Good location, walking distance from supermarkets and restaurants. Good value for money as tickets include access to port Aventura world and Ferrari land. However note there is no access to the water park at Portaventura. You would need to pay at the gate. Breakfast times are booked in advance and need to be abided to strictly which is fair. Good variety of food at breakfast Parking chargeable at EUR18 a day. But off street parking available for free (white lines) and blue lines have restrictions at certain time of the year. Ten mins drive to the park. Also shuttle service available to Portaventura world.

Just leaving this hotel today. I’m so pleased we didn’t take notice of the negative reviews. Staff are lovely. Hotel is really clean. Breakfasts had lots of variety. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels. If I could suggest an improvement it would be that the rooms are a little outdated but very clean. Than you for a lovely stay.

The hotel itself is clean and rooms are fine (when we eventually got the type of room we requested that is). Hotel staff are quite rude and came across very standoffish. Having to book for breakfast and dinner is just a shambles. Breakfast starts at 8 and you get 40 minute slots. The staff also come over and say 5 minutes left etc. food was okay. Lunch is between 1-3 and you don’t have to book. We never went to the restaurant for lunch as the snack bar by the pool was good. By the pool you get fries, burgers, hotdogs and multiple other things. As for dinner, never got booked in until 21:45 a couple of the nights and this was the same for a lot of people including families with small children. The food was edible, not really a great deal to choose from and weather you got drinks or not was dependant on who seated you. The pool was a bit of a shambles too. No inflatables. No sunglasses in the pool. And depending which lifeguard was on sometimes no balls in the pool & no splashing… never went to the evening entertainment as it didn’t look great to be honest. The hotel itself is just a short walk from the shops, not even 5 minutes. You can also get a free bus to port aventura world from the hotel. Only lasted an hour at port aventura world as it was far too hot to be walking around and queues for rides were minimum an hour (bigger rides taking 2 and a half hours) so we ended up getting a taxi back.

Lovely bright reception area on arrival and quick check in, it was late when we arrived and no issue. Room was basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom spotless also. Cooler in room for drinks, not a fridge so just maintains temperature. Cleaned daily after 11am, towels changed after three days but I personally would prefer daily changes. Nice size balcony with small clothes line. Only two chairs and a small round table, there was 3 of us so we could use the chair from the room but any more than 3 people staying it would be an issue. Breakfast service starts at 8, you have three start times 8, 9 and 10 and you have 40mins to eat. If you arrived at say 8.30 then you'd be asked to leave at 8.40 for the next sitting! Breakfast staff were lovely though, the lady at the front desk was a wee gem but not great English, very friendly though and always smiling! We only booked B&B so can't say what lunch and dinner is like. We went out after breakfast most days and used the pool late afternoons apart from two days when we were at the parks. The pool had plenty of deck chairs available. We played ball in the pool and were told we couldn't but the next day there were two groups that were playing ball and didn't seem to be an issue!! Another young lad had a small floating ring and was told no also. The lady lifeguard was no way friendly at all!! The service at the bar and pool area was shocking bad, slow and so unfriendly. They dragged their feet for anything they were asked for. Got tickets for portaventura, firary land and water park for half price which was great! We did portaventura and firary Park in one day as portaventura closed at 6 and firary land didn't open until 5. Portaventura was excellent but firary Park really not worth it. More of a museum than adventure! Water park very good and nice and compact. If visiting portaventura be prepared for alot of walking!!! We got fast passes so beat alot of queuing time...most rides had a wait time of 1 hour and 30 mins. Food and drink ridiculous prices but you can't bring food in so no choice but to buy in the park. Check out was grand but no big friendly thank yous from staff! Had a few hours to kill until our transfer to airport so booked two lockers for luggage €5 for a locker, convenient service. Hotel only 5min from beach ***** and loads of restaurants nearby. For cleanliness and convenience I would stay again but staff training and more staff in bar and pool areas is a serious necessity to bring it up to standard.

Never stayed in a worse hotel ever on arrival. Had to wait until 3 o’clock to check in the pool does not open until 11 o’clock neither can you get drinks until 11 o’clock? The drinks are awful The pool of snacks which are terrible. The bar itself opens at 12 which is not actually a bar. There is approximately five bottles of alcohol and all cocktails are made behind a closed door which taste like pop. The food is absolutely disgusting. I am on my second day of one week break and I’ve tried to find a different hotel. It is so bad the family are tears as we waited six months to come here. I cannot only describe it as the worst experience I’ve ever had. I paid for all inclusive eat the food and the drinks are dreadful. I ordered a vodka and orange and they gave it to me in dirty pint glass which was not even dry. They just rinsed it out. The other option is paper cups I can probably go on but there’s not enough space , please stay away from this hotel. It is got to be the worst in salute. Or in all of Spain have had better times in Blackpool

We couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the hotel. It was very well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice on the all inclusive. The hotel is a 5 min walk to Salou with plenty of bars/restaurants and shops. We recommend the Scottish Flower bar for a good night out. On the negative side the hotel was all geared up for children and there was no adult entertainment in the show bar. There did seem to be a lot of school aged children which was unusual as we didn’t go in school holiday time. All in all good value holiday but would recommend more for families than couples.

