The hotel is very close to Queenstown city center, and it's only a few hundred meters walk to Skyline. The view from the hotel balcony is absolutely stunning, and the staff are very enthusiastic and helpful. Highly recommend!

It was my second time staying at this hotel. I love the view facing the lake. The room itself is clean and the location is walkable to the city.

The facilities are a bit old. The location is a few minutes from the city center, but it's quite tiring walking up the slopes. The room is spacious enough, and the service is good.

It's a two-story cabin, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. I even made a delicious Chaoshan beef hotpot there – you know how impressive that is! It comes with free parking, and the location is super close to the attractions. I'll definitely come back next time.

Heartland has the ideal location - just a short walk from the heart of the city, yes the views from the King Chalet room was breathtaking. Thankful to be assigned a very nice corner room for my week’s stay. Interior of the room is kept simple yet comfortable. I had a most unforgettable stay!

No air conditioning! I've been in New Zealand for over 10 days and this is the first hotel I've encountered without AC, and it's summer! There was hair on the pillow, the bathroom was quite old, and there wasn't enough hot water with very low water pressure. Parking is first-come, first-served. It was impossible to sleep at night without air conditioning. If you open the window, it faces the road and is extremely noisy with police cars and other vehicles constantly passing by; there's absolutely no soundproofing.

The hotel's location is fantastic, and it even has its own free parking. The room was clean and tidy, and the lake view from inside was absolutely beautiful.

The chalet was absolutely stunning, it had gorgeous views. The staff were all fantastic, welcoming and friendly. I cannot fault a thing. My recent visit was a trip to remember! I will certainly come back to this hotel when I visit Queenstown again. Thank you.

This was by far the worst hotel I encountered during my month-long trip in New Zealand. I'm not sure if the front desk did it intentionally, but they gave us a ground-floor room that felt like walking into a basement. The balcony was completely enclosed by dense greenery, so there was no sunlight even during the day. The room constantly smelled musty and was incredibly damp. After three days, all the clothes in our luggage reeked of dampness, and we could still smell it when we opened our suitcases after checking into a new hotel on the second day. The bed was extremely soft; you just sank right into it. My travel companion joked that it felt like lying in a bathtub. The hotel felt very old, and this room, perhaps due to the lack of light, seemed even more dated. The bathroom even had an 80s-style shower curtain, and you had to stand in the tub to shower. It was utterly speechless. Rooms upstairs seemed to get plenty of sunshine, yet they gave us a corner room, and we had a child with us? A truly, truly terrible experience!

Decent sized room with beautiful view of the mountains. Location is excellent as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

It was ok. Quite old and outdated, could feel the springs in the bed when laying down though. Bathroom was very old and door wouldn't close properly due to the moisture build up and swelling of the door. Hallways had a damp smell to them and holes in the ceilings, only good thing about the room was the shower pressure was amazing.
