We stayed at this hotel for two nights in late July/early August. Our base-level room was large, clean and well-appointed, which was of course good. The hotel location was convenient to get to all places where we needed to be. Wifi worked well and all interactions with staff were pleasant. We also booked a private transfer to Mexico City airport through the concierge, which went on smoothly and offered good value for money. However, the hotel had a number of stingy, cheap and hostile attitudes towards guests that really rubbed us the wrong way. For example: since we prepaid for our stay, we were not allowed to use the minibar (hotel staff even went to the room to lock it after we checked-in!). What is the connection between these things? I’ve never seen anything like that. Espresso capsules were also removed from the room after we checked in- and mind you, if they hadn’t been taken away from us, there would have been a MXN30 charge for each capsule. What a rip-off - even budget hotels have free coffee these days. And this is one of the most expensive hotels in Puebla. Adding insult to injury, nobody bothered to tell us beforehand that someone would go there to lock the minibar and remove the coffee capsules. To say we were surprised by these petty attitudes is an understatement. Breakfast was also very expensive (~USD25 per person) for what it offered. Another annoying thing: it was impossible to charge room-service and restaurant purchases to our room. We had to settle everything on the spot, which clearly shows management distrusts guests. We didn't feel welcome and won't come back.

Realice reserva con mascota, menciona comunicar con el hotel para el costo, me comuniqué mencionaron costo de 480 por estancia de mascota y llegando realizaron cobro de 350 por noche, no respetaron la información brindada por teléfono, la señorita que atendió fue nocturno el día jueves y mencionó que las políticas son diferentes en la aplicación que en el hotel y que era la única forma de que aceptaran a la mascota, en restaurante buen servicio por parte de el personal en específico del Sr Marcelino que es turno de la tarde , brindó orientación y accede te trato, lástima que las porciones son muy pequeñas para el costo, y tienen muy buen sazón , la mascota solo podía andar en cuarto y área verde siendo un hotel petfriendly no lo permitían en todas sus instalaciones, gymnasio solo cuenta con mancuernas caminadora y bicicleta estática, muy buen lugar para aloj**** pero definitivamente tiene que mejorar sus políticas , el trato de su personal de recepción y el implementar completamente petfriendly .

PPengguna TetamuStunning property and the room was probably one of the most unique and beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. We were in awe of our bathroom and level of detail in our room and throughout the property, super impressive. Our breakfast at the restaurant was just okay, the coffee was served lukewarm and the dishes we okay, not stellar especially given the price point. Staff was nice, however, my chief complaint is that they were less than flexible seemingly because we booked through Expedia. We were traveling with our two young children arriving off a red eye flight, I requested an early check and when they noticed I booked through a third party site, confirmed it twice and followed that by stating they would not be able to accommodate the request. The hotel was completely desolate, we sat in the un-airconditioned lobby for 3 hours until our tour was scheduled and literally saw two other guests the entire time. The dining room was completely empty as well so it was not a function of having a fully booked property the evening before. I guess my recommendation is to NOT book through a third party site should you have any special requests.

When I first starting staying there the food was pretty good. As time has passed, the food has degraded. On my latest trip I ordered a Caesar salad and it was literally 4 pieces of lettuce, some parmesan cheese (not fresh) and glob of dressing. We had the chicken mole which wasn't bad and then ordered a side of fries which were not even cooked. We complained and they did credit the meal but it is such a shame that a great hotel can't seem to get the food right. We have had some friends stay there and they had the same food issues. It is still a good place to stay but eat elsewhere if you can.

