We had absolutely brilliant experience at this hotel. It is very very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were family of four (kids aged 9 and 12) and we are already planning our trip back next summer to Rhodes and Lardos Bay hotel. The beach is only around the corner and in July it was not mega busy. There is also a shop and water sports center on the beach. The hotel also has relaxed vibe about it. We enjoyed all the meals and there was enough choice for vegetarians too (out of the two freshly cooked pasta the other one seemed to be always vegetarian). It was also nice surprise to find out that you can enjoy beer and wine with your lunch and dinner. Thanks for Rebecca at reception sorting us a room that was ready earler than check-in time on arrival and helping us with a car hire. This hotel is a lovely gem!

For a 5* hotel, this left much to be desired. We had a lovely room which was clean and comfortable. Meals were all buffet style and I did like that diners were asked to wait for a table, this avoided the searching around and waiting for tables to be cleaned and set before eating. What I didn't like was the repetitive dishes, the poor quality ingredients (use of lots of convenience foods such as spring rolls, samosas, fish fingers) A vegan label intrigued me, it was boiled cauliflower :( Breakfast was especially poor with cooked food on the cold side of tepid, not inedible but unpalatable even when going in for breakfast at opening time of 7am. Cakes were dry and tasteless, puddings were unimaginative. Sometimes the only fruit available was apples - depending on when you arrived i.e. dishes were not topped up during restaurant opening times. Lots of people were unwell during our stay, my son didn't want to go down for breakfast one day due to illness. I asked for a bottle of water for him, the waiter informed me they were not allowed to hand them out. I explained the situation at reception, the response was that the supermarket opened very soon. I explained that we were all inclusive to be told that the complimentary bottles were for arrival only. But I could go to a bar and get water? The bars open at 10 (this was 9 in the morning) We waited. Not the service I would expect. I complained and was told we would receive fruit and wine in our room as a goodwill gesture - we never received :( The sauna was tiny and had to be paid for as an extra; the gym was five euros a day. I booked a deep tissue massage which was relaxing but definitely not deep tissue. The therapist didn't even find the areas that my regular masseuse works on.

Fantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

We have recently returned from our first family beach holiday, having stayed in mid May. The hotel surpassed all expectations it was fantastic, such a variety of facilities and entertainment all top quality to suit all ages. The restaurants were fantastic with great variety and something for everyone and pretty much available 24/7. Worth pre booking a la cart on the app prior to arrival. The staff here work extremely hard to make you feel welcome and provide everything they can all with a smile. Big shout out to despina who had such high energy and worked crazy long hours day into night. This would certainly be a give start stay for us we had such a great time and I really recommend you book to stay at this place. Great value for money for the top quality service and product you get from your stay. Only downsides why it didn't hit the full marks, the pools were freezing and took a while to adapt. The communication about activities and what's going on and what services are provided at the hotel is lacking, the hotel has so much to offer and it does not sell that to the guests, you could go your whole stay and miss what's happening at the resort. We found the check in pretty poor and not much information provided. It took a few days to work out where things were and what events were happening, a little more communication or a more interactive app would work. We loved our time so much here we have booked to return in October and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Having been to many All Inclusive hotels in Europe and the world wide, I didn't believe Mexico could be beaten. However everything about Mayia Exclusive Resort is about your guest experience. From when you firs t walkin to when you leave nothing is too much for the staff. The rooms are immaculate and remail that way throughout your stay. The food is plenty full and to a very high standard with plenty of choice. The drinks are all branded and a very wide selection available. Around the pools drinks are delivered as and when you want if you take a break from the sun Renate is on have to deliver everything from beer to cocktails, and staff are not restricted to coktails. THis hotel is well worth the five stars. A massive thank you to the staff for making this holiday one of if not the best ever. My review is late due to medical issue not connection with Mayia Looking forward to booking again. Tim
