the information about quests. You will then get a code that works as a key. Since I didn't get this information from trip.com, I wrote directly to the hotel the night before and they answered very quickly and in good English. The only thing that we missed was air conditioning as the weather was really hot. Luckily it was possible to open the windows. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We visited for 4 nights and 5 days, we arrived very early into Prague on a Friday Morning and unfortunately check in wasn't until 3 for us. We asked the lady at reception at around 2pm if we could perhaps check in an hour early and with some luck a room had just been cleaned. The room was spacious for a booking of two. I would say the whole room & bathroom were spotless throughout our stay. Air con didn't work as well as we would have liked as it was around 28 degrees for a few days of our stay but we found having the window opened sufficed. Our rooms were made up each day if we asked and towels were replenished if we wanted them to be. The decor in the room is slightly outdated (carpet went over the skirting board which was a little strange) and a red curtain acts as a cover for the wardrobe but no issues. The shower was amazing and I almost wished I could have packed it and brought it home due to the water pressure and the temperatures. Never struggled to get hot water no matter what time of day. We really enjoyed the breakfast selection but after 2 days of our stay it became a bit samey. The breakfast isn't really changed no alternatives added or changed very bog standard toast, eggs, potatoes, sausages, cereals and yoghurts (pancakes if you were quick enough to grab one). This was included in our stay so we did make the most and went down each morning. One minor gripe - our room was cleaned whilst we had been out in the morning, and on return at about 2:30 the toilet roll hadn't been replenished ( but the one roll we had before leaving had also been removed, so perhaps the cleaner went to replenish and forgot ?) I went down to reception to ask for some toilet roll and was met with a bit of a disgruntled receptionist who kept insisting the cleaner had until 3pm to sort the room out but I had argued it had already been cleaned etc but no toilet roll. I gave in and tried using the toilets in the reception and to my surprise there was no toilet roll here either. I went back to the room, 3pm rolled back around and still no sign of said toilet roll. It eventually arrived at about 3:35 (very apologetic cleaner) but not super happy with how the situation was dealt with. I felt I had no choice but to wait to actually be able to use the rest room which wasn't really the answer. I offered to find the cleaner and fetch it myself but the receptionist wasn't having any of this. The location for this hotel however could not have been more perfect for the price. We were right in the middle of it all, easy access to the shops, main roads and old town. Even though it was really busy out we couldn't hear any of this inside our room. I would recommend bringing your own hair dryer as this was very outdated ( very small and now powerful, it also required holding the button through the whole process). Our room had a perfect sized fridge and safe which we made good use out of. Overall if we visited Prague again we would definitely stay again. They also of

Para empezar, llegar allí después de haber arribado a la ciudad en avión, resultó sencillo, pues tomamos primero un bus desde el aeropuerto que nos acercó a una estación de metro, donde tomamos la línea A y nos bajamos en la estación Mustek, la cual queda en pleno centro, en la Plaza Wesceslao, prácticamente a tres cuadras del hotel. La persona de la recepción muy amable, la habitación, que era para dos, era pequeña, pero bien organizada y limpia, con baño compartido, el cual permanecía muy aseado. El hotel ofrecía un desayuno muy bien servido, estilo buffet, no muy variado, pero suficiente y saludable. Me gustó mucho que por la calle del hotel había un mercadillo muy simpático para hacer compras de souvenirs, además todo era relativamente cercano y fácil de recorrer, como ir a la Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, o caminar por la Plaza Wesceslao para hacer shopping, o simplemente perderse por los callejones admirando los lindos adornos en murano y cristal de bohemia, o las famosas muñecas matrioskas. Praga es, sin duda alguna, una ciudad muy bella para contemplar y hosped**** en este alojamiento lo hace encantador y sencillo. Lo recomiendo!!
