Suite in Rome Veneto

The check in wasn’t great at all - we got there about an hour early and asked if we could store our luggage until check in, a staff member (I want to say one of the cleaners?) told us to leave it in what was going to be our room, come back in 30 minutes and we can be checked in. We go and eat, come back about 45 minutes later, we can’t even get into the building as the main door was shut. A nice lady who was staying there let us in after we stood there for about 20 minutes. We then couldn’t get into the hotel as there was a code on the door, we didn’t get sent any codes at all. Luckily we saw the woman from before after about 20 minutes, and called her upstairs to let us in, she was very confused as to why we needed to get in and seemed to forget she dealt with us not even 2 hours ago. She hardly knew any English (fair enough, not a problem, that’s what google translate is for) she finally understood and let us in. She then rang whoever was in charge who then 10 minutes later messaged me with the check in details and door codes. And I need to say this all happened during the time that the reception was apparently open - between 8:30 - 2:30 - but there was no one at the reception desk or answering the phone when I kept ringing. Me and my partner stayed Monday - Friday and not once saw anyone on that reception desk, at this point I think it’s just for decoration. The only person we saw was the lady from the first day. So other than that, it was a decent stay for the price, but we honestly thought we were going to be stranded for the first night with none of our stuff because of this place. But I also will say: There’s no luggage storage, they say we’re more than welcome to keep our cases in the hall until we leave, you’d think it would be an actual storage room or something. The rooms aren’t exactly soundproof - we could hear other guests coming and going at night - and also the loud Italian builders next door blaring their music and singing at 8am every morning. And no memory foam mattress like it says - unless the others do but ours certainly didn’t. So if you’re not fussed on where you’re sleeping, this place is fine as it’s not a bad location. But make sure you get the codes before you even fly !!!!

Antes de llegar, contactamos con el propietario para ver si había posibilidad de hacer el check out más tarde y nos dijeron que no habría problema. Pues bien, desde el primer momento en que llegamos al país (momento en el que la reserva no era cancelable) nos dijeron que no era posible, cuando ya nos habían dicho que sí. No le damos importancia y aunque es molesto ya que nos sentimos engañados, decidimos aceptarlo. Total, tampoco podíamos hacer nada. Entonces llegamos a la habitación y la red wifi no la encontramos porque no tiene potencia y no llega a la habitación. Se lo decimos y nos dice que nos vayamos a la recepción a conectarnos, cuando hemos pagado una habitación con este servicio. Nos dice que arreglarían el problema a la mañana siguiente y nunca lo arreglaron. No habría problema si en el edificio hubiese cobertura pero es que no hay cobertura ni para hacer llamadas, ni para conectarse vía 4G/3G. Tampoco podemos hacer nada más que comunicarlo al propietario, al fin y al cabo, internet no es esencial (aún habiendo pagado dicho servicio). Cuando pensábamos que nada podía ir peor, la ducha comienza a atascarse. Pensábamos que debía ser un problema común y que el agua tardaría en irse por el desagüe, pero tras ducharnos el segundo día y al tirar de la cisterna del WC, vemos que el agua de este comienza a salir por el desagüe de la ducha. Entonces nos dimos cuenta de que si nos duchábamos, estaríamos con los pies bañados literalmente por el agua del WC (con restos de papel, orina…). Hemos tenido que hacer nuestras necesidades en un bar porque literalmente, no teníamos baño. Encima de todo, hemos llamado en varias ocasiones al propietario y no nos coge el teléfono. Le escribimos a través de Booking y no nos responde cuando no le interesa. Desprecio total hacia el cliente. La situación ha sido terrible. Estos incidentes, no solo nos han fastidiado por completo el viaje, sino que nos han hecho pasar la peor estancia de nuestra vida.

Le check on se fait à distance jusque là pas de problème, on arrive dans la chambre on se dit que c'est sympa. On va prendre une douche les joints de la baignoire sont pourris, le pommeau de douche qui fuit de partout. Aspect général dégradé. J'ai réservé un hôtel avec coffre fort exprès, à ma grande surprise il ne s'ouvre pas, ils ont bien essayé de le changer mais le principe d'un coffre fort c'est qu'il ne puisse pas s'enlever donc j'ai payé pour un coffre fort on ne m'a proposé aucune solution. Un jour avant la fin de notre séjour, on nous demande de faire le check out, le personnel est désagréable même très désagréable, bref je ne recommande pas en plus des travaux dans le bâtiment.
