Ulasan Copthorne Hotel & Apartments Queenstown Lakeview

I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip and was looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. It met my basic expectations. Pros: - Clean and well-maintained room. - Room size is comfortable for two adults. - 24-hour reception is very convenient. - Bus stops (Bus 1) are right in front of the hotel. - The balcony with chairs and a table offers a serene view of the river. - Buffet breakfast starts early at 6:30 AM, which is great for me as my coach to Lake Tekapo was at 8am. - Room comes with all necessities, plus a microwave, which was a huge bonus for me. Cons: - Booked a lake-view room, but the view was partially blocked by bushes/trees as the room was on Level 2. Located next to a busy main road, and passerby visibility made it feel less private. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to family and friends for its convenience and comfort.

There is free basement carpark at the hotel. Hotel location on a busy street. Room big and clean with mountain view, gotten a wheelchair friendly room.

We booked a room with two single beds and yet they provided us with a King size bed upon arrival. We expressed our concern to the reception and they said there is no guarantee for the room type booked especially during peak season, and they even said it is a common situation in New Zealand, which I personally haven’t encountered in other 4 hotels during my stay. I ended up paying extra for an extra bed so that my frd and I can sleep separately. The customer service from trip.com provided assistance instantly when we expressed our concern to them and they agreed to compensate the extra that I paid. Apart from that, the hotel is clearly understaffed as there were times that there is no one at the reception and I didn’t think the staff were very attentive and helpful either. Also, there were not enough parking space in there car park so we were forced to park outside the hotel as directed by the staff but then the staff called our room at 6:30 the next morning telling us to park our car back into the garage as people started leaving. All things aside, the location of the hotel is great as it is beside the lake and is close to the city centre. To conclude, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others.

Nice lake view and comfortable bed

Quite close to the town centre, within walking distance with free parking. Back in dec 23 there was a lot of road construction so the experience could be better. But the hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable and had a balcony (ground level) to dine out with beautiful skyline.

The hotel was a little bit old and remote with the town center. We did not find the TV remote control at the arrival day and finally found the same under a bed. One rubbish bin was disappeared after the room service and my USB cable got stuck by the wheel under the bed.

Very convenient site and with nice decoration inside the house. Good stay!

Nice hotel and good location

Would give this hotel no stars if possible. The hotel is old, and filthy. The pillow covers are stained. There is no AC in the room, only have balcony window and door for ventilation. House keeping did not do a proper job. The team kept the balcony window door wide open after making the room. The hotel is facing the Main Street, anyone could’ve jumped over the half wall to get in. The House Keeping team also tied up the trash in the room and place it behind the TV. A side note, there are not enough parking spaces for the hotel customers. Overall, I would not return myself or recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

everything is ok, spent a nice night there. Near the center ,very convenient.
