The location is great and the staff we met on check-in were lovely. We found parking in the side street which was handy for checking in and out but be mindful of the two hour limits. We booked 4 rooms in total and I stayed two nights. Unfortunately the pub accommodation isn't soundproofed so expect deafening noise Friday and Saturday nights until after midnight. The shared bathroom facilities were let down by lack of regular cleaning, pink mould and no temperature regulation in the shower. Expect cold or hot shower... no in-between. The pillows in the rooms were more like strangled socks in a pillow case and the mattress needs a topper as the springs poke into your back. There's nowhere to hang wet towels in your room and if you get hot you'll have to open a window and put on the desk fan. For $70 a night in Gertrude Street in Prahran it's super affordable... especially during the period of the Australian Open. If you're not fussy about where you sleep or shower and are planning a late night downstairs at the pub, this is your place! Better than a Bali backpackers.

Lokasi sangat baik. Berjalan kaki singkat ke kedua-dua hujung Acland St dan makanan lewat petang tersedia di beberapa tempat. Bilik itu sangat bersih tetapi meja sisi katil memerlukan lap tambahan. Banyak pilihan teh dan kopi berkualiti yang ditawarkan. Bunyi trem pasti boleh didengari dari awal pagi tetapi jika anda mencari pengalaman bandar, ia hanya berada dalam dengung umum bunyi Melbourne bandar. Meja Penyambut Tamu ditutup pada pukul 8 malam, jadi ambil perhatian perkara ini kerana Trip tidak akan memberikan butiran hubungan anda untuk penerimaan menghubungi anda dan mengesahkan maklumat ini. Perlu menghubungi kaunter penerimaan tetamu selepas kami masuk ke dalam bilik kami: tiada jawapan. Selepas berdering 3 kali, mengalah. Harap maklum, apabila Cosmo mengambil deposit bilik anda sebanyak $150, mereka mengenakan caj kepada anda sebanyak 2.5% yang tidak akan dibayar balik ($3.75). Ini adalah amalan perniagaan yang sangat cerdik (tidak sah, kami percaya) dan kami memberitahu mereka bahawa kami akan menghubungi Hal Ehwal Pengguna, kerana mereka juga menolak alternatif pembayaran tunai untuk mengelakkan bayaran ini (kerana Covid). Penyambut tetamu kanan sangat memahami dan dengan hormatnya mengatasi bayaran, tetapi ia adalah sesuatu yang perlu diberi perhatian. Mencemarkan apa yang pada asasnya, penginapan yang hebat di hotel bernilai baik.

Pluses: - Loved our experience - both hotel and location. - Staff are fantastic and super friendly. Nothing is an issue - we felt very welcome. - Room was great, quiet and comfortable. It's an old building which has been spruced up with new paint and furnishings. - Bed was excellent and room very clean. Room for improvement - One of the lifts (there's only 2) is terribly slow and should be replaced. - There's only so much you can do with an old building but we had no complaints.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were large, giving enough room for two backpackers. The hotel staff were amazing at dealing with an issue with some guests next door and even came and found us again the next day to explain what had happened. The gym was fine to use for us too!

The Deluxe room we were allocated was possibly the worst view you could get for the most expensive price you could pay. We were allocated a room ( 210) directly opposite the lifts and in the room out view consisted of overlooking a persons apartment and as they were having drinks on the balcony and we were maybe 2metres away from that building there was zero privacy . The curtains were very fine materiel so in order to have some distance between us and them we were forced to keep the heavy drapes closed all day and night . This made the small room very claustrophobic, the windows don’t appear to be doubled glazed so on the lower levels you can hear the bins being emptied and the general rough and tumble of the lower laneways and the residents in the adjacent building having late night drinks . When we enquired about moving rooms we were offered a room two doors down . The annoying thing was they said they were fully booked so there was no rooms on higher floors we could move too . A quick check on Wotif revealed that there were actually rooms available that you could book so there were vacancies , but l guess it was better to hold them open to get top dollar rather than to accommodate current guests who’d paid upfront 2months prior . I would have moved current guests who had a legitimate concern if it had been me making the decision as a gesture of support, but l guess they weren’t to concerned because we’d paid already but that type of contempt for guests who chose to stay in good faith wears thin . Not a pleasant stay wouldn’t recommend and will be happy for a refund !

Great place to stay for the whole family but really hard to contact them on the phone. We stayed for 5 days, no housekeeping or change of towels or linens , or even a refill of coffee and toiletries. Im not sure if you need to request for it inorder for it to be done. Apart from this it was a good stay, my whole family is comfortable.

We didn’t look to the hotel for more than just a bed for the night, so didn’t check out the other facilities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the room was set up in a modern and pleasant way. The room has most of what you need but it is very small, with very little space to even set down a suitcase. I would have preferred access to a full size ironing board rather than a desktop one.

Good place the travel is easy with sky-bus and cheep just $24 from Airport to city centre The bus is coming every five minutes I am interested at ARBS 2022 in Melbourne to visit the Air conditioning.Refrigeration Building Services Exhibition

Had seven nights in Melbourne. First three in Mercure Welcome. Not impressed. Moved to Citiclub and it’s great! Clean, much larger with a tub. Great bed and pillows. Plenty of living space and a great bathroom. Easy walk to everything and lovely staff. Best thing is hardly any visible people so easy to move around get lifts etc.