PPengguna TetamuI needed a hotel for a night when all my to-go places went up like crazy due to some useless concert event in Puebla so I left my 5Star place (yes I am cheap sometimes) just for this Saturday night and found this one on orbitz for like 20$. Ok, it’s situated in the beginnings of Analco ,one of Puebla’s founding neighborhoods from the 1500s but unfortunately they never cleaned it up ever after since then. The neighborhood looks worse than a Brazilian favela (yes I’ve been lots of times to Brazil) .This hotel used to be a capital o before now it’s been renovated and inside pretty much acceptable. Got an economy room (really nothing to brag about) and was happy to have avoided the 300$ room in my other hotel. Well, outside it’s an old street from the 1600s and earlier, half of the street is in ruins, not joking, looks like a war zone. Berlin looked better in 1945. There are 2 buildings standing,one is the hotel. It’s dirty and more than neglected outside, the hotel itself is like an old estancia inside with all the rooms having windows which face to the inner court. To be honest you don’t want to see the dump outside anyway. The reception guys efficient and fast, the girl very helpful, she got me a fan (yes,no air conditioning inside,no problem in October but during summer certainly an issue ) and ask for the faster wifi connection as my room (106) didn’t get the normal signal quite well. You get 2 bottles of water and some soap . As I said ,for 20$ it’s a deal, if it’s higher try another place. I would come back, but not for more than a day. The only issues was there were hardly any power outlets for anything. Glad I always bring my power multiple jack extension cord with me.Without this you’d be in trouble. The room was small ,maybe 15m2 but very clean. It was actually quiet although I read the reviews of noisy drunken guests before .So I was happy I never got those. Well, as I mentioned acceptable for the price I paid. Enjoy Puebla.

PPengguna TetamuCada hotel y habitaciones tiene sus conceptos, aunque puede ser agradable, a mi no me gusto tener el lavamanos fuera del baño, ya que se encontraba junto a la puerta de acceso al cuarto, el balo es pequeño y en la reservación mencionaba cama queen y tuve matrimonial.
Se filtran mucho los ruidos del exterior, mi habitación era planta baja y todo lo que sucedía en recepción se escuchaba

The hotel boasts several elegant and ample lounges on different floors where the guest can sit with his companions for a chat, do some reading, catch up to his diary, or just idle away in quiet and immaculate surroundings. There are a number of lifts servicing the hotel's five storeys, if one does not wish to unwind the winding staircases. Room-door and room-lighting are operated by means of a card-key, and the sober en-suite rooms come complete with a coffee-making machine, telephone for FREE calls, wi-fi, bottled water, coffee & sugar, bathroom amenity kit, all courtesy of the house. You will find Mr Paul at the reception desk, and Mr Eduardo, extremely pleasant, polite and accommodating gentlemen. You will not even have to take your luggage upstairs! Ask for a room overlooking the mighty Mt Popocatepetl, the city's smoking active volcano! Un magnifico lugar, y mas aun para aquellos viajeros que deseen estar a un paso de la terminal de autobuses, ... y a dos pasos de un mercado con la mas deliciosa cocina Mexicana! Este gran hotel cuenta con multiples salones en varios pisos, comodos, elegantes, espaciosos e inmaculadamente limpios, donde el huesped puede sent**** a leer en paz, charlar con amigos, escribir su diario de viaje, o simplemente relaj****. Tambien hay varios ascensores para ascender y descender los cinco pisos. Tanto la puerta de la habitacion como sus luces son accionados por tarjeta (en vez de llaves), y las sobrias habitaciones incluyen cafetero, telefono (las llamadas son gratuitas), agua embotellada, wi-fi, una bandejita de amenidades para el bano, cafe, azucar, todo cortesia de la casa. Varias habitaciones tienen vista directa sobre el humeante volcan Popocatepetl, icono de la ciudad! Paul, encargado de la recepcion, y Eduardo, ambos de disposicion muy gentil y profesional, hacen de la estadia una muy grata experiencia.

PPengguna TetamuEl hotel está cerca de una parada del metrobus así que se puede llegar muy fácil, a sus alrededores tiene locales donde pueden comprar comida. Cerca del centro. El personal que atiende es muy amable, pedí información acerca del transporte público y me orientaron muy amablemente. La habitación que me dieron (105) tiene una cama matrimonial, puede ser para una o dos personas, te proporcionan dos toallas, shampoo, jabón, la tele es con canales locales. Solo tiene un par de detalles: la habitación tiene un olor raro, no es desagradable pero yo creo que con un aromatizante se puede solucionar, las toallas son un poco duras, tarda en salir el agua caliente en la regadera, el hotel está cerca de una calle principal y hay momentos donde se escucha mucho ruido, creo que una cortina en la puerta puede ayudar a que no entre tanta luz. Si buscas algo barato, limpio, que te sirva para dormir y asearte, está bien.
