We stayed here for a night and it was really good, the inside and outside looks amazing and the rooms are really nice, the beds are really comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The manager is friendly and we had a great experience at breakfast too.

Positives: •Rooms are clean and a decent size for what we needed. Come with a bath and shower, mini fridge and a safe which you have to pay for. •Pool wasn’t too busy. •Location was good. Shop opposite road, shops down towards the beach, nice restaurants around. •Staff on reception, maids and entertainment were very kind and helpful. Negatives: •Food was the same everyday. It was nice for the first 4 days but the last 3 days they seemed to run out of everything and most the food was all the same. •The location was very hilly so keep that in mind. And it’s often overcast most of the day so if you are just coming for the sun go to the south of the island. •Whilst we stayed there was 150 students staying here. We were told they would be no bother and would have seperate meal times but we saw no proof of this as no matter what time we went to eat they were around. They caused a lot of noise at the pool and their teachers had no control over them. •The drink options are a bit poor as a lot of the alcohol isn’t included in your all inclusive band. Excursions: •Whilst we stayed we went to Loro Parque which was only a small train journey away which is included in the ticket price of €48 ish or you can get a twin ticket with Siam park for €75 ish. On arrival seemed very busy but once in the park you couldn’t tell. Make sure you get to the shows 30 mins before as they do fill up quick. •Siam park gets busy quick and is over an hour away on the bus! The transfer price was €24 each. If you want a fast travel pass buy it before you go or get there atleast 30 mins before opening as they go really quick. •We also did a Gran Canaria experience which was €120 it was very good but a lot of the day is spent travelling.

We went with Easyjet that describes the hotel as relaxing and nestled in gardens but our room like most was on noisy main road. To change to a quieter room costs £££££. Also the balcony door did not lock and fridge leaked. Food terrible including unsafe blood raw turkey and badly named food so if vegi careful because the margarita pizza has meat. Most food inedible and cold. Hotel bus service from hill top where hotel is located is irregular and impractical times. Often we waited for bus that does not run, so told receptionist that just shrugs.Don't expect much from the hotel evening entertainment. One night was karaoke only, the next just football on the TV and on another night 1 game of bingo and nothing else (and do not expect English TV channels in room as advertised as these do not work). Overall the hotel is tired and needs redecorating (please see pictures). Also our balcony rail shook forward and backwards. Unhelpful staff that say there is no one to deal with complaints. They say the manager may or may not be about at some time. Spoke to some Jet 2 customers who advised they were moving families out of the hotel to other hotels., Expect annoying rowdy and randy large teenage school groups (150+) , also running up and down corridors at all hours. Makes it feel like a youth hostel. This also leaves no sunbeds around pool with towels on floor used by the students. Holiday is not relaxing. Good sunbeds in hotel photos the hotel charges extra for. Playground for children as advertised is currently closed.

Just had a week at this hotel. Hotel was very clean and staff seemed lovely too. The reception had a funky smell most evenings, like a sewage odour. Lifts only had 2 working out of 3 and they took forever to come. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the food…..the food was awful, always cold and food mushy and overcooked. The food options were disappointing, I dreaded going for my evening meal, so ate out a bit. Location was good if your up for walking, very steep roads and loads of steps. Also 1 day of sun in the whole week 😩

Our 4-night stay on a half-board basis at Hotel Fergus offered a mixed experience with both positives and drawbacks. Let me explain: Rooms Upon arrival, the room was very clean, bright and pleasant. However, for a hotel in this price range, the room felt slightly smaller than expected. While not cramped, it was below average in size. The balcony, though providing a lovely view of the sea and city, was also smaller than similar hotels I've stayed in It was certainly wide enough but not as "deep" as I'd like. Minor wear and tear around the room, such as chipped paint on the walls and damage to the skirting boards was visible, but not overly bothersome unless closely inspected. The hotel keycards are also a bit finicky. Best advice is to remember to remove it slowly from the slot, otherwise its not going to recognize it. The beds were reasonably comfortable, with thin sheets for the heat as standard, and a spare, thicker duvet provided. However, the two single beds pushed together to mimic a double bed were inconvenient for couples, as there was nothing to hold the beds together, leading to an uncomfortable gap in the middle. A small frustration was a hanging light positioned awkwardly above the bedside table, causing me to bump my head multiple times. Not painfully, as the lampshade wasn't hard or sharp, but it was just an annoyance. The bathroom was functional and bright, albeit with a strange layout and a slightly cramped feel. For example, the toilet was nearly completely inaccessible unless you closed the bathroom door behind you first. The shower itself was comfortable and worked well. One consideration for the taller guest is that the towel rack is located inside the shower close to the roof, so you may wish to duck. There was also no type of extractor inside the bathroom so unless you want a foggy mirror, I'd suggest leaving the door ajar for some kind of ventilation. Room Amenities: The room included a fridge, which is fairly standard, however I was glad to see that the shelves in this fridge included circular cutouts, providing space to store a wine bottle upright. The room also includes a safe, however the code for it is not included. The Fergus will charge you €2.50 per night for the code and use of the safe, which felt excessive; in other hotels at a similar price point that I've stayed at, the safe is usually fully included in the price of the room, and this really feels like putting the security of guests' valuables second to extra revenue. There was ample shelving and a fair number of hangers with a rail for hanging coats, jackets, dresses etc. Towels also included for the shower. A glaring omission from the room was the absence of tea and coffee-making facilities—not even a kettle in the room, which is typically standard in other hotels I've stayed at. The TV was a decent size, with a few English-speaking channels. However, it was not a Smart TV, so streaming services like Netflix were unavailable. Location The hotel’s lo
