Colosseum Palace Star

We went to 3 countries for our honeymoon last week. Let me tell you, this place was our favorite!! Federica made it so special for us!! She was prompt on responding to anything we needed, breakfast every morning, booking our transportation and even leaving champagne in our room for us! We felt so pampered and not to mention the room and the views were something out of a story book! Bed is comfortable and the room was clean. Highly recommend this place over a hotel. It won’t disappoint!! Thank you Federica!! We will return. Xo

Wow what a fantastic place to stay! Location is superb with the roof terrace overlooking the colosseum which is a great place to unwind after all the sightseeing The hotel is situated in an apar**ent block with fabulous rooms ours had the biggest bed we’ve ever slept in and and a very very large shower ! Breakfast was brought to your room and was delicious Frederica the host was very knowledgeable about different aspects of Rome that only locals know Location as mentioned is phenomenal not only is it so close to the colosseum that you feel you could touch it , there’s a metro station only three mins walk away .The trevi fountain is about 20 mins walk away All in all I don’t think you could choose a better place to stay for your trip to Rome

I booked this because of the location. It went well beyond my expectations. To start, Frederica emailed prior to arrival asking if she could arrange transportation (she offers this service for all guests). We arrived to find a private, professional driver (similar cost to taxi) holding a sign with my name. drove us to hotel. Where Frederica greeted us with a refreshing fresh juice & Prosecco. We arrived to early for check in however, we were able to freshen up and drop off luggage. Could not have ask for a better location. Centrally located. Easy walking distance to everything. We had wine watching the sunset on the rooftop porch and breakfast overlooking the Colosseum. We spent 1 night in Rome but hope to come back in the future and plan to stay here again. Truly amazing and highly recommend.

What a treat! From arrival to departure was an absolute treat. The room, the surreal coliseum view, the location to the city hub, breakfast, staff the whole deal was amazing. Kim met us and went through best places to eat, getting around, buying tickets, etc

The hotel is located 2 mins from the Colosseum and from our room you can see the Colosseum. Room is just amazing….big room, clean, comfortable bed, beautiful red wines to purchase in the room. You have to experience the room for your self to appreciate it. All I can say is…when you walk into your room the “WOW” factor just takes over. The owner Federica can’t do enough to ensure you have Ann amazing stay at the hotel and also Rome. She took her time advising us which restaurants to visit, where to visit and how to get there. We stayed her for 4 nights and we just wish we could be here longer. If you are ever in Rome and wish to have the WOW factor and an unforgettable stay….this is the place. I have travelled all around the world for business and personal, I can confidently say that this hotel is one of the very best that we have stayed in. We wish to return to Rome next year and, without hesitation we will return to this hotel. It is worth every cent.

Excellent hotel, magnificent location overlooking the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, the view from the roof terrace is stunning! The room was beyond fabulous! we stayed in the Julia sweet looking out on the Colosseum. Frederica and her team were really excellent. This is an ideal location for couples wishing to visit Rome, Frederica was really helpful providing us with a map of Rome and showing us restaurants etc. We will definitely be back to stay at the Palace Star.

Hola Hice la reserva el 14 de Febrero para finales de Junio y ayer me han cancelado la reserva ya que están cerrados a causa de una Inspección . Lo peor es que llevan un mes cerrados y no han avisado ,les he enviado varios mails y sin respuesta hasta ayer, han preferido dejarme sin ninguna opción , para mi y mi familia . No hay hoteles o son carísimos , una auténtica vergüenza que te traten así . Muy arrepentido de haber reservado con ellos y muy molesto por el trato , voy a perder mi viaje por no avisarme y mi dinero

Une adresse unique et inoubliable à deux pas du Colisée! Mon conjoint et moi avons séjourné dans cet hôtel le temps d'un weekend, nous étions logés dans la suite Livia qui est absolument magnifique: vue superbe sur le Colisée (juste en face), chambre spacieuse, grand lit très confortable, chambre très propre, déco originale (un peu rétro) et pleine de charme, machine à café et thé à disposition, plein de petites attentions délicates, petit déjeuner inclus avec choix de l'horaire, des aliments et des boissons, super grande télé, grand placard pour ranger ses affaires, grande douche, et lieu très calme, malgré la proximité avec le Colisée qui est un lieu très touristique. Ce n'est pas vraiment l'hôtel habituel auquel on s'attend, on ne croise personne, on a nos propres clés qui nous permettent d'accéder à la chambre sans passer par la réception, on se sent complètement indépendant. De plus, cerise sur le gâteau, la gérante Federica parle un français impeccable, elle est aux petits soins, très réactive sur Whatsapp si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit (je m'étais blessé le pied et elle m'a apporté des pansements et des compresses), elle vous donne plein de recommandations géniales si c'est votre première fois à Rome (elle vous dit quels sont les endroits touristiques à éviter), et en plus elle se charge de vous trouver un chauffeur privé qui vient vous chercher et vous ramène à l'aéroport si besoin. Franchement le service est exceptionnel, on n'a pas l'impression d'être de simples clients, on se sent presque chez soi, et on est extrêmement bien accueilli. Pour finir, le prix est vraiment raisonnable vu la qualité du service, la taille de la chambre, et la proximité avec le Colisée (en plein coeur de la ville). Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir et je recommande vivement cette adresse à tous les couples qui découvrent Rome pour la première fois et souhaitent s'offrir un séjour romantique.

Petit hôtel situé au rez-de-chaussé d’un immeuble face au Colisée. La chambre est grande , propre et parfaitement équipée : télé, Clim, mini-bar, café, livres. La literie est de qualité et la salle de bain est fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur commande en fonction de vos goûts ( pain, croissant, fromage blanc, chocolat , café, omelettes, charcuterie…). Le gros point fort de l’hôtel est la gentillesse et la disponibilité de la patronne pour un service individualisé. Elle vous accueille, donne des conseils pour les visites, les restaurants… Le point faible est aussi le point fort : la proximité avec le Colisée rend la chambre bruyante la nuit. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, je vous recommande cet hôtel.
