If your looking for an "OK" place to stay at a low price, this is a place for you. I was just a little disappointed with some small things.
1. The rooms are a dated cover up. There are little things like the tile in the hallway, the chipped paint and patched walls, the bugs in the light fixtures, and the bumps under the carpet on the floors that tell you this was a older hotel restoration into what is there today. The building with the rooms shows that their maintenance department is either low on staff, or is just not keeping up with their maintenance as good as they should.
2. They only had 2 elevators, one was down for refurbishment, and the other broke down right after we got their. They were able to fix in after about an hour...thankfully for those of us on the 5th floor.
3. The restaurant has a very limited menu and is a bit over priced. It also took the, othen missing bar tender, 20 mins to get our drink order. But our server was awesome.
4. Our room had multiple small things wrong. The tub rocked left to right when You walked in it to shower. It also filled up and drained slowly when using it. The wall blow dryer didn’t work. The room safe didn’t work. And the balcony rails were PVC pipe! Many parts were loose and just not safe in my opinion.
Overall, it was a mostly clean room and affordable hotel on the beach, but just not the "Resort " style hotel you would think you get with the name Guy Harvey. Great low budget option, but just not that impressive.
