Hotel 5 Bintang Terbaik di Rome

For a fussy family of four with two teens and high standards, Portrait Roma set the bar far beyond our other travel experiences in North America and Europe. With only 14 rooms, the Ferragamo family has created a “no bad room/view” situation over 7 stories of an amazing built space off Via Condotti right by the Spanish Steps. The meals were delicious, the rooftop view and vibe were perfect for us, and the two adjoining rooms on the 6th floor with 100+ ft terrace were spot on for all-in family fun as well as individual seclusion. The client service and attention was top-shelf (the two 3 hour private tours of Ancient Rome and the Vatican were adroitly curated to meet our needs), and our only regret was 3 nights/4 days weren’t long enough to scratch all of our itches. Next time, Portrait Roma - ciao!!!

Classic hotel, very beautiful and with a great location on top of the Plaza de España. Very spacious suite, super confortable bed. The bathroom had no heating, which became unpleasant. Very good housekeeping service. Good quality breakfast but could have more variety. Good concierge service. Great sympathy of the doormen

The front desk team was charming and helpful from months ahead of our stay (helping with excursion and dining reservations) and during our stay. But, we were underinformed in some key ways. We were not aware that the Bar was not run by a third party (and the Bar manager who was unpleasant was not in the slightest bit interested in us being hotel residents). Also, when shown to our room, we were not given even a quick summary of how things worked and what information there was in the room to which we could turn for written help - for example, clearer (and more easily visible) instructions on using the safe, TV and even the location of the minibar. Room servicing by housekeeping was repeatedly sloppy with a changing variety of errors - none fatal but most were irritating - for example regarding towels, telephone location, supply of bottled water, care with our clothing (One should note that our friends experienced a series of far worse issues in their bedroom) Breakfasts were very good in Aroma and the view is stunning Overall, though it would not be correct to rate the hotel as excellent but with more forethought and better trained housekeeping staff it should not be too difficult to raise the performance level

This is the 3rd time staying in this incredible hotel and the most special stay we will ever have in it. We got married in the hotel and it was utterly perfect in every single way. We stayed here back in 2022 when we got engaged and again in 2024 to plan the wedding and each time it just becomes more special and magical. You will see further on how much I talk about the staff, but it is them that make this much more than a hotel and bring the magic to life. They are truly at the top of their game with customer service and go above and beyond. Our suite which we stayed in for four nights was incredible- a big terrace and spectacular views over Rome. The housekeeping was amazing as always and made sure the room was always perfect. We felt so special from the minute we checked in. Ciranza from the front desk was amazing, she walked us to our suite and chatted with use throughout our stay. When I say nothing was too much trouble I mean it. The staff in every department were incredible. Now for what is the most special day in your life, the wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every single way and beyond what we expected. We felt like two kings and that is no exaggeration. Our amazing wedding planner Chiara who dealt with us over the last 2 years to plan was there on the day and ensured everything went perfectly. She went above and beyond and was so helpful with last minute changes due to some guests not being able to make it due to cancelled flights. Chiara made sure our day was perfect and for that we will be forever grateful to her as she made a dream come true. Thank you Chiara! The food, drinks and service was outstanding the whole day and every guest commented on how they have never had better service and in such beautiful surroundings. Luca and his team were great! However, a special mention to Giuliano from the bar staff. On our first day he served us in the bar and was telling us he would be working Saturday at our big day! Well…. This man is just incredible at what he does. He went above and beyond in making sure my husband and I were not only looked after but utterly spoilt all day. Thank you again Giuliano! We will definitely be back at the hotel to mark our anniversary next year and plan to have many more fantastic stays in this amazing property with even more amazing staff. Thank you to everyone that played a part in our big day!

The location is perfect, near the Termini station which connects you everywhere you go. Termini station is not exactly safe as there are many homeless people camping and roaming around. We felt that the hotel was safe as the doors were locked and security guard is on duty to service the guests.

I stayed 4 nights at Palazzo Montemartini with my family during our Italy trip. The property is very well maintained and the location is convenient (right across the main train station). Very helpful staff and outstanding service all around. They have a beautiful spa, and we even had time for a 1 hour massage with my son, which I highly recommend (they definitely knew what they where doing). Th building itself looks very Roman and historic, but the interior and the rooms have a much more modern feel. They have a nice rooftop terrace wit great views of Rome. The restaurant was also very beautifully decorated with excellent food options to choose from. There was some elevator issues, but I'm sure it was only temporary, besides there are enough elevators to not make it a big deal. I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you!!!

My wife and I stayed here for the first time (on our fifth trip to Rome over the last 20 plus years) for five nights starting Sat., Sept 7 with check-out Thursday Sept. 12. The hotel is easy to access, two blocks from Piazza Bernini and near public transportation and numeorus good restaurants with a variety of price points and also shopping. The hotel is very up to date and clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a very nice roof top bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever, a wide selection of delicious food. The best aspect of this hotel is the staff. They were among the best ever. All the staff from the bellme to the servers and the front desk / reception / conceirge were all incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. They even said specifically they wanted our stay to be extra special. I specifically recognize Roseella and Valeria at the reception though I wish I had the names of all the staff, they really were just above and beyong excellent. We totally recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Locarno for the second time for a few nights. For years, we were looking for a hotel in Rome that met our needs in terms of service, style and location. We have found this combination here in this very elegant hotel. The Locarno Hotel is worth considering because of its exceptional charm, warm welcome and excellent service, and extremely convenient location. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. From experience we can say that every request is answered immediately and this from the very first contact via email. During both stays (in 2023 and in September 2024) we were offered an upgrade. The last time we were assigned a beautiful, spacious junior suite. Breakfast, which we like to enjoy in the garden, is chosen from a menu offering a wide range of sweet and savoury dishes and it is served at the table. In the evening, we like to have an aperitif on the roof terrace which offers a panoramic view of the city. But it can also be enjoyed in the bar or garden on the ground floor. The music is never too loud, and the cocktails are very tasty. In addition, both the roof terrace and the bar or garden on the ground floor are lively places where guests like to stop, which makes a huge difference to most hotels where these places attract few to no customers at all. In short, it is most pleasant to stay at the Hotel Locarno and we especially appreciate that the hotel does not try to participate in the latest trends. Instead, it remains true to its own signature style full of old-fashioned charm without compromising on comfort or quality. This is what makes the Locarno Hotel so unique and different from other hotels in Rome. Where else does the reception staff still come outside to wave you goodbye when you leave? We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Hotel Locarno!
