Hotel berhampiran Muratella, Rome

We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn, the airport shuttle was not available to bring us from the airport but we were able to get it back so can't really complain. No problems with check in, the ladies on reception were very friendly as was everyone we encountered at the hotels. Rooms were good size, very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast has plenty of variety there is something for everyone, honestly if you couldn't find something to eat its not the hotels fault. The hot food isn't exactly hot but the hotel caters for large numbers so its not a cooked to order type of place and again if you want a full English this is not the place to go. We ate a few nights in the restaurant and to be honest if was very hit and miss, pizza was good as was the pasta dishes. we had the chicken one night and it wasn't the best. Kids eat free so added bonus. The gym is well equipped. the pool was being renovated so we got to use the pool a few minutes walk from the hotel again it would have been nice to be informed that the pool was being renovated just so we would have had choice about our booking but again nothing major about a few minutes walk. The bar is really lovely to have a drink and chill but the hotel when we stayed was very busy so didn't get a real opportunity to sit and relax there. No major complaints from us but would have loved a fridge in the room it was super hot outside and would have been nice to have the complimentary water chilled. On our last night a tour group arrived so there was a lot of banging of doors and people talking in the corridor late in the night, nothing the hotel can do about loud individuals being inconsiderate to those asleep but other than that a very nice stay. Reception sell the train tickets into Rome and the station is a short walk away. The area is a bit run down but that's nothing to do with the hotel. We would be back to see the renovations in the pool area. Thank you

We are a family of four, just returned from Camping Fabulous. We chose this campsite for its location and proximity to Rome. We didn't hire a car but organised a taxi from and to the Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport as it cost less than public transport and is less than a 30 minute transfer. We stayed 3-10th April. The campsite was just getting geared up for the start of the season and they were not ready to hit the ground running. The night we arrived there was a large queue of people outside the very small reception cabin, it's not an actual building, and a security guard outside was managing the queue so people didn't crowd into the very small cabin. We couldn't see how many reception staff were on so went straight to the bar for something to eat. It was busy there and staff seemed frazzled and harassed as if not expecting it to be so busy so early in the season. Food is basic but adequate. Stick to reliables like pizzas and pasta. Anything outside of that from a secondi menu did not live up to the description on the menu and pricey for what it was. Restaurant is not very attractive in decor- it's more like a canteen than a restaurant in the lighting and noisy acoustics. It's not a place you'd like to linger over a glass of wine. Eat and go. We returned to reception and got our key to our mobile which was a three bed close to the pool area. We requested a change right away as we were housed next door to a large noisy group of Italian men and reception facilitated our request. The second mobile was in a much quieter area but still near the pool. Good idea by previous reviewer to study the map of the campsite and select your accommodation before you go and ask to be accommodated in your choice. We met one family from Brussels with children who were 20 minutes walk from.the pool area, supermarket etc. The campsite is very big so bear in mind that you could be accommodated a good walk from facilities if you don't request otherwise. We knew the pool wouldn't be open until Friday 7th April and that was fine as we intended to visit Rome 4tg, 5th and 6th and stay around the pool when weather was forecast to be good at the Easter weekend but it did not say on the website that the supermarket would not be open until Friday 7th either. In fact it didnt open until Saturday 8th due to some issues but no one working there seemed to know when exactly it was opening and weren't too bothered either. People were milling sround in the mornings trying to buy the few croissants on sale from the bar and they sold out fast and that was it then, nothing else to buy, no basics available like fresh bread , milk or water. The bar staff were overwhelmed by the queue of people and knowing they were unprepared. We walked to the PIM supermarket, a well stocked supermarket, which was over 1km away and trekked back with water milk, cereal etc on a very dangerous, uneven, bumpy road with no footpath except at times, a bit of a muddy verge as the cars sped past. It's great location near the airport. Breakfast was good. The bed is not comfortable but I will recommend the place

Our delegation of scientists, who came to Rome to participate in the International Scientific Congress, are very dissatisfied with the hotel's service, service and unkind attitude. Due to the cancellation of the flight and the strike of the train service personnel in Milan central station, we arrived late on July 13 instead of July 10 at the mentioned hotel, which we had already purchased from July 10 to July 17. The hotel administration had information about our travel problems, despite the confirmation that we would keep the purchased rooms, they did not wait for us and resold our rooms. When we arrived at the place, instead of empathy and support, they threatened us and showed aggression towards us. i.e. Both our reservation and the money we paid were lost and we got a lot of psychological shock/stress. And after that, of course, we will have only negative comments, especially about the employee Angelica, who was completely rude, and I think that such employees bring down the rating of the hotel, any service provider organization, and the entire country.

