Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort

Good property overall for the price. However food left much to be desired. Door of our bathroom wouldn't close all the way and they came to "fix it" and basically lwft it the same. Also most of the staff spoke close to no English making it very difficult to communicate and ask for any kind of information.

Extremely friendly attentive staff. To say this place is immaculately clean, really is not enough. Spotless and beautiful. I was not impressed by the fact that there are no bathrooms in the restaurants, they were quite a distance away. Also, that the transfers were not included. Overall a fabulous property and I will come back for 2 weeks next year.

I highly recommend the adult side if you are traveling as a couple or with other adults. The vibe is much more chill and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed our week away. I would be very tempted to go back and I’m not one for repeat travel experiences. The resort was clean, great food, great drinks, nice selection of restaurants and the coffee bar was icing on the cake!

So I am not quite sure what happened from now to when I read the reviews regarding this resort but I will never be returning. The property, pools, beach and room were excellent, but the food was absolutely terrible. Following check in they immediately have you make reservations for the restaurants on location and after we visited the sushi restaurant and the steak place I highly recommend you eat elsewhere. By night two I was up all night with terrible food poisoning after visiting the steakhouse. When we thought we would get a break by ordering room service by the time the food actually arrived it was no where near hot. Very disappointed because I was actually very excited to go to Punta Cana, but after their experience I will be going to another destination in the future.

Everything was broken from door, shower and , air conditioner. Only reason you would stay here is for the location.

I cannot recommend Serenade highly enough! The entire resort was immaculately clean, all the staff were lovely, and the facilities and amenities were beautiful. We loved that it was quiet - so if you're looking for wild nightlife, this might not be the spot for you. It did sound a bit louder on the family side, but the noise never went late, and the doors to the rooms completely block out the noise. There are three pools: one with a pool bar and loud music, one a bit further away where you can still hear the music, and one on the far end that was nice and quiet, which is where we sat. There is poolside service, so you don't have to walk all the way to the far pool for a drink. The food was delicious and the dining areas were super clean. If you're thinking about booking here, definitely do it! We can't wait to come back!

All the staff at the resort speak very poor English and it was extremely hard to communicate with them! In restaurants and many bars that require reservations, they give priority to Spanish-speaking customers and ignore those of us who speak English. I felt a lot of discrimination there. Next to the resort is a dolphin park, you can always hear the sounds of animals in that park and their horns during the day. The buffet at the resort is ok, but the food at all their reservation-required restaurants is terrible and takes a long, long time for food to be served. We waited for an hour and a half before we got our main meal at Steak House, one of the restaurants we reserved. I strongly do not recommend everyone to come to this resort, their management is in a mess.

I first want to say that I am certainly not jet-setting monthly and I am middle class, so this trip was a special occasion for our honeymoon/birthdays. So I did a lot of research beforehand. I am so pleased with my decision to Book Serenade!! I truly cannot say enough about this property. We stayed on the adult side and it was so peaceful. The front desk staff upgraded us to a beach view suite as a honeymoon surprise. This place was immaculate as far as cleanliness and the staff was constantly keeping the grounds pristine. I admittedly had low expectations of the food, given past experiences with all-inclusives. I was so pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality and selection of food options. The coffee was amazing and I miss it daily! We LOVED the swim up bar staff - shout out to Omar! We truly had such an amazing time and highly recommend this place! A couple of recommendations: 1) You don't HAVE to do the presentation to invest in the program they offer (similar to a time share,) however we went to it and would have joined if it were in our budget. 2) Grab a towel early in the morning and reserve a pool spot, they go quickly - especially the "fun" pool. But USE the spot. 3) Make your dinner reservations in advance!! (And be kind enough to cancel if you change your plans.) Make sure to book Gourmet once! 4) TIP!! Seriously. Yes, it's an all-inclusive but you will enjoy your trip more by showing some generosity to the staff. They work so hard and are so kind.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenade Adults Only. The property is beautiful and we felt welcome & safe. The sunset on the beach is breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again! Our room was spacious & comfortable. It did not have an actual bathroom. The toilet had its own room, but the shower & tub were part of the hotel room design, which could be awkward depending on who you were with. The bed was very comfortable - wish I could say the same for the pillows. There is plenty of built-ins for clothes and a safe to secure valuables. There is no deadbolt on the door, so housekeeping could potentially enter while you are sleeping or showering if you don't hear them knock. The lounge chairs at the pool/beach were some of the most comfortable I've ever sat on! It took us a few days to learn the secret about getting chairs- keep your towels from the day before and go down around 7 to get your spot. Put your towels or some other item on your chairs. Everyone is very respectful & nobody messed with others things. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. The buffets & Italian restaurant do not require reservations. If you make a reservation for the Steakhouse or Asian, make sure you know which dining menu type they give you. We were given the Brazilian option at the steakhouse and the menu was awful. Service and communication were also poor. Not all of the employees speak English well and communication can be a little difficult. Overall, great week!
