Hotel di Rome

We are a family of four, just returned from Camping Fabulous. We chose this campsite for its location and proximity to Rome. We didn't hire a car but organised a taxi from and to the Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport as it cost less than public transport and is less than a 30 minute transfer. We stayed 3-10th April. The campsite was just getting geared up for the start of the season and they were not ready to hit the ground running. The night we arrived there was a large queue of people outside the very small reception cabin, it's not an actual building, and a security guard outside was managing the queue so people didn't crowd into the very small cabin. We couldn't see how many reception staff were on so went straight to the bar for something to eat. It was busy there and staff seemed frazzled and harassed as if not expecting it to be so busy so early in the season. Food is basic but adequate. Stick to reliables like pizzas and pasta. Anything outside of that from a secondi menu did not live up to the description on the menu and pricey for what it was. Restaurant is not very attractive in decor- it's more like a canteen than a restaurant in the lighting and noisy acoustics. It's not a place you'd like to linger over a glass of wine. Eat and go. We returned to reception and got our key to our mobile which was a three bed close to the pool area. We requested a change right away as we were housed next door to a large noisy group of Italian men and reception facilitated our request. The second mobile was in a much quieter area but still near the pool. Good idea by previous reviewer to study the map of the campsite and select your accommodation before you go and ask to be accommodated in your choice. We met one family from Brussels with children who were 20 minutes walk from.the pool area, supermarket etc. The campsite is very big so bear in mind that you could be accommodated a good walk from facilities if you don't request otherwise. We knew the pool wouldn't be open until Friday 7th April and that was fine as we intended to visit Rome 4tg, 5th and 6th and stay around the pool when weather was forecast to be good at the Easter weekend but it did not say on the website that the supermarket would not be open until Friday 7th either. In fact it didnt open until Saturday 8th due to some issues but no one working there seemed to know when exactly it was opening and weren't too bothered either. People were milling sround in the mornings trying to buy the few croissants on sale from the bar and they sold out fast and that was it then, nothing else to buy, no basics available like fresh bread , milk or water. The bar staff were overwhelmed by the queue of people and knowing they were unprepared. We walked to the PIM supermarket, a well stocked supermarket, which was over 1km away and trekked back with water milk, cereal etc on a very dangerous, uneven, bumpy road with no footpath except at times, a bit of a muddy verge as the cars sped past. It'

The hotel was a pleasant surprise in Porto Turistico. Black sand beach and balcony were very nice. Breakfast was great. Many nice restaurants and shops along the boardwalk. Bed was good but a bit too firm for comfort. It was a nice way to end our trip to Italy. We booked through a 3rd party, expecting to be very close the to the airport. Unfortunately it is not at all close (40 Euro ride). Beware of Hotwire.

Struttura alquanto datata. Comodo un ristorante non dell’albergo ma di fianco alla strutttura. Ottimo per chi viaggia per lavoro. Bar da dimenticare. Che dire. Sembra una vecchia scuola adattata ad albergo.

Best hotel by the beach and airport. Real 4 star hotel , strong AC stays when card is removed. Not cheap about the AC like others beach view from room. Rooftop is amazing with beach view

Ho soggiornato in questo Hotel con mia figlia e mio fratello per 3 notti (avevamo prenotato 3 camere matrimoniali). La posizione è ottima, proprio davanti al pontile di Ostia e vicinissimo ad un'isola pedonale, dove si trovano tantissimi locali. Non è neanche troppo lontano dalla stazione della metropolitana, che è raggiungibile in una decina di minuti a piedi. Nelle immediate vicinanze è anche abbastanza facile trovare un parcheggio gratuito. L'arredamento è un pò datato, ma funzionale. Sia il bagno che la camera puliti. Molto utile il piccolo frigo. Il personale cortese e preparato. Una menzione particolare a Lucia, la ragazza della prima colazione, molto gentile, solerte, disponibile e simpatica. Molto buona e gradita la pizza bianca e rossa servita la mattina, ed anche la macedonia di frutta fresca. Ottimo il maxi cappuccino nei mugs. Lo consiglio per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Di ritorno da un volo internazionale con scalo a Fiumicino, ho utilizzato questo hotel stante l'arrivo a sera inoltrata. Check in veloce e altrettanto il check out la mattina successiva. Personale gentile. Ottima la camera al 5 piano. Pulita e confortevole, così come il bagno ampio e dotato di ogni accessorio. Colazione nella media di un hotel a 4 stelle. Ho parcheggiato a lato dell'hotel senza problemi. Purtoppo il condizionatore presente aveva un leggero difetto e la qualità del sonno, stante un rumore ciclico e ripetitivo ne ha risentito.

Villa all’interno di un parco con piscina : tranquillità e relax . Parcheggio all interno. Vi ricevono i proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. La villa è arredata con mobili in stile anni 50 ed è un vero piacere soggiornarvi . Colazione servita in giardino (sia dolce che salata ) : tutto buono , ben preparato e ben servito . Ci si sente a casa . Camere ( Suites) molto spaziose dice si può godere di una completa tranquillità . Situata vicino ad Ostia , in un quartiere residenziale ben tenuto . Complimenti ai proprietari !

Personale disponile e gentile Location ottima. Tutto pulito e in ordine Rispetto massimo delle norme di sicurezza Ho soggiornato con mia moglie e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo prenderemo in considerazione per le prossime volte. Consigliato anche a mia figlia e al suo ragazzo. Antonio L.

Even though the location was pretty far from the center the hotel was excellent. It was clean, quiet environment, the staff was very friendly and helpful ! I had a great stay!
