We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Novotel (room only, no breakfast). Service was excellent (they provided a cake for us to celebrate our anniversary, and we asked for late check out which they kindly accepted), The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi connection if you need to work. The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The gym is open 24/7 (attended 6am-11pm) and there is a steam room but we didn’t use it. The gelato on 1F was pretty good! Couple of areas for improvement: - the walls were thin so we could hear people next door talking, or the shower adjacent to ours - our rainfall shower did not work and there is no shower door so the floor got a bit wet - there are not many amenities available - only body wash, shampoo, hand wash, body lotion, toothbrushes

My family’s stay at Seda Hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the incredible hospitality and excellent service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, the employees went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their consistent efforts in keeping my room tidy and spotless throughout my stay. Returning to a fresh and well-maintained room every day was a pleasure, and it added to the overall comfort of the experience. The hotel’s location is another standout feature. Being so close to all the major malls made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. I appreciated the easy access to everything I needed, which saved me a lot of time and effort.

Staff went beyond their way in providing us a quality service and great experience at the hotel. Thank you! Appreciate all your help! From breakfast buffet at CASA where we were being accomodated very closely by the staff and checking in on our baby from time to time to make sure he is enjoying his food to the front desk staff who did their best to provide us all our needs during our stay (especially the baby bath tub!). Thanks so much! We'll surely come back!

Shower heater doesn’t heat enough though pwede na siya. Hotel doesn’t replace towels kpag 1 day stay ka lang khit super basa na yung towel and as of the day na nag check-in ako, there was no internet connection however may phone signal naman.

The front desk staff who checked us in, Queenie, was super friendly, warm, and efficient. Everyone actually was very hospitable. We love staying here not only because of its prime location and amenities, but also because of the impeccable hospitality. We usually don’t encounter any issue, but during this stay, we were surprised by a cockroach in our room! It surely didn’t dampen our stay since we were checking out when we saw this, but hopefully we don’t see anything like this in the future.

One of the best hotels in Quezon City. If you are looking for a quality yet affordable hotels in the metro, gohotels is highly recommended. Friendly staff and the rooms are clean. I have tried this hotel several time already and definitely will come back again.

Sequoia Hotel Upon checking in, I was asked how many will be staying in the room and I said 3. The receptionist pointed out that breakfast is just for 2 of which, I didn’t have a problem with. He asked for payment for 2 nights which I paid using my card and asked for Php 2000 cash deposit which I said I’s rather be put on hold from my card. Oddly enough, we were only given 1 key. I thought maybe there was already a card placed in the card switch socket in the room but when we got there, there was none. So, was the assumption is that we each one of us open the door every time someone goes out and comes back? I requested for an extra key which took time so I made another follow up. After a couple of mins wait, someone knocked and I don’t know if they were trying to be funny but 2 staff were holding out 2 keycards when I opened the door. Seriously? Room was small but nice. There was an electric kettle and cups, the usual hotel set up but they didn’t have complimentary coffee and tea set up. A small thing for Php 4200 per night rate. On our second night, when we came back from a wedding, it was so upsetting to discover that our keys didn’t work when we came back to our room. I asked reception why and she said the key expired. Again - seriously? You get 2 nights room payment but cut the key for 1 night??? The lady didn’t even apologize but rather, said she will check on the person on duty when I checked in. Then - no updates already. After the key incident, imagine finally being able to access our room and discovering that it wasn’t cleaned. I called reception, spoke to a guy and again, I was told that “he will check on Housekeeping”. When asked if my assumption is correct that all our rooms remain uncleaned, he said “most probably, yes.” WHAAAAAAT? Waited and waited to nothing so I called again and a lady answered. She told me yes that they are already checking on what happened………….. so I asked her what I should do - am i waiting for someone to clean? Am i waiting for their feedback on what happened? Ang labo. Also reported na din our AC that doesn’t cool and is noisy. In fairness, Maintenance people went up right away. But they just told us that “every so often, when the AC / room reaches it’s max temp, the AC goes to eco mode”. What are they talking about? The AC never reached a cool mode since we checked in 24 hours ago. Room attendant finally arrived and cleaned our rooms one by one. Of course, we have to do room hopping while cleaning was on going. Convenient right? Not. Cleaning was so-so - used cups were not replaced. You’d still see a paper on the floor. Bathroom sink wasn’t wiped. But then, at least the room was “refreshed” for the night. Too many on duty on a Saturday at the front desk - apart from the 2 ladies (there was a 3rd too) at the desk. There were 2 gentlemen walking around the lobby, doing nothing. I’ve been in this hotel before a few times several years back and I believe it was one of the decent ones until today. Here are my thoughts: 1. Reception Area - When we entered the hotel, we were welcomed with an awful smell. It was like a wet carpet that didn’t dry. 2. Everything was really old and unkempt from the lobby, elevator, hallway and the room. 3. Carpet in the hallway was dirty, lots of stains. 4. We had a room key…literally. And we had to surrender it to the receptionist when we go out of the hotel. I mean what if our stuff gone missing? Will they be reliable for it? Locks were flimsy. It didn’t feel safe at all. 5. Room - We paid 3k ++ and was really disappointed when we opened the door. Everything is dirty. All the furniture have chipped paints. Carpet looked dirty. Bedsheet looked unwashed. The window was dusty that you couldn’t see a thing. Anything that has steel has rust all over. I think the good thing about the room are the aircon and bed. Overall, this is something I would never pay for 3,000php. 6. Food - Going back to the price, we expected to have at least a buffet breakfast but instead, we had a set breakfast. Although, they gave us an option to upgrade our breakfast to buffet by adding 250php and so I availed it. To be fair with, their food was good. Though it had minimal choices but it was pretty decent. 7. Staff - They were actually nice and friendly but they are quite loud. At the dining area, they kept talking in loud voices. During our check-out, staff continued chatting loudly. Overall, I’m not going to recommend this hotel because it’s pricey (not worth your money), dirty, and it smells.

We stayed for a week in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating, the food was very tasty and our rooms were very clean. We had stayed in one of the penthouse rooms and found it very spacious for two people. The views from the rooftop terrace and restaurant were lovely and had a nice ambience. Half way through our stay, Typhoon Carina had hit Manila but we felt very safe as the hotel is on higher ground. Highly recommend this hotel! We would definitely stay here again when in the area!