Someone else had said this, after reading reviews I did become nervous before staying. Once arriving I'm shocked at how bad the reviews were! The interior is lovely, the reception was very helpful. There was 7 of us for my 21st birthday and we were put in rooms all next to each-other, after a small issue on the first day one room was moved immediately with friendly staff apologising. Yes there is no kettle in the rooms however we were all inclusive so we could grab this anytime we needed. In the rooms you get hand soap, shampoo and body wash. No toothpaste although there are shops within 2 minute walk. With the booking system, it's very simple and you can book/change anytime for your whole holiday. You may struggle if you're vegetarian/ vegan but our friend always managed to find something. Good range and always hot for us but could be better. Staff were super friendly and talkative all holiday. For lunch, everyday is the same (chips, hotdog, burger) and this is by the pool but they also provide fruit bowls, pre-made sandwhiches, ice creams, salads ect. I have seen this a couple times on the reviews that people bought the portaventura tickets (all 3 parks) included with stay and then being told at the gate it doesn't include the water park. This is not the case! We had the same issue at the gate but we confirmed when arriving at reception if we had access to all three parks with our stay. I think there's a mix up with the tickets being handed out. This was sorted at the portaventura gates and the tickets were changed to allow access no extra charge. We did not get the free bus as there were no spaces 5 minutes before it left which was slightly frustrating but walking was much quicker then we thought anyway. In terms of drinks, estrella is on tap as well as a large range of cocktails made perfectly! Exactly like the 8 euro cocktails you'd get at the bar on the *****. I would like to appreciate the bar staff as there was 7 of us coming up multiple times and they'd always serve us quick and efficiently so well done :) There are 2 bars with beer at both but only inside had spirits/ cocktails. The pool is not heated and was still a little chilly for an early June stay, no problem as we'd still go for a swim. 10 minute walk to the beach. if you turn right from the hotel you'll find yourself on a ***** of shops walking down to the beach if you like shopping. Mar was very friendly! she was great every-time we saw her! If you're coming here in your 20s it is very family oriented but that didn't stop us

In general, the hotel is OK. First, the downsides: we booked 2 rooms but were placed on different floors. Usually, the hotel has twin rooms connected by an internal door for families, but because of this door, the soundproofing is terrible. You can hear absolutely everything. Some kids were placed next to my room, and they were screaming and banging until 2-3 AM. Perhaps it's partly our fault for not calling in advance and insisting on being placed in such rooms. Secondly, we booked an all-inclusive plan, but for some reason, we were registered as half board, which caused us issues with the service, especially at the snack bar and lobby bar. When we complained at the reception, they gave us wristbands (tags) but didn't change the plan. The reception provides no detailed information unless asked. For example, we weren't told exactly where the bus to Port Aventura Park stops. We thought it was in front of the hotel and almost missed it because it usually stops on the left side of the hotel, where the parking entrance is, across the street. Additionally, we weren't told that the free tickets to the parks do not provide free entry to the Caribbean Aquapark, and we had to pay 43 euros per person on the spot. My wife accidentally threw trash in the wrong bin, and two staff members started discussing and criticizing her, which was clear by the gestures they made which was very annoying. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and tries to be helpful (Mar is very nice). The rooms are large with 2 double beds, the food is great, and the drinks are good too. We were lucky with the weather—it was perfect, 24-25 degrees. The beach was crowded, the water was crystal clear, and the theme parks are fantastic. In my opinion, Port Aventura is even bigger than Alton Towers. Everywhere is clean, tidy, and green, with flowers all around. There's a supermarket near the hotel where you can buy everything. Food and drinks are cheaper than in the UK. We made the mistake of buying shirts and shorts from England. At Sainsbury's, shirts cost £15 and bermudas £20-25, while in Spain, they have everything, shirts are €9-12, and on top of that, you can claim the VAT when leaving the country, saving you one suitcase in one direction if you travel with just the clothes on your back. So, in general, everything was almost perfect. From my side, 5 stars because the staff shouldn't bear the blame for the reception, and it seems the hotel system doesn't work properly.

Wow I just love this hotel amazing room and overall feel of the hotel. Stayed with 4 children balcony was massive and amazing overlooking the pool. Free portaventutra park tickets which was an added bonus. Food was ok not amazing but anywhere I have stayed in Spain has been the same. Would love to come back to this hotel. Very close to shops and beach. Love everything about it.
