Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa

We stayed in a sea view suite for two weeks at the beginning of last year and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The suite was amazing with stunning views of the sea - this is without doubt the nicest suite I’ve stayed in. The hotel and its facilities are also fantastic but what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single member of staff at this hotel went above and beyond during our stay and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. There are too many people to mention/thank but Vera on reception was amazing, as was Kyriaki in the bar, who always took time to entertain our young son. The food at the hotel was also great. We’re vegan and often struggle to get any kind of decent breakfast when away but the breakfast here was wonderful. As soon as I explained our diet the chef took me around the buffet to explain exactly which items of food were suitable. He also cooked us separate vegan sausages every morning. There are so many great things about this hotel, including its fabulous location – positioned with the ***** at the front and the stunning beach directly behind - but if I had to pick the best thing about this hotel it would have to be the kids’ club run by Kyriaki and Katerina who were both absolutely amazing and undoubtedly made our five year old son’s holiday. He’s not usually a fan of holiday clubs but this kids’ club was definitely the highlight of his stay. In fact, it was the reason we chose to stay at Sunrise Pearl in the first place, after I stayed on my own with my son at the neighbouring Sunrise Beach (also a fantastic hotel) the year before and was given access Sunrise Pearls’ kids’ club facilities. I was apprehensive that holidaying alone with a young child might be a bit of a challenge, but Kyriaki was wonderful and made my son feel so welcome that he couldn’t wait to return and I managed to have a break everyday which was a massive (and unexpected) help! Our stay at Sunrise Pearl was no different and we got time to relax everyday while our son enjoyed his time in kids’ club. I can’t recommend Sunrise Pearl highly enough and we can’t wait to return.

Well located hotel on the Protaras ***** with access to the beach promenade. The ability to chose sunbeds which are then yours for the duration of the stay is a great idea - saves having to get up early to reserve beds. Room was lovely and clean with a stocked mini bar on arrival and water replenished each day. Turn down service in the evenings with extra towels provided if needed. Half board dine around was excellent and for a change you can swap dinner for lunch by the pool instead. All a la carte restaurants were great with plenty of choice and good sized portions. Local bus stops are close to the hotel with buses running at all times including a direct service once a day to Nicosia. The only downside was the buffet restaurant. Breakfast was ok but the one dinner we had on our arrival was nothing special and it would be great if the dine around could be used from the day of arrival rather than the next day.

We had a great Time at the Hotel. Everything what we needed was taken care of. And especially the staff at the Restaurant waterfall was very friendly. The adult’s pool was perfect for us and quiet. Also was the sea close by. We had a standard Room with Seaview. The Room service cleans the rooms every day and was therefore clean. We also tried the massage. And it was so relaxing. We had with the Spa together a wonderful experience. Overall, we will come back as soon as we can. Greetings from Armin and Sarah

Everything was really good. The different options of eating outside of the hotel was a great idea but they did all become a bit samey. And ridiculous as it sounds the arms on the sunbeds don't recline back and become very uncomfortable. But all in all I would go back there in a heart beat. Great spec if you like swimming in the sea.

Stayed on the 6th November 24 for 1 week in a Deluxe room with sea view, Room 220, through Jet 2 on a Bed and Breakfast basis. It was the first time we have stayed at the Sunrise Pearl and it was amazing. All of the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel. The hotel and our room was kept immaculate,with little touches like free daily bottles of water and chocalates left at night. We also received a complimentary spa session. When we go back to Protaras we will definitely book the Sunrise Pearl again.