Staff were pleasant, location perfect if you want to be close to the airport. They advertise that they have a shuttle to the airport for 5 Euro and I even confirmed this via email but turns out they did not for some reason. A taxi ride is @ 32 Euros for 4 people with luggage. The buffet breakfast was amazing, lots of choices. There is no safe in the room. The shower area is big enough. There is an Italian restaurant about a 2 minute walk . It was good but the owners didn't speak very much English, they will show you their menu on a tablet for you to browse thru. Otherwise they have the menu on a QR code that you can look at if you want that choice. Very friendly people there. There is a grocery story within walking distance . Staff were very helpful with directions. Would stay again.

Beautiful Hotel, great value, a bit far from Rome and any activities. The pool had not opened yet so not much to do as tourists in this beautiful hotel . The staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk helpful. As others have discussed, on multiple occasions, room service phones go unanswered, just ring and ring. Breakfast for $15. Per person is the best you will ever experience. The wait staff were awesome. The shuttle service into Rome is a good value, $15 round trip but only runs 4 times per day, does not leave early enough to get you to the airport for an early flight and returns at 9pm, just when the Romans are waking up. The shuttle also stops at 2-3 other INH properties, which causes it to sell out days in advance ( frequently). If the shuttle is full or the times don’t work, now you are into serious dollars to hire a taxi into Rome center. Depending upon where you are going, $45-60 one way ( for 2). We also paid $50 taxi fare from the airport each way.so over the course of the 4.5 days at the hotel, we spent $250-$300 for transportation just to get to town. If I were not staying on points, I would consider an in-town option.

L'hotel è veramente carino, le camere comode, soprattutto la doccia extralarge. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Inizialmente avevo prenotato una camera Classic, poi mi sono accorta che in quella tipologia di stanza non c'era il balcone quindi ho chiamato per chiedere se era possibile effettuare l'upgrade alla superior all'arrivo. Mi dissero che il cambio sarebbe costato 60 euro per due notti, ma all'arrivo ho trovato una sorpresa: l'upgrade era stato effettuato gratuitamente. Cosa si può chiedere più così? Bravi

From the front desk staff, to the rooms, breakfast and lounges everything is just perfect. A bit far from the city but really worth the drive to stay at a place that really feel like you are on vacation.

I stayed in this hotel from 13-15th May. A new and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. On the early morning of 15/5, I found that my eyes seemed to have inflammation and the condition was deteriorating rapidly. I went downstairs around 5am to the reception and met a gentleman wearing glasses ( I recalled his name was Ricardo but my spelling was probably incorrect as I did not know italian language. My sincere apology to him first) He was aware of my conditions but said that there was no on-site doctor available at the moment. He told me that if I considered my condition serious, he could call an ambulance for me. As I have to check out at 0745 hours going to Florence, I immediately requested Ricardo to call an ambulance for me. The ambulance arrived very soon. After examination, the paramedics were satisfied that my condition was emergency and sent me to the nearby Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico where I received swift and professional treatment led by Dr Bucci Chiara. I was discharged shortly after 7am and returned to my tour group to carry on my visit before 8am. Dr Bucci Chiara was so kind to guide me where to take the Uber. In this matter, I deeply appreciated all involved including Ricardo, who asked my wife about my conditions before going off duty, the two ambulance paramedics, Dr Bucci Chiara and her medical/nursing colleagues. They all displayed a high degree of professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm towards their job. I felt that they are all very kind, generous, helpful people. I told other members in my tour group and they also found it amazing. Italy is such a wonderful place. I look forward to visiting Italy again very soon. Thank you to them all.
