The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!

We booked on booking.com, but when we arrived to check in we were told our room had been double booked and we were being downgraded. We had originally booked the room with private sauna, so were very disappointed that we did not have this facility, particularly as the communal sauna is only open for around 3 hours per day and we had an activity booked the same time so could not use it at all. The location is stunning and we had fun walking the various trails from the hotel. We had two activities booked which both collected from the hotel, but otherwise we had to get taxis to and from the town centre as there is no public transport to the hotel. Taxis cost around €20 each way, and reception can book them for you. Room was nice, but the light switches were quite difficult to use. We were also a bit cold and could not see a way to up the temperature. The bath was lovely, and came with bubble bath, robes and slippers which we made use of. Our view was of a car park, so that was not great. Breakfast was amazing, lovely views and they even had honey on the comb. You have to book the restaurant in advance, or make alternative plans (but keep in mind there are not really any other options around the hotel). Staff were friendly.

On our last night in the santasport apartments & have been very happy with the accommodation. Really spacious & clean on arrival. Rooms are pleasantly warm have plenty of cutlery/plates etc. kettle, microwave, hairdryer, toaster, dishwasher, big fridge/freezer. Loads of storage space for cases & belongings. 2 bathrooms one with sauna, 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfy, loads of extra pillows, extra duvet & plenty of extra towels. Big TV, there seems to be a place to plug a fire stick in but I forgot batteries for remote! Never used any of the facilities in the main hotel like pool/bowling etc as we were so busy out & about. Didn’t eat there either, we brought stuff with us or ate out. The staff were helpful when I had one or two queries & room was ready 3 hours early (lucky I guess) Its a good 10-15 min drive to Santa Village you need a car or taxis, I couldn’t see anything in the immediate vicinity, such as shops/restaurants & certainly not walking distance in -30! We had cretins staying above us who would bang the doors until 2am - absolutely not the hotels fault but maybe bring ear plugs. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Hotel has a very good location. Everything you need you will find it around. Of course, small renovation will be appreciate. Very quiet, beds were comfortable, breakfast was okay there is choice for everyone. Small issue with the TV in the room but solution was found. We arrived on a Saturday, cleaning was done on Sunday but waste was not changed and after that no cleaning until Wednesday, and we left on Wednesday so we asked for towels, another waste bag and paper toilet on Tuesday. We said at the reception Monday evening that no cleaning was done on Monday but nothing changed on Tuesday and we decided to ask ourselves for anything we needed but beds and room were not cleaned for 3 days. That is absolutely inacceptable for the price for the room. That is the only big bad point but very important.

Perfect place for a budget stay. Food was excellent with both breakfast and dinner buffets having a vast choice of well cooked local food. Room was warm and basic with a comfortable bed I couldn't ask for more as I had no intention of spending all day in it. Tv worked and there was a fridge all we needed. Staff could not do enough for us all though they were extremely busy and when a taxi did not turn up to take us to the airport on our way home the manager/owner dropped everything and took us himself you cannot beat that

My wife booked this place for my 40th (which is actually tomorrow). Tonight is our last night here and I wanted to leave them a review. I don't actually have anything negative to say other than we are moving on tomorrow and I have to pack shortly... I don't like packing! Really accommodating. Extremely clean accommodation. Staff are friendly. Car park is easy to get in and out of. To be totally Frank with you I would definitely stay here again and i really hope i do. It is literally minutes from everything you want or need. There is even a BK and a Mcdonalds a stones throw away. I've never met the management but I would like to thank them for the free chocolates and the room upgrade bexause it was my birthday - little things like that go a long way with me. By the way the locals are really friendly.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre, it's a basic hotel which is clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is more continental with 3 hot item available. The only downside to the hotel is their is no safe in the rooms so had to carry all personal items laptop, money, passport etc around with me all the time. The hotel did offer to put item in their own safe but decided against it. It didn't put me off staying here again and would return.
