We booked this based on the photos and that it was a bit out of town with a gorgeous outlook. After three flights we arrived early afternoon. Unfortunately there was no kitchen until dinner at 7pm and the young man in reception was incredibly kind and took one of us in his motorbike to buy lunch which was quite a drive away. The good things are that the rooms are large, the outlook is beautiful and the young reception staff incredibly helpful and kind. Why I wouldn’t book this. The infinity pool is not like the pictures. The water level was really low and it was dirty when we arrived. Over the next three days it was cleaned and the level raised but still not as the pictures. The room was dirty with hair in the shower. Lots of fixtures broken. The linen is old and tired, towels stained. No kitchen between breakfast and dinner. It is remote and taxis are really difficult and most only take cash. Cash is really hard to get hold of in Argentina. Having said that, the falls are amazing, so just book somewhere else.

We were really excited to stay in this unique hotel, overlooking the river. We stayed for a few days while we explored Iguazu Falls. Unfortunately the experience was not pleasant and there are several things to be aware of before booking. First, the pictures online do not reflect the current condition of the hotel and the rooms. It was very run down, the sheets and pillows were dirty. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom, which may have come from the river or the water/plumbing. The breakfast food was very average. The staff did not speak English, even though the site claims that English is spoken (we basic Spanish skills so we figured it out). Most importantly, the hotel is far out of the town, and you can only get there by un-paved, very uneven and sometimes scary dirt roads. Would not recommend.

We can only recommend this lodge. Great view on the iconic Parana, very nice swimming pools with view and terrace, large and comfy cabins, also with view. What a pleasure waking up with that light and powerful river! It is "far" (15 mins taxi, 3000 pesos in august 2023)from the city center, but that is what we liked. It is lodged in a genuine neighbourhood, so we liked wondering around and speaking to locals. If you loke something out of the box, it is what you want.

Wonderful location and great view. Miguel and Tania were excellent. The approach to the hotel is off the beaten track through some unkempt streets, however when through the gates we were welcomed with a superb view across the river to Paraguay. Hotel is about 1/2 hour to town of Iguazu but taxis were easy to get. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, tastefully decorated using local wood and fabrics. Had a huge window giving panoramic view. Very quiet with no immediate neighbours. Small but nice swimming pool overlooking the river and Paraguay.

The location was perfect. It's a little secluded which is what we wanted and the views are stunning. We spent a lot of time on our balcony just taking in the scenery. Our room was fantastic as well and the staff were very helpful getting us taxis to go to Iguazu Waterfalls. We also ordered food at the restaurant one of the evenings and it was delicious! There could have been a little bit more of a selection for breakfast, it was quite small and they didn't have any non lactose or non dairy milk options so if you are vegan or lactose intolerant you might want to get your own. However, we were there in low season so maybe they have more things when they are fully booked :)

Lugar muy comodo, limpio y buen desayuno. La atencion es muy cordial y amable. Solo un caso particular requiere que capaciten mas especialmente al momento en la atencion para la cena. No tienen una cartilla muy amplia pero la comida del restaurant es muy rica y los precios razonables. El acceso al hotel es el unico punto negativo.

Il Tupa Lodge è situato alla fine di una stradina sterrata e apre il suo prato sul fiume Paranà . È costituito da una casa principale dove c'è il tavolo della reception ed il resto della sala è adibito alla sala colazioni e cena. Poi c'è la piscina con sdraio e questo è tutto. Le camere sono molto molto spaziose, un letto matrimoniale king size e due letti francesi stanno veramente comodi. Le camere sono all'interno di una sorta di bungalow che ne tiene due. tutte guardano il fiume con un iper finestrone che da sulla terrazzina privata attrezzata con un tavolino e due sedie per attendere in pace il tramonto. Servizi alberghieri e personale sono disponibili. Wifi funziona bene nelle zone centrali. Nelle camere più esterne come la nostra, la 10, un pò meno ma cmq funziona. Alzarsi al mattino con il cinguettio di una miriade di uccelli, questo è quello che dovete aspettarvi. Tranquillità, relax. Le camere sono 10 quindi al massimo avrete a che fare con 40 persone.......Per andare in centro ncessitate del taxi, 8.000 pesos a tratta. Il nuovo direttore da Febbraio , Miguel, sembra scafato ed in grado di gestire le criticità che possono accadere con professionalità. L'entrata alle cascate argentine dista mezz'ora di macchina. A quelle brasiliane, un'ora a seconda del tempo in frontiera. La frontiera dista 15 mins in macchina. Se cercate relax, comodità di spazi, servizi comunque da 3 stelle superiore, Andateci, non ve ne pentirete!

el lugar es la mejor elección para quienes eligen descansar. las camas inmensas, y comodas, las almohadas, las sabanas algodon 100%, unas vistas soñadas con el rio y la selva desde todas las habitaciones. Pasar un dia de compras o de excursion y llegar a este lugar es magia. La cocina variada y no dan ganas de salir a comer a otro lugar. Precios accesibles y la ATENCION DE TODOS los chicos un lujo. GRACIAS!!!!

No lo recomiendo, el precio está sobrevalorado. A favor: el paisaje. En contra: 1) La TV no funcionaba por lo cual nos cambiaron de habitación. 2) Cuando entramos nos mandaron por wsp un listado de servicios que luego descubrimos el hotel no tenía. 3) Las fotos son engañosas. Parece algo que luego no es. 4) El servicio de desayuno muy precario. 5) En la habitación había solo dos puntos de luz que funcionaban. El resto tenía los focos quemados, incluido el balcón. 6) Tanto en el baño como en el exterior, el olor a cloaca es horrible. 7) El área de piscina deplorable. Las bombas no funcionaban por lo que estaba llena hasta la mitad y sumamente sucia (hojas, tierra y moho). Los vidrios de protección estaban tan opacos que no traslucian y no se podía ver el rio. Mesas y sombrillas de propaganda de alguna cerveza o vino. No acercan toallas (hay que ir hasta la recepción a pedirlas) y el servicio de pool party es inexistente. 8) La habitación no tiene placard, sólo unos estantes rústicos y un barral de tronco de árbol por lo que decidimos dejar la maleta sin deshacer. En fin, no volvería ni lo recomiendo. Regalado es caro. El personal amable pero no parece tener prepacion para gestionar el hotel. Un punto a favor: el perrito blanco que nos acompaño en la estadía.
