Celestial Lindos Suites

We booked in September 2023 to stay here in September 2024 after having stayed here twice before. Early this year we were informed by Tui that our booking had been cancelled as the hotel could no longer honour our board basis (self catering). Turns out that the rooms had been renovated and when we looked at rebooking the whole holiday, it was going to cost us £400 each more for the week for bed and breakfast. Basically, the holiday we had booked initially had been cancelled so that more money could be made rather than honouring our booking. So very disappointed having stayed previously. We ended up being moved to the Rafael Hotel for a similar price to our initial booking which ended up being absolutely fantastic.

This could be a nice place to stay ,but unfortunately the owner seems very abrupt her people skills seems to be very lacking. The room and pool are very nice but the towels and bedding wasn't changed as frequently as other places we have stayed ,in fact the pillow case's wasn't changed in lthe two weeks of our stay. Continental breakfast was very poor when we asked for a spoon to eat our yoghurt we was abruptly told to use the spoon we stirred our coffee with. On our last day we decided while waiting for our coach to arrive to try the club sandwich which was advertised with bacon ham and cheese and lettuce but alas when it arrived it was minus the bacon ,we also had fries with this but again no cutlery supplied. All in all not a place I would go back as the owner was the most unfriendly Greek person we have ever met.

Amazing hotel really enjoyed our time here, the recently refurbished rooms are so nice and the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Pool area is nice and never overcrowded and staff are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend if you’re visiting Lindos.

While the hotel renovation is beautiful, large, clean rooms, nice pool area, it is important to remember this is a 2/3 star hotel depending on where you look and that is evident once you look past the appearance. We very much enjoyed our 10 nights here, staff friendly, in particular the owners daughters. There are just a few things that really let the place down and dampened our stay. Firstly, the breakfast - terrible. TUI advertise a ‘continental breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese etc’, the first few days we were served a basket of bread and some Greek yoghurt. I questioned if we were entitled to eggs and was told no as we had booked with TUI. After contacting TUI, the breakfast improved slightly and we were then given half a piece of cheese each and half a slice of ham each with some cucumber and tomato, still no eggs, disappointing when you have paid for bed and breakfast but we didn’t let it ruin our stay. One concern I did have is that whilst we were having a day by the pool, I returned to our room to find the hotel manager / owner stood in our room with 2 of the other guests of the hotel… my confusion clear, she explained that she was showing her friends the rooms after they had been renovated… confusion spiralled more as these guests were also staying at the hotel and all 15 rooms are finished to a similar standard. I found this really unprofessional and inappropriate given all of our belongings were in the room. The pool area is very quiet, sometimes too quiet and the music could do with being a little louder so you don’t feel like you’re disrupting others by talking… overall it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, just some slight things let it down.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The owners do everything to make your stay great! The location is perfect, its a small walk till the city centre/ beach. And the rooms are very big/ modern, love it. Our little girl got fever during our stay and they asked us many times if they can do anything. So caring/ lovely. Even when we forgot something in our room they brought it to our next hotel (50 minutes away from Lindos). We definitely would recommend this hotel!

Lovely relaxing holiday. Accommodation was spotless as was the area around the pool and bar. Eleni was a brilliant host and gave us some great tips on restaurants and other activities. Never a problem to get a bed around the pool which was very peaceful. About a 10 to 15 minute comfortable walk into Lindos which meant you were well away from all the noise and bustle of the town. Decent supermarket just over the road and another, larger one a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommended.
