Hotel was in okay shape, rooms decent, the kids enjoyed the pool. Our a/c leaked and I could hear it dripping in the night onto the carpet but we were passing through and only stayed one night headed to Colorado so it didn’t bother us too much. After getting back from Colorado we realized we left my sons stuffed animal and my makeup bag in the hotel room. By sheer luck the kids were cuddled up looking cute that morning and I snapped a picture and the puppy lay right next to my son. I called and emailed the hotel and months later they still haven’t recovered the stuffed animal or my makeup bag with 100+ dollars worth of make up. My son has cried so many times for his stuffed animal he’s had since he was little and it’s heartbreaking. Please know if you stay here and leave anything behind you probably will never get it back. So unfortunate. The staff I talked to seemed helpful to go back to the room but it was days after we stayed by the time I realized it. I’m sure plenty of good folks work there besides the person responsible for our missing items.

Love this place we stayed on the 3rd floor no problems room was very ean bed was just a little to firm for my back I had 4 pillows 2 soft 2 firm pillow cases said firm and soft kinda cool. Never again will I bring my pillow from home no need breakfast was great fresh apples, bananas. Biscuits and sausage gravy, two kind of omelets, pork sausage , cinnamon rolls milk cold cereal , 3 kinds of juice. Oatmeal pancake machine was out of order,😞. Breakfast was always great. The pool felt so good jacuzzi felt so good pool and Jacuzzi we're both so clean and they provide towels at the pool also.

Thank heavens for the Marriott Autograph Collection for preserving the grandeur of this Grande Dame. You can tell that this hotel is steeped in history upon entering the lobby. The place is full of charms despite that Davenport may no longer be the important Mississippi River town today as it was in days of yore. Despite the age of the hotel, my king suite was well appointed, roomy, comfortable and clean. I had to take a zoom meeting there and the office space in the room and WI-FI was very accommodating. Before doing a tasting in the dining room for my daughters wedding reception (which will be in the hotel) I met family for a cocktail in the bar. Top notch. Afterwards a nap on the daybed was in order before dinner at a classic supper club across the street. The hotel as a bowling alley and martini bar in the basement that we will use for a welcome reception wedding weekend. The coffee shop off the lobby was terrific for caffeine and pastries. The hotel was full but easily accommodated the crowd. And I did not hear a peep on my floor. There was a brunch in the lobby Sunday that I regret I could not attend. Next time! In all a very pleasant stay and I look forward to returning.

The staff was very friendly, and the hotel amenities were great! The room had a cool chaise and was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again!
