I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel again. I stayed here for the first time a year ago in June for Dragon Boat Festival and it was fantastic. So I decided to stay here for May 1st holidays. Unfortunately that turned out to be a huge mistake. During the day in Qingdao during this time the weather is good between 22-25 degrees Celsius but still cold at night between 13-15 degrees. For me the heat needs to be on but to my horror there was no heat, only cold air. So I ended up getting sick. On top of that it didn't matter if it was breakfast or dinner, the buffet food was cold. The only hot food was something made in front of you like an omlet. Even before I found out all this, when I got to my room it wasn't what I paid for. I paid for the multi-level suite. I still had a suite but I have no idea if the cost was at least the same and I didn't care for it. The bed was great though but even with another blanket on top didn't keep me warm enough with no heat at night. 😓

우선 저는 한국인입니다. 한국인들의 리뷰가 많이 없는 호텔임에도 칭다오맥주 컨셉이라는 것만으로 제 맘에 쏙 들었습니다. 자정이 가까운 밤 늦은 시간에 체크인 했는데도 무리 없었습니다. 저와 제 일행이 중국어를 못해서 영어 또는 번역기로 소통을 했는데요. 5성급임에도 영어소통이 어려운 점은 아쉬웠지만 직접 번역기로 또는 바디랭귀지로 소통을 하려는 모습이 고마웠어요. 제 여권에 트러블이 있는지 체크인 하고도 이슈가 있었는데도 친절히 설명해주셨어요. (그런데 아침에 계신 직원분은 오로지 중국어로 말만 하셔서 모든 직원분들이 같은 태도를 가지신 건 아니더라구요) 또 숙소에 있는 어메니티 말고도 체크인 때 추가로 주신 어메니티와 숙면에 도움을 받을 수 있는 키트도 주시는데 선물 받는 느낌이라 좋았습니다. 1층에 씨뷰룸에 묵었는데 사실 풍경은 볼 게 없어요.. 그러나 창가쪽 욕조와 배쓰밤, 트롤리 등 잘 갖춰져 있고 옷걸이와 수건도 넉넉하고 헤어드라이기가 세서 참 편했어요. 전반적인 정리정돈 및 청결도 훌륭합니다. 커튼도 버튼으로 여닫기가 가능해서 신기했어요 또 섬세함이 느껴졌던 건 객실 슬리퍼 2개의 색이 달라 각각 구분이 편했습니다, 그러나 칫솔은 a키트와 b키트의 색이 같아서 실수가 있었나 의아했어요 조식도 맛있고, 조식 제공해주시는 분들도 모두 웃고 계셔서 아침부터 미소가 지어지더라구요. 식사 중 도움요청에도 빨리 해결해주시려는 모습도 감사했습니다. 체크아웃 할 때도 마스크와 땅콩을 선물로 주셔서 좋았습니다 다만, 방문 전 궁금사항이 있음에도 현지 연락처가 없어 소통이 힘들었고 국제전화까지 했으나 궁금증을 해결하지 못했던 건 아쉬웠습니다. 호텔연락처 말고도 현지연락처가 없거나 중국어로 소통이 어려운 외국인을 위해 공식메일을 하나 만들어 사용해주시길 부탁드립니다. 운이 좋게도 저는 우연히 트립닷컴 고객센터에서 다른 예약건으로 확인차 연락을 주셔서 위 부분의 궁금증을 묻고 해결할 수 있었습니다. 또한 예약시 추가로 제공되는 서비스에 대해 부가설명이 더 있으면 좋을 거 같습니다. 미니바에 감자칩이나 쿠키류는 없어 아쉬웠으나 웰컴과일이 있어 괜찮았습니다. 또 맥주 제공에 대해서도 무제한으로 알고 있었으나 1인당 1잔만 먹을 수 있어 이 부분은 너무 실망스러웠습니다. 시간도 아침9시부터 가능하다고 하나 실제로는 그렇지 않고 10시가 넘어 시음이 가능했습니다. 그리고 ***스 나이트 서비스에 대해 전혀 내용 설명이 없어서 답답했습니다. 그리고 비어스파에 대해서도 사전에 자세히 알았으면 관광일정을 조율했을텐데, 시간이 없어 이용하지 못했네요 그럼에도 호텔 뒷 문으로 나가면 아이들을 위한 간이 놀이터가 있고 조금 더 걸으면 해변, 호텔 빵집과 기념품 샵등이 있어 즐길게 많아서 숙소 주변이 관광지가 있는 시내가 아님에도 충분히 올만한 프로그램과 주변환경이 조성되어 있다고 생각되어 저는 칭다오에 또 오게 된다면 한 번 더 묵을 의향이 있습니다.

Great! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was really big and clean. The bathroom is huge and has a beautiful mosaic on the wall. There’s a big bathtub where you can relax and watch movies at the same time. The bed is big and comfortable. Theres a TV in the bedroom, in the sitting room and in the bathroom. The suite has TWO balconies with a sea view. There’s even a Bluetooth speaker that can be connected to your phone. All the necessary toiletries were provided. The hotel staff would bring us fresh fruit to the room every evening. The breakfast and dinner were good too, better than we expected based on the reviews. Many options to choose from, including salmon sashimi. We compared the food options in the nearby hotels and this one seemed to be the best. There was even a chocolate fountain :) Nice gym, but the pool was closed due to Covid. Very good experience overall and would definitely recommend the hotel!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Some of the hotel staff speak English and one person very kindly stayed behind after his shift ended to help translate for us. We were upgraded to a better room on a higher floor with an amazing view. The room was clean and spacious and the bathtub was great. There are plenty of shops and restaurants closeby and Tangdao bay is a short walk away.

First time here, very pleased with the service and room. The room here is very big and spacious which makes the stay delightful. I'm genuinely surprised with the genial greetings from all the staff here, especially those at the tea lounge. Besides service, the breakfast was also very delicious and had many options to choose from. Overall, 5 stars, would definitely recommend friends and relatives to stay here for their holidays.

The location is great and is convenient to lots of restaurants and the downtown of Qingdao. The front desk and the lobby service are great. They are very helpful and provided great services. This hotel was the 1st 5 star hotel in the Shandong province and had lots of famous guests. However, the facility itself needs to updated. The carpets are old. Some guests may not comply with the rule of no smoking. You can smell the smoking from the common area and the room. Great location, good service but out dated facility.

The hotel is very similar to those around it. The one special thing about this one is that we could sit outside for our meals and enjoy the outside vibe. Sunday night has a live band session which amazing. The outside play ground also catered well for our kids.

I visited Qingdao for my wife birthday trip and stayed at the hotel in St. Regis Qingdao for one night. I felt very good with the kind hospitality of the staff from the moment I arrived at the hotel. When I arrived at the lobby, I was informed of the room by the staff Ms. Eva. She was very kind and the service was very good. She prepared tea and cake for my wife for her birthday and informed me of the information needed to use the hotel. We were very surprised and touched by her service. I would like to thank the hotel staff Ms. Eva, for her help in the condition of the room and the birthday event. I look forward to seeing you again next time! Thank you very much. Ms. Eva :)
